how do tune sql query? Can somebody help me in this? Atleast prescribe a reference book.
I am not able understand How to analyze tkproof output.

Check out asktom.oracle.com
Lot's of threads on interpreting tkprof output - no simple easy solution here.
You need to understand what is happening and THINK. Then you can be a good engineer.
As for good books...
Tom Kyte's books are really, really good.

  • How to tune sql query

    Hi,
How I can tune sql query? what are the steps for tuning.

First important step: Infomation gathering. One part can be learning to use the powerful search engine. E.g. search this forum for: "When your query takes too long".
Second step: Information processing. Check the data you found and apply it to your problem
Third step: Testing. Compare the result of the applied change before and after. Was there any performance gain as expected?

  • Can somebody help me with this code?

Can anyone help me with this code? My problem is that i can't
seem to position this form, i want to be able to center it
vertically & horizontally in a div either using CSS or any
    other means.
    <div id="searchbar"><!--Search Bar -->

    </div>
    <div class="searchcont">Search For
    Products:</div>
    </div><!-- End Search Bar -->
    Pleasssssseeeeeeee Help
    Thanks

    Hi,
Your form is defined in a div named "serchcartcont", you can
use attributes like position and align of the div to do what you
want to do. But there are two more dives above this dive, you will
have define the height width of these before you can center align
the inner most div. If you are not defining the height & width
then by default it decide it automatically to just fit the content
    in it.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can not activate my ipad - can somebody help me on this?

My kids entered obviously wrong passwords and de-activatet the device. how can I re-activate it.
I only have a relatively dated backup

    Hi FFI911,
Right under the alert that says iPad is disabled, you'll see a set time before you can try entering the correct passcode again. The other option is to restore the iPad from recovery mode, as described in the document below.

  • Can somebody help me understand this dialog window?

I have an English CS3 but my native language is Dutch. I struggle understanding this dialog box:
Your current color settings honor CMYK profiles in linked content but profiles were set to be ignored when this document was created
I often get this error when opening downloaded files.
What linked content? Which profiles are ignored. Is this a vital warning?
    Thanks,
    Ronald

Most imporant: set up color management. Synchronize color management across your applications and versions.
If you don't know how to do that, you're in really serious trouble. There's some literature on the topic. Get it and read it. You might start with this:
Adobe publishes a new Creative Suite 5/5.5 Printing Guide - Rufus Deuchler
and the manual. Look for a Lynda.com training or search the web for resources. There's some really good stuff available in German, but I don't know about the English resources (beacause our own are so luxurious).
The dialog box tells you that your settings regarding linked CMYK images were different in your other Illustrator version. You had it set to "Preserve embedded profiles", but now you've set it to "Preserve numbers". Depending on the nature of your files, your workflow, your co-workers' workflows or the printing process both settings might or might not be correct. But most probably changing the settings in the middle of working at the same file is not correct. The setting influences how colors are converted when creating the final output. So, yes, it is important.

    Hello Gabriella,
I don't have pages, but it looks like Pages must have a built in feature...

  • Can somebody help me on how to create Search help exit?

I have requirement where in i have to use search help exit in search help .Based on the value in the GET parameter id i have to extract the value in the search help can somebody help me in this.

    HI
In order to offer a meaningful input help for as many screen fields as possible, the R/3 System uses a number of mechanisms. If there is more than one such mechanism available for a field, the one that is furthest left or at the top of the above hierarchy is used.
In addition to the options described above for defining the input help of a field in the ABAP Dictionary, you can also define it in the screen field. The disadvantage, however, is that there is no automatic reuse.
With the screen event POV, you can program the input help of a field by yourself. You can adjust the design of the help to the standard help using the function modules F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST or F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST. However, you should check to see if the part of the input help that you programmed yourself should be implemented as a search help exit instead (see Appendix).
You can also attach a search help to a screen field in the Screen Painter (Module Pool programming). There are some functional restrictions on this kind of attachment as compared with attachment in the Dictionary.
You should no longer use the input checks defined directly in the flow logic of the screen, from which it is also possible to derive input helps.
The function Technical info is offered in the hit list in the menu of the right mouse key. It can be used to find out which of the specified mechanisms is being used.

  • My new I5 uploaded doubleded all the songs from my library! Please, can somebody help me showing how can I delete just the songs that was doubled?

    Hi there everybody,
My new Iphone 5 uploaded doubleded all the songs from my library! Please, can somebody help me showing how can I delete just the songs that was doubled?
Some help will be greatly appreciate.
    Thanks much!

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer?  Your iTunes library does not have an email address.  An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases.  Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID.  In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password).  That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS.  This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE:  If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).
If that's not what you mean by "changed the email address on my account," please post back with more details.
