How do U resize a window in start up

Im making an applet that draws somehting and my drawing is bigger than my applet i want to only view it in a n applet viewer so how do i resize the window automaticly so at start up i get a big enough window to fit my drawing in.

try n add this in ur html file.

An applets width and height properties are only available in Internet Explorer 4 - and then they are only read only.
The only possible way is to trap the resize event using the documents onResize event handler in Netscape Navigator 4 and Internet Explorer 4 to reload the page:

I agree it is a very bad and wasteful design especially for users on small laptop screens.
You can drag it to whatever shape you want from the bottom left corner.
Click on the paintbrush to make the Format side panel disappear. However you will need to use that side panel for most formatting.

I'm trying to reinstall windows 7 starter on my MSI U180 notebook, but i've downloaded it multiple times and created an bootable ISO on a USB but each time i get an error saying there are missing files. Is the a special version of win7 starter i need to down load for this devise?

No special version required for the U180. You may want to check your source of Windows 7 starter. Is the file corrupt? Or the download was not complete?

How can i show multiple windows on start?

Hi everybody:
I have an application that need to show 5 windows at the same
time when the application is started. The 5 windows are seen but
the canvas is not shown, so, i see 5 windows with no elements. I
have tried with SHOW_WINDOW built in, but it only shows the
window, not the canvas. If i use the GO_ITEM built in, in one
item from each block i can only see the last block visited.
Is there any property that i must change in canvases? (the
raise on entry is in "yes"); i have to do anything else?

Windows have a property called "Primary Canvas". This sets what
canvas should be shown in a window by default.
Typically Forms knows what to display because the cursor is in
an item, the item is on a canvas, the canvas is required to set
its Window...you see the window with everything in it.
The window property primary canvas for when you do a show_window
and do not navigate to anything in the window.

Hi, not sure about your question, but, I would like to say
that I think the design work in the site is really good. I do know
that in Dreamweaver, this sort of issue would be handled by using a
javascript in 'Behaviours', maybe the same exists in Flash. Can't
check as I am on Flash 7 and would guess you are 8 or 9.

There are times that I rather not use a mouse, my question is How do I resize a window or drag it to make it larger not using a mouse but using the touch-pad and keyboard.
I usually put the mouse pointer in the bottom right hand conner of the window where the little white box and I hold down the left mouse button and drag it to the size I want.

Resizing application windows started from Start Screen

Hi
For the applications that are already loaded onto the Start Screen how can you resize them once they are started.
For example, I launched Calculator from the Start Screen because I wanted to tally some numbers in another application that I had started from my Desktop. However, Calculator occupies the entire screen. The only resizing options are to split left or right
but the Start Screen is visible in the space vacated and not the original application containing the numbers.
I can add a shortcut to the Desktop for calc.exe, but have noticed this behaviour for all the applications on the Start Screen. I don't see how this is useful because I need to work with several windows open at the same time (which is what Windows xxx
is all about).
Can anyone help me with this, please?

Do you mean we need to use the Calculator App and Desktop at the same time?
In fact we could use this calculator. It can be used in desktop and located in the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories.
If you want to use the calculator app, we could refer to the following steps:
1. Resize it to split left and then click the right side.
2. Click the desktop in start screen, we will get the two split parts like this.

How do I pin a firefox site to the Windows 8 start screen?

I just got a new AIO with windows 8; not may favorite thing but I'm learning.
I use Firefox as my browser exclusively but Window 8 help, of course, won't explain how to pin sites through other browsers. I had to set up my desktop on my start screen so I can open Firefox from there and then I can start browsing with Firefox - but there has to be an easier way....I've tried to search through the Firefox support but I'm an accountant, not a techie and this is getting very frustrating. lol I hope someone can explain to me how to do this. And in very small words please - remember I'm bean-counter. :)

That does not work, actually. I've ben using QT PRo for ages, and ever since version 0, it NEVER saved or remembered my preferences. Once I set my preferences up, it does remember it for the current windows session. But once I restart my machine everything is back to square one. It's been like that for years, actually.
