How do you end a list?

This tool is so easy to use I feel like the village idiot for even asking, but I can't seem to stop making list items once I have started. I made a list with a few items in it, and all I want to do is start a normal paragraph after the list. No matter what I try, I can't make a non-list item. The "skip" feature makes my paragraph >look< like it's not part of the list -- no number or bullet or checkbox -- but once I hit Enter, the next para is clearly back to being part of the list - it has the number/bullet/checkbox. I tried the online help but didn't see the answer there. Thanks for any pointers.

I neglected to mention that you can only turn off the list property of a paragraph if the selected paragraph(s) include the first or last paragraph in the list. If your selection doesn't include the first or last paragraph, you'll find that the icon is dimmed and not toggle-able. In this case, you can use the skip button to turn off the list label.
Or you can use the New List icon (far right in the List pleat) to split the list and turn that list paragraph into the first paragraph of the new list. And then you can turn off its list property.
Background -- The model that Buzzword uses for lists requires all paragraphs between the first and last members of the list to be members of that list, as well. The skipping feature allows paragraphs to be list members without getting the list labels, but in all other ways, they inherit the properties of the list, such as indents and line spacing.

One of the options you will see to print is "CD Jewel Case Insert". That's just what you want!

I don't know of any method on Pages for iOS other than copy the text and paste into a Table and see if you can sort it there, then copy it back out.

I use a lot of calendars in Calendar to organize events. I am trying to consolidate these calendars because I have been having weird issues such as two calendars being linked to each other in a strange way. I want to move events into new calendars and delete the old calendars once I am certain they are empty. To do this, I want to be able to list all events in a given calendar. (Not page through month by month.) You used to be able to do this by searching for "." This no longer works. How can I get a list of all events in a single calendar?

If you are moving from an On My Mac Calendar to another On My Mac calendar or to an iCloud Calendar, you can use this AppleScript:

When I tried to move from an iCloud Calendar, Calendar got a server error.
Further testing and it will move to an iCloud, but not iCloud to iCloud. Also, it doesn't move, although it looks that way. Once you close and open Calendar, it has the events in both locations.

How do you end screen sharing without disconnecting

How do you go back to the regular video chat once you've started screen sharing. it seems that closing the window only disconnects me. I'd like to revert back to the regular video chat once I'm finished with screen sharing.

Text chats are on a completely different port and will not be effected by dropping an AV chat.
In fact doing things the other way you can Video to a Buddy then Log out of the Buddy List that the Buddy is in and go Offline.
The A/V chats are Peer to Peer once connected. (except for Video through AIM Servers in iChat 5)
In the two years we have had Leopard and iChat 4's Screen Sharing we have not discovered a way to get a Screen Share to go back to the A/V type chat it was having before.
iChat Help offers no info on it working this way.

How do you reorganize a list?

What is the best way to reorganize a list? For example, you have a list with three items and you want to move item two up to number one and have number one become item number two. (In many word processors you can just select the item or place the cursor on the item and move it up or down the list.) You help is most appreciated.

I'd like to create a list that can be scrolled via the actual list contents like iPhone apps.
How do you go about setting this up in Catalyst?
I could make the whole area the 'track' and put the
returned array of objects on top of the track but then
the 'thumb' needs to be the returned array of objects
as well.

Hi Truce,
It may be tricky to use a scrollbar for this. If you think about iPhone-like behavior (or Acrobat-like, perhaps ), you want dragging downward to move the content downward. But when you drag a scrollbar thumb downward, the content moves upward instead. You can "cheat" your way past this by using the transform tool to rotate the vertical scrollbar 180 degrees upside-down.
However, you may still have a few other problems with using a scrollbar. First, having a thumb over top of your list items may make it hard or impossible to click items (without dragging) to select them. Also, when dragging, the items won't move up/down at the same speed as the mouse. This is because the scrollbar's drag range covers the entire list if you move the mouse the full length of the scrollbar... whereas with iPhone-style dragging, moving the mouse this distance will just scroll you one "screenful."

You can print a list by selecting a group and and using "File > Print".
In the Print dialoge you can select a print stile for the list and and check, which attributs you want to have included. Only the photo is not selectable, sorry.
use one of the styles "Pocket Addressbook" or "Lists".
