You are expected to delete or overwrite the "Type to enter Text" content in the Text Boxes. If you don't have that phrase selected when you begin typing, it will remain with your added text. You can use Find and Replace to search and destroy the phrases in your finished document. In the future make sure the phrase is gone as you build your text box content so you don't have to find it later.

I had this same problem as well. The original file had been converted from PPT, and it just got to a point where, while opening, the beach ball would just spin and spin and...
I followed some advice I saw posted somewhere, as follows:
1) Delete everything that is inside of Library/Caches and also ~Library/Caches; i.e., the one is accessed through "Macintosh HD:Library:Caches" and the other, ~Library:Caches folder is accessed by going to the Finder's "Go" menu and holding down the Option key. Delete everything inside each of these Caches folders.
2) Restart the machine and hold down all 4 keys of Command + Option + P + R while starting up, until you hear two bell chimes. After the 2nd bell chime you can let go. This resets the parameter something or other.
Open up Keynote and open yoru file. Should work. Worked for me.

Yesterday I imported some raw photos from PSE9 to iPhoto 09 (version 8.1.2) in tiff format. Most of the pictures came out fine, but the ones that had alpha channel on looked more like negatives. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Alpha channels of masked areas are not supported or rendered properly by iPhoto. Alpha layers of selected areas don't seem to be affected.

When you click on Submit, the feedback appears with the message to click anywhere or press Y. Is that what you are talking about? If you are talking about a real double-click, something must be wrong in your file. And which version are you using?

If the content is on an external drive, but your library knows where to find it, then it should all work. Connect your device, make some selections for what to put on it, and sync. How do you get multiple screens on the iPad with iOS 5.1.1? We just upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, and we see no way to be able to open multiple screens at once. Before, there was a small button in the upper portion of any window. That button would take you from a particular window to the place where multiple windows are open at once. Does it do it differently? Is there a special setting button that we have missed? Thanks!
One more thing: We are only talking about Safari.

I don't think I've seen a way to have separate Safari screens visible at the same time. The small thumbnails were deleted in one of the iOS updates, and replaced with a multiple "Tab" system.
You can open an additional screen in a new "tab" by pressing and holding on a link until a new menu comes up.
