How do you stop Safari from removing last download when it's of the same file type? (e.g., when I download a new pps file I can no longer open a pps file that I've just downloaded)
When I download a .pps file, I can open it from the downloads and everything is great. But if I try to download another one, then I can no longer access the previous download from the download bar. This is very annoying to me as I download and open dozens of these files every day. Is there some way that I can display all the files in the download bar and not just the last file downloaded of a certain type (a way to get Safari to stop hiding the .pps files)
To prevent Firefox from displaying form autocomplete suggestions, you can turn off that feature using the about:config page.
In the address bar, type or paste '''about:config''' and tap the Enter/Return key.
I suggest bookmarking this for easier future access.
In the search box, type or paste '''formf''' and tap the Enter/Return key.
Scroll down to '''browser.formfill.enable''' and tap the Toggle button to switch it from true to false.

Go to iPhoto>Preferences...>Accounts...and remove the MobileMe account. Then go to System Preferences...>MobileMe, and sign out. -

Go to Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab then click Show Cookies
Type yahoo in the serach field then click Remove All > Done
Quit then relaunch Safari.
Try accessing your Yahoo mail account.
FYI... there is rarely a sure fire correct response for third party web based email client software. Often takes time consuming troubleshooting. -

How do you import photos from a library on an external drive to the current library running in iPhoto? I have a few different pictures in each library and would like to have all my pictures in both libraries. The library on the external drive is my backup. I would appreciate any help.
Depends on exactly what you want to do.
Just move some of the Photos? FIle -> Export from one and export the shots to the Finder. Then import them to the other.

If you have Aperture 3.3 or later and iPhoto 9.3 or later you can merge libraries with Aperture.
Otherwise the only way to merge Libraries is with the paid ($20) version of iPhoto Library Manager -

I can no longer open PSD Photoshop files on Preview
I can no longer open PSD Photoshop files on Preview since I installed Snow Leopard on my White MacBook. Whenever I double click a PSD file, it opens in Photoshop.
I used to force PSD files to be opened with Preview by "Get Info" (command + I ) and then Changing the option "open with" to Preview.
I also tried draggin the PSD file onto Preview, nothing happened.
Did Snow Leopard stop PSD support, or I'm missing something??No, I can still open psd files in Preview, no problem, from both Preview's "Open" dialog and by drag 'n drop onto its icon. It opens simple psd files without error, files with an alpha channel may or may not open correctly, layers will display the topmost layer, if that layer has a mask it displays incorrectly. In short, nothing seems to have changed.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. Also, try creating a new user account on your mac, and log in to that, to see if you continue to have the same problems. -
How do you stop ink from leaking in HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless
I have run through many cartridges of ink and have found that the blue ink is leaking. How do I stop this from happening? It is leaking in the tray where the ink cartridges are held. I don't see a kink in the lines and the printheads look fine.
Also the printer states it is out of blue ink even though I've put in two new cartridges.
