How does ESSO LM track a checkbox during Log On event

Hi,
We have a requirement where ESSO is used to login to a web site which has username, password and a third field. The third field is a checkbox and we want ESSO to check it automatically so that the login can happen seamlessly. Unless the checkbox is checked, the login button doesn't become active, so currently though ESSO injects the username and password, the checkbox stays unchecked and thus the login button is disabled. The user has to manually check the checkbox, the login button becomes enabled, then click on the login button to enter the site.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Skinnert,
Your program has many deficiencies that will make it very difficult to get your program to execute correctly.  The architecture is linear and hard to follow its flow.  Adding to the issues is the lack of wire labels and comments.
The program is flawed from the first step.  You open 10 analog channels of DAQ but you are only saving a reference to the last channel opened.  It may be working by some magic of LabVIEW but not recommended.
I would like to help out but there is just too much to take in to get a good answer.  The goal of the forums to help people out.  In your case you need to simplify the code and the question you post on the forums down to a paragraph or at most two.  There is just too much for me to provide an answer.  Ask a better question and you will get a better answer.
Good luck!

  • How does DIAdem keep track of which version is active when multiple versions are installed?

I need a way to find out which version of DIAdem is active, without creating an automation reference. How does DIAdem keep track of this? I don't think it's through the registry as far as I can tell. Thanks.

    Hi,
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "version of DIAdem is active". If you are trying to reference DIAdem from an external program, you will need to use an automation reference. Besides this case, I am not sure what you are referring to.
Perhaps a short description of your application or intended use will help me point you in the right direction.

  • How does Time Machine track changes?

My Leopard upgrade got stuck with a minute to go - I had to hold down the power button to restart my Mac, but to my surprise Leopard launched and everything seemed to work fine. I set up Time Machine and it's been running without problems, backing up to my 2nd internal drive. The only problem I noticed was that a few hidden files weren't hidden - presumably it hadn't finished cleaning up after itself. So, I carried on using Leopard until today when I finally decided it might be a good idea to run the installer again. The installation completed fine, and everything is running nicely.
My question is: will time machine track any changes that have been made from re-running the installer, or does it only track changes that are made while Leopard is running? Should I switch off Time Machine, delete the backups, and start again, or will it handle these changes?

When I log back into 10.8 Mountain Lion and Time Machine does it's normal back up thing, does it recognize changes that were made to internal disks, folders, and files that were made when I was previously booted into 10.7 Lion?
    Yes.

  • How does a firewall track Udp

    Hi all
Can anyone tell me how a firewall tracks the state of a udp connection?
    Cheers

    hi carl,
the ASA has a connection table (aka session table) that is used to track all connections permitted across the device.
this table maintains information not only connection-oriented/Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) sessions, but also the active communications, whether TCP or User Datagram Protocol (UDP), or based on advanced protocol inspection capabilities.
you could verify using the command show conn or show conn detail.

  • How does firefox keep track of sites visited

When I go the page info tab while on the google home page I notice that it shows the number of times I have visited the web page even though I have cleared all cookies AND flash cookies! Where/Why is this information stored?

    Every time Firefox opened

The history, along with your bookmarks, is stored in a file called places.sqlite, which includes the date and time you last visited the site and how many times you have visited the site. The details are used by the location bar as shown in the [[location bar autocomplete]] article.
If you do not want it to remember the history details, you can change the settings in the [[Options window - Privacy panel]]

  • How does a chart track info on more than one row

As you can see by the attached graphic, I haven't had a problem until the new year hit where I need the chart to continue tracking info on two rows of data (year 2007) that continue onto another two rows of data (year 2008), and so forth into future years. Is there a way to do this with the current table, or do I need to create another table from which to build a chart.

In the example above, I removed the actual date values and created Text Labels only. This is probably why the graph is showing weird labels. The problem with Text labels are their use in an X-Y (or Scatter Graph.) Numbers needs to have a Month format for date data types. Do we need to go further with your request? For continuous lines, yes, the data needs to be formatted that way. The X-Axis values are coming from one row of data and in your original example "Feb" is only "Feb" (not Feb-07 and Feb-08).
    Regards,
    Edit:
The dark colored cells result when the graph is selected. If you want to reformat the cells you can do so by changing the cell's Font and Background colors using Inspector.

  • How does Thunderbird keep track of where it stores your messages?

I am writing a program to isolate certain messages from a messages file. Of course I can hard code the path where the messages are kept at the moment, but when the user changes it, my program will be lost.
I have looked in the registry and profile.ini file with no luck. Anyone knows the answer? Thanks.

The path to messages in Thunderbird is random just for the reason your having trouble. To make programmatic access non trivial.
As you would have observed the profiles.ini contains a path the the root of the profile.
Within the profile mail is stores in profiles\imapmail for IMAP or profiles\mail for pop
Sub folders exist for the server the mail is for, often with a numeric suffix to separate multiple accounts on the same server, or multiple attempts to set up the same account.
These folder can again contain sub folder. depending on the internal structure of folders within Thunderbird.
If the user has specified a custom location for the folder of an account, that information is stored in the prefs.js file along with all other preferences. The account the setting is for is referenced numerically. So you need to establish from the preferences what the account number is, before reading the preference for location.

  • How does iCal, or Calendar, order the display of multiple events for the same time?

I can't for the life of me figure out how iCal orders the display of multiple items at the same time.  Does anyone have a clue?  It's not alphabetical.  It's not according the the order of the calendars in the left pane.  Is it just random?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the focus lost eventhandling start a thread which does
    the actual handling.
the new thread waits for a little time (0.1 seconds)
the click event of the button checks for a thread like the one above and tells it not to execute
This way you execute the for the lost focus event only if

realy good, because it kind of relies on the ordering of threads ... but maybe it still works for you?

  • How to move sound track with video to another drive

If I want to work on a project on another Mac, I copy the iMovie Events and Projects folders to a portable drive, then drag them into the correct folders of the other Mac. (Not sure if this is the best way, but it works.) But the sound track is missing if I don't have the same songs in that Mac's iTunes. What's the best way to keep the song with the project when I transfer to another Mac?

I tried the Consolidate command, and I see how it works, copying the events or clips to another >drive. But how does the music track get transferred? I don't see it in the copied folder.
If you followed the instructions, the music track is there. It is probably in the Project file. If you right click on the RCPROJECT file, select "Show Package Contents" and see if you can spot it.
If I consolidate from one computer to a portable drive, what happens when I plug the portable >drive into another computer? Does iMovie just see the project and events on the external drive? Or >do I have to drag them to the new computer's drive? What about the music tracks? Do I have to >import them into the other computer's iTunes?
Yes, iMovie sees the external drive, and you can work on your movie. If you prefer, you could drag the RCPROJECT file to the Movies/iMovie Events Folder and then run the Consolidate command again to move everything to the new computer, but you really don't need to. It should work fine on the external drive.
The external drive must be formatted as Mac OX Extended (journaled)

To further explain, if I want to note that touches began, and then pass the event onto the scroll handler, how does one do that? Do i pass the event to the "super"? where do I send it?

The "Expert view" is a part of the new interface of Premiere Elements 11. In your version 10, you have the Timeline and the Sceneline view choices.
For now, I will assume that you are in the Timeline view where you utilize video and audio tracks and not a Filmstrip with scene slots.
I suspect that you may be after the following. Let us see.
To the right of where it shows the name "Audio 1" is a microphone icon. That represents the "Audio Display Style". There are two Audio Display Styles and you can select one or the other by toggling that microphone icon.
    a. In one instance, you will see the wave form plus a horizontal orange line which is typically the Volume Rubberband for Volume adjust. This Display Style has a light green background.
    and
    b. In the other case, you will see a dark horizontal line, no wave form. That dark line is on a light green background.
I suspect you are at "b". Are you aware that "a" exists.
If you want a really blown up version of "a" to look at, you could separate the audio from the video, double click the audio to open the Preview Windows, and then scale up the Preview Window.
We will be watching for your follow up to see if we are getting in sync.
    Thanks.

  • How does playing track from a server mounted drive look to IT department

How does playing a file in iTunes that resides on a mounted server drive look to IT department. I'd like to play some tracks I saved on our Xserve. It is our (Marketing) server and I am the Admin, but I was curious how the traffic looks to IT. This server is attached to the company wide network but only Marketing has access. Will playing the file show up to IT as streaming audio or just appear as file activity?

It will just appear as file activity.

  • Are Hyper-V 2012R2 checkpoints Application data consistent? How does it use now VSS during checkpoints creation?

Are Hyper-V 2012R2 checkpoints Application data consistent? How does it now use VSS during checkpoints creation?
I read the article http://www.aidanfinn.com/?p=15759 that now WS2012 R2 Hyper-V changed how it performs backups.
That is unofficial info.  I can't find any info about that in msdn, but that is critical. That is about data integrity.
    Is this true?
Does this mean that we may not use VSS in Hyper V server backup application any more? Will Hyper-V 2012R2 host (WM is running) when i am creating a checkpoint,
call VSS to only flush VSS Writers during this process for target child VM to make application data crash consistent state? And the volume shadow copy wn't be used? Only vhdx +avhdx witch will merged later, right?

There are a couple levels to this.
If VSS is there, VSS is used (just as before).  But there is a bit more happening around it than simply placing the VM in a saved state.
However, if VSS is not there (in the VM) then the behavior is slightly different (this is really to support Linux VMs that don't support VSS) - and still achieve a good VM backup.
In another blog post I see it described this way:
Online backup for Linux VMs – even though there’s no VSS support in Linux, the Microsoft guys have managed to find a way to create consistent backups of running Linux VMs, by doing what’s essentially called a “filesystem freeze” by briefly stopping
all disk I/O inside the VM until the host creates a VSS snapshot of the VM on the host (thus getting a file-consistent backup with zero downtime) – once the snapshot is done, disk I/O is resumed and then the actual file copy process starts
    Flemming shows the process here:
    http://flemmingriis.com/changes-in-hyper-v-backup-in-2012-r2/
If you are calling VSS to perform a backup - nothing has changed.  The only thing that has changed is the 'how it happens' , not the 'what you get' and 'how you call it'
This way if you call VSS to perform a backup - you get a good one, no matter the OS in the VM, nor its support for VSS.
