I load object from *.wrl using loader. I want get size of this object. How do it???

The method I use is the following:
- Find all Shape3D objects within your loaded scene.
- For each Shape3D object extract it's bounds with:
BoundingSphere bSphere = (BoundingSphere)Shape3D.getBounds() ;
- Extract the bounds radius with:
bSphere.getRadius() ;
You can also do this with a BoundingBox for more accuracy.
Remember, though, that the "size" is completely arbitrary, unless you know the measurements and scaling used in the original scene.

Maybe I was a little harsh ...or lazy to type anything. I don't think there are any efficient ways to count the number of rows in a ResultSet(for scrollable, forward only, etc)
You could do the following:
rs= statement.executeQuery("select count(column1) from table1 where column1<100");
rs.next();
long recordCount = rs.getLong(1);
before executing your real query
rs = statement.executeQuery("select column1 from table1 where column1<100");
while rs.next.....

That's a bit ambiguous...
If you are asking about the size of the object reference in memory, then it is defined in the JVM specification.
I suspect you are asking about how much memory a given object takes up - that's going to be a bit tricky, because objects point to other objects, etc...
Rather than trying to come up with a solution to the question, I'd like to ask exactly why you need this - that might help the forum to come up with a solution to the real problem. Sound good?

I'm trying to figure out how to get the count of objects in my near cache (from c++ client). Knowing the size of the near cache is a key factor when optimizing configurations for performance.
However if I call size() on the cache handle I get the count of objects in the cache (ie the cluster). How can I get a count of objects in the near cache?

It may not be ideal, but I think you may be able to infer the size by using the HeapAnalyzer (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15357_01/coh.360/e15728/classcoherence_1_1lang_1_1_heap_analyzer.html) facility, specifically the "class" based HeapAnalyzer. Its Snapshot representation http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15357_01/coh.360/e15728/classcoherence_1_1lang_1_1_class_based_heap_analyzer_1_1_snapshot.html provides a mapping between class name and ClassStats (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15357_01/coh.360/e15728/classcoherence_1_1lang_1_1_class_based_heap_analyzer_1_1_class_stats.html) which provides information on how many instances of a given class type are in memory. Note the reported counts are process wide but if your key or value type are distinct you may be able to infer your answer. I realize this is rather complex, my only other suggestion would be to just make some guesses on size and see how they effect performance.

how do you get similar color for objects in different pictures
I have a prodject that i'm working on and i need to edit several images at once (preferabley) so that they are the same color. They are wooden cupboards and i need all the wood looking the same colour. In light room you can edit a group of images at the same time hence the colours are the same . Is this possible in Elements ? If so how do i do this ?
I have tried duplicating layers and it just replaces the whole image, it seems to work using levels layers but not the other layers ... I have 30 more images to do and would ideally not like to adjust all the images manually ? I dont mind doing minor tweaks. Essentially all the images where taken with the same camera and lighting and lens's ...

You could try using the raw converter. Open one file and edit it (File>Open, pick the image and choose Camera Raw as the format before you click Open). Then open the next image and click the little four-lined square on the upper right side of the ACR window and choose Previous Conversion from the flyout menu.

View>grid allows one to bring up a non-printable grid which is useful for orientation. The grid can be set up with subdivisions to suit via Edit>preferences>guides and grid
You can open a duplicate layer at the top of the stack, then using the brush tool create a straight line for visual projection. The layer can be deleted at any time. To create a straight line, click on the begin point, hold down the shift key, and click on the end point

But I've got a problem with it- How to measure the size of an object that was written by myself in byte or bit in Java? Please help me with it. Thank you very much.

Example: I start my FM. I can see in the ABAP STACK the variable I need. I can see the object; I could use to get my variable. I need to use it in my FM; however I need to reference it in the run time. How do I do that?
Is there a method I can use for reading ABAP STACK?
Do I just use command: get reference of u2026?

Ah, you mean you want to access a variable from another program in the call stack, yes? You can do this using field symbols, but please don't try to change a value while doing this, it could really screw things up.
this example, is using two programs, where the second is accessing variables of the first program. Basically just notice that we are using the program name and the variable name when assigning the field symbol.

We can get it using some calculations:
1. SQL%ROWCOUNT attribute will fetch you number of rows returned in a SQL statement.
Problem-->Now you need to get the size of 1 row.
Solution-->
Step 1.We can get size of table from dba_segment data dictionary.
Select block_size from dba_segemnts where segment name like '%YOURTABLE%';
Step2 . Get count of rows in your table
Select count(*) from YOUR_TABLE
Step 3.
Get size of 1 row--> Divide result in Step1 by result in Step 2.
Required result--> multiple result in step3 with SQL%ROWCOUNT..

How to stop changing stroke weights when changing the size of an object in CS5 on Windows 7?

I'm not sure what I did to make this happen or how to change it back, but for some reason when I change the size of an object/line it changes the stroke weight as well. (For example, if I drew an ellipse with stroke weight 2 pt, and then increased the size the stroke weight would be 2.856 pt or some such number instead of 2 pt.) Does anyone know how to change this back?
