THIS IS NOT WORKING ...SHOWING AN ERROR CANNOT FIND MENU ITEM .This error means you are not giving the correct menu name and item name.
Open the menu and select the menu which you want to enable/disable dynamically then press F3 (for calling object navigator). You will find the menu name and item name (selected). Note that menu name and item name then use as below...

Forms 6i client/server? Use the HOST command to call the report. Since a Jasper report is just a call to a url, it will be something like:
v_url := '<your url to the report>';
host ('cmd /c start '||v_url);If it's web Forms 6i it even easier. Just use web.show_document(<url>).

How to open a jasper report (html URL)

Hello,
currently we are testing the jasper report engine. We are already able to open such a report from forms by a forms personalization.
Now we want to run a concurrent report where the output should be a link to a jasper report.
For example:
I start the request "open jasper report" with parameter "001". After successful finishing the request should give me a link like "http://jasper/myreport&parameter=001" which will be opened in a new browser tab.
Well, is it possible to open a URL by using a concurrent request?

How to change Makefile file name in sun studio for linux 11?

Greetings,
For historical reasons, our makefiles are called Make.bld
Sun Studio refuses to accept these as makefiles.
It'd be a big pain to modify our entire build system to take makefile as the name.
Is there a way to instruct sun studio to accept a different filename for makefiles ?

There is no supported way of getting the Sun Studio IDE (or NetBeans) to recognize
Make.bld as a Makefile. However, the solution Nik pointed out with a .nbattrs file will
work.
Here is a complete file which, if copied to each directory containing a Make.bld file
will work. However, if the directory already contains a .nbattrs file you should edit
the existing one and add the <fileobject>...</fileobject> lines rather than overwriting
the entire file.

I should warn you that the next release of the Sun Studio IDE will no longer use
.nbattrs files and you'll need a different solution. A preliminary version of the next
release is currently available by downloading Sun Studio Express 3. The IDE is
significantly better than the current one! You also get a lot of the same features
by downloading NetBeans 5.5 with the C/C++ Development Pack.

Dear Experts,
i developed a pdf report using jasperreports . in this reports i used a query string where dont have any parameter, now i want to add a parameter between querystring. how can i do this?? (i know another solution and that is using jrDatasource) in this context i dont want to do this beacuse then i have to do it again from begining.

One 'simple' way is by using the DBMS_SCHEDULER db package and the procedure CREATE_JOB(....) using as job_type the value 'EXECUTABLE'...
Read for further info in 'PL/SQL Packages and Types Reference'.
If you have access to OEM ... you can configure this there using wizard.....
Other way is to use the External Procedure call capabiblity of Oracle DB Server...:

Unless I have totally misunderstood your question, I think you have posted this question in the wrong forum. This forum is dedicated to developer questions about JSR 208 (Java Business Integration), a specification from the JCP that describes a service-oriented integration architecture. In this realm, integration means getting separate applications and messaging systems to interoperate, when they were never designed to do so. Your question sounds like you want to install particular technologies into jboss; this is a very different use of the term "integration".

i have one test.jar and one test.jrxml file How does the code load the .jrxml file?
A File("test.jrxml") approach would be a
problem for web start.
The best way is to put it also on the application's
classpath (probably by putting it in a Jar it and
adding the jar to the classpath), then use getResource()
to get an URL pointing to it.
