How hide the value in combobox

I add the vales and discrption to comboBox ,but I need to hide the value
please help me

Unforunately I do not think this can be done.
You can set what the combobox will display after selecting from the drop down by setting oItem.DisplayDesc = true
But to hide the values in the actual drop down list is not possible as far as I know - using the SDK at least. I know some combos are displayed like that by SAP, but this is not exposed to the UI.
The only thing I can think of is a workaround:
1. Move the existing combo box (combo1) off the form - set it to left=10000 or something
2. Add a new combo box (combo2) where it was
3. Add valid values to the new combo box (combo2); use the descriptions from the original combo (combo1) and set the value to be a number
4. When someone selects a validvalue in the new combo (combo2), select the corresponding value in the original combo (combo1)
This way, your databinding is preserved & to the user it looks nice and tidy.
If you do not want to do something like this, I do not think you can do it.

How is the "Top Downloads" list calculated?

Does any one know how the "Top Downloads" on the iTunes U site is determined? The "Top Downloads" list has some correspondence with our weekly iTunes U report (I'm looking at the "Tracks" sheet in the report), but they're not nearly identical.

I don't know how "Top Downloads" is calculated exactly, so this is just a guess…
iTunes U usage data is held for the last sixty days. This corresponds to 8 weeks and 4 days. The weekly usage stats spreadsheets, on the other hand, go back just 4 weeks. In other words, if you request it, Apple can tell you what was going on with your site 60 days ago…even though the spreadsheet you get "this week" will only show activity for the past month. The admin guide also hints that "Top Downloads" is re-calculated one or more times each day, likely using the past 60 days' data.

How hide the slide

I have created the click interactive using click box option. There are 3 clickboxes and when clicking each click box it jumps to 3 respective slides. Example for slide 2 i have 3 click boxes, when I click on the click box 1 it jumps to slide 3 and clicking on click boxes 2 and 3 it jumps to slide 4 and 5. This interactive is ok for me. But When i publish the couse with the default progress bar with next and previous button, clicking on the next button I need to hide the slides 3, 4 and 5 and from slide 2 it should jump to slide 6 , is there a way to do this.

You can actually do this using custom variables and Conditional Advanced Actions that are triggered On Slide Enter.
Basically you set up the variables to track whether or not slides should be available to visit. Then your Conditional Actions are set to jump over the current slide and go to the next slide if the relevant variable indicates it should not be visited.

If you implement the viewer yourself, there is an SDK call on disabling the print button.

Hide the 'to do' list...

i can't believe i can't figure this out...
i DON'T want to use 'to do' in apple mail.
how do i remove it from the sidebar??
(feel like i am missing something simple...)

From the Mail menu (top of your screen), select View and then Customize Toolbar. At the top of the page that opens, you will see a copy of your toolbar. Drag the ToDo button out of that copy. It should go poof and will now be gone from your Mail Toolbar.
Sorry, these is not what you asked. After playing around with this, I have now added To Do on my sidebar, whereas it was not there before. I will see if I can get rid of it.

How to get the iChat Buddy List to automatically appear on the Desktop

On my friends computer iChat is set to launch whenever he logs into his account, but the Buddy List does not appear on his Desktop. So when I see him online there is no green video camera mark next to his name.
If I want to do a screen share with him, I have to ask him to go to the iChat icon towards the right side of the Menubar (the round 'speech ballon') and click on Show AIM Buddy List at the bottom. Once he has the Buddy List on his Desktop, I can screen share with him.
Surely there must be a way for the Buddy List to always appear on the Desktop when logging into his computer... Can anyone help out?

Interesting one.
If I were telling you how to create this it would be like this:-
1) Go to System Preferences > Accounts > Your account and enter iChat in the Login items. (Makes iChat launch at Computer Start Up)
2) to Hide the Window (Buddy List(s) ) at Start Up click the Red Button to close the Window/Buddy List before Quitting.
This will cause the next Start Up to not show th Buddy List.
How you make the Buddy List appear after that depends on how you bring it in to View.
NOTES:
Some Windows in iChat from Buddy List to the Preferences to th Actual Chat Windows will appear in the places you left them for the most part.
The Exceptions are Incoming Invites.
This means the Buddy List will be were you left it, your Outgoing Invite/Preview whilst waiting for Connection will always be where the last outgoing Video Chat window was.
Using the Red Button on a Open Chat Window will end the Chat (All types).
However doing it to a Buddy List only Hides it.
In addition to this using the Item (or the Keystrokes) from the Window Menu of iChat for a Buddy list when it is On view will Hide it (or Bring it back if Hidden)
The Show AIM option in the Menu Bar icon's drop down is a two edge thing as it shows All Buddies (Available ones) from all AIM Buddy lists if you have more than one (Apple names are also AIM Names in this case).
Does he want to change this Behaviour ?
He would be better off using the iChat Window menu (or Keystrokes) after he has clicked the icon in the Dock to bring the app to the Front so he can access the Menu bar with ichat in it.
He could also click and Hold the icon for iChat in the DOCK and select the Account Name there. This, if I remember correctly, will have the same effect as presenting the Buddy List from the Menu Bar icon (it will be hidden at Next Start Up)

I can see how you do that when using the 'normal' emailing system from my mailing box, but not when working from the contact application (the 'book' on the bottom icon bar with the @ on it)....

If I open a folder in Finder list it hides the original list. How do I fix this?

If I open a drive in the Finder and (using the triangles) I can show folders, subfolders and files.
Business as usual.
But in Mavericks, if I open a folder from that list, it hides the list that I opened it from.
I used to be able to open a folder and have the original folders and files still there.
And the opened folder.
Now the original disappears and I have to press "back,"
I want both items open, like in 10.6
Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is the resume feature of Lion. The last state of the application is saved when quitting (i.e last pictures viewed in Preview, last videos viewed in Quicktime etc).
You can switch it off for Preview by copy and pasting the following in to the terminal application
defaults write com.apple.Preview NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -bool false

How can I hide the Radio Botton in the Source List?

When I go to preferences I have two Choices to show, videos and Party Shuffle. I thought there used be a choice for the Radio button. Any suggestions on how to hide the radio button?

2) Click on the Parental tab.
3) Check "Disable radio".
That should hide the radio button.

How do I delete uninstalled Apps from the iPhone app list that is shown inside iTunes on my PC after sychronizaton?

To clarify and to not receive the answers of those who doesn't read more than 2 lines of a post: I am not asking how can I delete backups to free space in iCloud nor how to hide the purchase history!!! those things I already know...
to be clearer please let me explain what I mean by "list inside the iTunes of my PC". To access the list to which I am reffering you must take this steps:
1) Connect the iPhone to the PC. This should open iTunes if not already opened and activate the synchronization between iPhone and PC.
2) After syncronization and eventual backup in the iTunes window on the top right side it appears the tab "iPhone".
3) Click said tab "iPhone" to see its content. In the top bar you can see 9 tabs: "Summary", "Info", "Apps", "Music", "Movies", "TV Shows", "Books", "Photos" and "On This iPhone".
4) Click the 3rd tab, the one named "Apps", in this window on the left side you have the full list of the apps and on the right side you can see how these apps are arranged inside the device (inside home screens and folders).
I am referring to this particular list, the one on the left side of this page. See, I ricently run out of space in my iCloud so I decided tidy things up. I deleted all of the old backups both form iCloud and from PC and I hid all of the Apps that I no longer use from my purchase history.
now, the point is, every time I go to this particular list I can still find all of the apps, even those uninstalled from the device and removed from the purchase history...
In this list the apps that are still installed on my divece have got the "remove" button at its side and those which are not have got the "install" button... my point is that I went to great lengths to clean everything and still I can't seem to find a way to remove unwanted apps from this particular list...
I do suspect that it is because I have to restore some registry inside the iPhone itself... The point is that I don't want these apps to appear on this list anymore but I don't know how to clear it... Any help? Have I been clear?

That list includes all the apps that you installed to your device directly from iTunes on the computer, or which were purchased on the iOS device and subsequently transferred to iTunes on the computer.
If you right click on any item in that list and choose "Show in Windows Explorer" it will open your iTunes application installer directory on your computer, which should be:
C:\Users\User\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications
In there are all your saved application installers (*.ipa files). You need to delete those actual installer bundles and then make sure to NOT allow the "transfer purchased content" when you sync or backup in iTunes (as that will just put them back on your hard drive).
One caveat to removing those, is that if you ever wish to keep a specific release of a particular app, and the developer replaces the iTunes/App store version with something else, your sole source for your older version will be your own stored copy of it. So for example, when PDF expert released their iOS 7 update, and charged everyone full price for it, if you wished to keep using the previous version on your own devices, then you needed to keep a copy of the installer on your own computer as that older version is no longer available in the store front.
