Hi guys, im new in abap, so i need your help, some one can tell me how i can print a smartform?, what functions and parameters i need?, if you can send me an example code it realy helps me.

How to print multiple Smartform Templates

Good day Gurus,
I have 5 Smartform templates combined in one program. During printing if 1 data for each template is available, The pop-up screen also appears 5 times for me to print the templates. My question is how can I print the 5 templates using 1 pop-up screen. What I want is after pressing the PRINT button, all of the templates will automatically print.
Note that P_V_CONTRACTTYPE varies depending on the template to be used. That's why this procedure appear 5 times also.
For the controls, these are my inputs.

How to Print the smartform repeatedly

Hello Friends,
Let me say, In my selection screen I am giving the label count as 5 and execute, I get a print options popup window where I can mention how many copies I need to print. If I mention 2 here, then I should get 2 sets of 5 labels to be printed. i.e, totally, 10 labels has to be printed. Could anyone please help me out how to do this in smartform.

you are right, Output_options-TDCOPIES is for number of copies. But, here I have one more count, i.e., the label count. Let me say that I give the label count as 3 and Output_options-TDCOPIES = 1. Then it should print 3 labels for 1 time copy. Similarly 6 labels for 2 times copy. You got my problem.

the question is that I want to call two smartforms sf1 and sf2, how to use one print program(I use print program to call them) or some other ways to call sf1 and after call sf1 I need to call sf2, finally they are printed one after one! thank you in advance!

You have to call the smartforms one after the other and you have to avoid the pop up that comes while printing the smartforms

How to print multiple smartforms ( 2 or 3 SM ) in one page serially .

My requirement is - I want bank-branch wise smartforms that too serially one after another . Depending on space of page it should print no. of smartforms on pages upto the last smartform.
for example
smartform1 takes only 10 lines .
smartform2 takes only 15 lines.
and 1st page has 30 lines.
then smartform1 & smartform2 should get printed on the same 1st page serially one after another.
And if smartform3 has 25 LInes then it should printed on next page alone and smartform4 on next page and so on,.
Right now I am getting smartform1 on page1 ,
                                     smartform2 on page2,
                                     smartform3 on page3
                                     correctly branch-wise.
So how to obtain the above requirement , can ANYBODY tell me ?

Hi,
I am sorry, I use wrong word. Similarly like Protect.. end protect there is a same concept like PAGE PROTECTION in smartforms.
So you can use that. PAGE PROTECTION work exactly as Protect.. end protect in script.
You can achieve this functionality through style also ( Just check checkbox of PAGE PROTECTION and add that style in ur loop).
So it will work..
No need of triggering smartforms multiple times. Put ur logic, as if 1 loop will act as 1 smartform and use PAGE PROTECTION and when 2nd time loop will be triggered, will print as 2nd smartform, So you might be able to achive your functionality...

How to print the smartform as in the data of tablecontrol...?

Hi,
1.I create 2 tabs in Modulepool Programming.
2.In First Tab, I enter the data and when i click the SAVE button the data should be saved in my custom table ZDILEEP.
3.In Second Tab,I put an Tablecontrol and DISPLAY the data what i have to save in first tab and i do 3 operations as DELETE,UPDATE,ADD A RECORD.
4. I Create a button in Application Toolbar as FORM,whenever i click this button the SMARTFORM will be triggered.
5.In SmartForm, I put an TableControl and display the data and i put SUM of SALARY.
6.Now My Requirement is At run time, if i add a record or update a record that should be displayed in smartform,
without clicking the pushbuttons UPDATE,ADD A RECORD i.e. without using custom table ZDILEEP the data
should be displayed in smartform as of Tablecontrol.
where I want to write these code....? and what code i want 2 write...?
can anybody help me

see my requirment was to print TM as superscript for HLL ,already smartstyle is there, and also a character format with superscript is also defined.
then aftet HLL how it prints as superscript.
for HLL we are using another character format and for superscript we are using the another character format.
If posiible send me the code to write in smartforms

HI,
If u use templates or table,then use borders to print the horizontal lines.
Eg : Create template-->Table painter->click select pattern button->Display framed pattern->select 3rd one.it will display only horizantal lines.
if want to print horizantal line under the text, then create one paragraph or character formate with Underline in smartstyles.Use that paragraph or character to u r text element

Hi,
if i remember correct <600> is the value for bullets.
you can insert this using sap system symbols ---> select bullets (before this place your cursor where ever you want the bullets.
eg:
P1 <600> test.

Can anyone help as to how to print a tickbox in the smartform.
A tickbox is a blank checkbox with a tick in between.
The symbols <697>(Crossed checkbox) and <727>(Blank Checkbox) do not serve my user requirement.

We can also highlight the square brackets to "Bold" if required.

How to print table items in column in smartform in 4.6c version.

I want to print the items i have in columns (like name invoice number) in smartforms but when i create table in main window there no options for header footer and main area, i have created the template for header and footer but how i print the items in columns. Pls reply ASAP.

Under the Header create a Row or Line
Under the Row create a Cell and Under that Cell create a text field
In that text you can write what ever field name u want to write

How to print the barcode in a smartform satisfying specific condition

I have a requirement where I need to print the barcode System Bar code = BC_93
satisfying the following requirement:
The Bar code is made up of the concatenation of code1 , dash character
and code2. The two codes ( that is some field in a custom table) should be
eight char long each (put leading zero if the length of the code is shorter).
This barcode shall be printed always apart from:
a) code1 material type is ZCPF
b )Is a combi order, with no code2 stored in storage location abc

To Create a Bar code prefix:
1) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
<C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.

Detailed information about SAP Barcodes
A barcode solution consists of the following:
- a barcode printer
- a barcode reader
- a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.
