How Identify Approvers in Incident Management by Location
Hi
Currently we are finding the list of employee assigned to the location and then we are checking for role name from AGR_USERS table based on the role name we are forwarding workitem
In Incident Management, there are a different level of approvers ,
Ex
Location 1
Emp1 - Supervisor
Emp2 - Manager
Location 2
Emp5 - Supervisor
Emp6 - Manager
Location n
EmpX - Supervisor
EmpY - Manager
is there is any standard way to find whenever any incident is created for the location he is supervisor and manager?
is there is any way to maintain approval levels in location>

Hello Rakesh,
it is the defined standard behavior in the Solution Manager 7.1 that the Message Processor should not be the one to confirm the message.
How this can be changed is described in SAP note 1755271 - Message Processor cannot change the incident status to Confirmed or Withdrawn. A BAdI implementation has to be deactivated.
Also SCN discusion http://scn.sap.com/thread/2120567 is about disabling this behaviour and might be helpful for you.

I think we will use all these tables and there is a relationship between all.

OuchenI believe you are talking about defining BIN's (locations) within a Warehouse.
This is quite possible and has been explained / discussed on this Forum a few times in the past. Though I am completely clear on how you would like to implement this I could give you some guidelines..
Creating a @location UDT is correct to maintain list of warehouse locations
UDF in Items - Warehouses (Item Master ..Inventory Data Tab..Rows)
UDF in Marketing Document Rows (When you add a UDF here U_Location then this will available in all marketing documents, both AR and AP)
You will define a location for an Item in the Item Master....
In the GRPO..you can use FMS to list the location/s for the Item being received from the Item Master and the User can Select it.
In the Sales Order, you can select the location from which the Item could be picked..

I have been doing lot of research on integrating SCSM and SCOM for Incident Management Automation(Auto-ticketing). I did configurations in SCSM, SCOM and it worked pretty well! :) However, I need some clarifications on Incident Priority calculations.
Environment - SCSM 2012 R2, SCOM 2012 R2
Objective - To automate Incident Management for Each Service, I have picked Lync 2013 for Pilot testing.
- Created SCOM Alert Connector action account
- Created 3 SCSM incident templates for Incident Priority calculations (P1, P2 and P3)
- Lync P1 Incidents (Impact - High, Urgency - High)
- Lync P2 Incidents (Impact - High, Urgency - Medium)
- Lync P3 Incidents (Impact - Medium, Urgency - Medium)
- Attached is our incident priority settings in SCSM.
- Created SCOM Alert Connector. In Alert Routing rules, I have picked couple of Lync classes (LS Registrar, LS Response Group, LS Data Conferencing, LS Centralized Logging Agent etc). (I don't want to target whole Lync MP as of now. Once the priority classification
is successful, I can target alerts from whole Lync MP.) While adding routing rules, I have selected the specific template for a specific class. For ex- LS Registrars class, P2 Incident template. Alerts that do not fit the routing criteria would pick up P3
template as default. Both check boxes "Close alerts in Ops Mgr when Incidents are resolved or closed" and "Resolve Incidents automatically when the alerts in Ops Mgr are closed" are checked.
- In SCOM internal connector subscription, I have targeted all Lync Servers group and selected ONLY specific Lync classes (In approve targets) that I used in routing rules. Enabled "Error, Warning" and "High, Medium" check boxes in alert
criteria
Now, the incidents are getting generated, but with wrong priority calculations. I may be wrong in configuring routing rules. Is there any best way to configure routing rules for different priorities? If I remove all routing rules for specific classes and target
entire Lync MP, how to configure the Incident Templates which I created for different priorities?
Any help is much appreciated.

How do I install a management agent
How do I install a management agent?
I have OMS installed on Server A.
I have server B that I need to manage with OMS, how do I install an agent on that?
There seems to be no clear way of installing an agent, and pointing it to Server A for registration.
I have tried:
1. Downloading the management agent from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oem/htdocs/agentsoft.html
a. Running the ./runInstaller
b. It fails with missing .rsp files, I've touched .rsp files in order to get the installer to run
c. But it does not give me an option to install an agent, only an 'additional service'
2. The mass installer
a. I unzipped the agent .zip file into the appropriate directory on Server A
b. Modified the agentDownload.linux_x64 file
c. Copied the agentDownload.linux_x64 file to Server B
d. Run the agentDownload script, with -b option
i. The script downloaded some files from Server A
ii. The script quit
I can't seem to find any real documentation on how to do this that actually makes sense and works.
I only need to install the agent on a few servers, so I don't need any mass install, surely, how hard can it be?Here is some output from agentDownload

Serial Numbers in Inventory Management u2013 Warehouse managed storage locations
We want to run inventory cycle at the warehouse for materials. These materials are u2018serial numberedu2019 in the material master. During the initial entry (say GR) of the materials, systems prompt for the serial numbers. At this point, system offers option of assignments of serial numbers automatically.
While running an inventory cycle for warehouse u2013 and posting difference at WM level (LI01), system is throwing error as u201Cmaintain serial number for totol quantityu201D. System does not promt me to enter the serial number for the materials (count) which are found excess/shortage duing the inventory cycle.
Is there any configuration where this scenario can be managed; system should prompt us to enter serial number while posting differenes at WM level (LI20).
The inventory cycle is -
1. Create Physical Inventory Documents - LI01N
2. Activate Physical Inventory Document - LI02N
3. Enter Count - LI11N
4. Post Differences at WM level - LI20
5. Post Differences at IM level(If Differences are posted at WM ) - LI21Curious to know: The WM Inventory transaction - LI11N - (where we enter physical count. )
1. Compared to MI04 - IM Inventory Transaction: where a pop-up window asks for serial number of the material.
2. We expect a similar pop-up at LI11N transaction- where the system should ask serial numbers.
Q.1 How can we achieve this?
Q.2 Will this be a standard SAP practice? (if we do customizing to get serial nos. pop-up window at LI11N)

Fill CRMD_CUSTOMER_H with customer field from Incident Management (SolMan)

I have an issue:
Customer is working with Incident Management (Solution Manager), and they have created custom field ZZFLD000003 to save the additional time for incident solving.
Please see attached pictures.
They have explained me, that they need to save values from ZZFLD000003 to CRMD_CUSTOMER_H table, but values are not moved to database table.
For solution they created custom FM zai_crm_im_incident_create_rfc, the copy of standard and they need to extend it to solve issue above.
I am really beginner in ABAP, can you please help me? Source code for your info is below.

I meet the same issue, but my error message is different from yours.
My message shows as following:
Transaction could not be sent to SAP. See long text for detail.
Action could not be successfully executed.
This is what I have met at last step to confirm this message and I have no idea how to solve this issue.
I create new incident for this issue, but I don't get any useful information back.
They said the customer I test doesn't renew its MA, but I tried another one who has purchased new MA for his/her products to test.
Yet, we got the same error as well.
I also seek assistant at 3rd party, but they have no idea about this issue.
We even restore system to one month ago when the incident was sent to SAP successfully.
It doesn't work either.
Hope i have assistant from someone who can fix this issue.

Incident management team determination Ib52 or PFAC?

For solution manager 7.1 incidenent management, is the team determination carried out by Ibase (partner) of by rule PFAC\13220137? In IB52, we can set up the partner for contact person and service employee group...if I have the ibase setup, is that meaning when I create a support message, the message should bind with the corresponding partner alrready, such as contact person, service employee group? I can not see the binding when I create message in satellite system and view it in workcenter. If I use PFAC for rule 1322037, can I decide the determination rule based on my sap system? for example, if my ERP system is ER1 and put the ER1 in to the field of "SAP system" or this has to done in componenet level. I am currently following the guide a"pplication incident management - configuration and upgrade guide sap solution manager 7.1 sps 01"

IB52 is required for Partner determination so that when your raise message from satellite system then your user should be identified in Solution Manager.
PFAC is Rule determination from where you can manage automatic assignment of your tickets to respective team based on different components.

Generic searches in Solman 7.1 Charm and Incident Management
Hi,
I would like to configure some GENERIC searches in the web UI for ChaRM
and incident Managment.
Something like:
Show all my Incidents
or
Show all my Change Reqeust
or
Show all tickets where I am a Change Manager.
Like it is possible in crm_dno_monitor or in the Workcenter.
Afterwards I´d like to share that with the global Sharing tool.
Does anyone know if that is possible?

In CRM WEB UI I can define a search which shows every Change for a specific BP, but that does´t help me if I want to share this query. I need something which shows for every users his/her Changes.
I do not understand what you mean with 'How do I connect to CRM UI'. Via Internet Explorer.

we have SAP standard Extractors for Incident Management to load the Data.

2. is EHSM is web based / SAP GUI based, if web based...how to login.
3. I have access to ECC where the EHSM is instaled, but I am very new & dont have Idea to login.

2 - Change File permissions ( chmod +x setup-1.4.4.14439.bin)
3 - Now you can install so execute this sintaxis : ./setup-1.4.4.14439.bin
4 - When app installation finishes, you must do it with this file into folder installation (chmod +x LenovoEMCStorageManager)
5 - Then to open the app execute it: ./LenovoEMCStorageManager

For example, we created a Support Notification (SLFN) message as follows;

【Priority:Text】 3:Medium
【Description】 Test001
【User Status】 In process
【Attributes】 SM1_200
【Business Partner】 ABC etc...
And now we want to copy the above message.
(Say, ID would be 800070001 and all the other section is completely same as ID80007000)

I am not sure how good this will work or not; but you can give a try using the copying control mechanism. This should be able to copy the message completely to a new message when u create a new one from the existing one. Please refer the following IMG to find how to do this:
