  • How do you pass the data from a SBO process to a crystal report laout

    Hi Everyone
    Can someone please assist or direct me to documentation that could be of help.
    I do production orders in SBO.
    I have a crystal report that I have imported as a layout to print these production orders.
    The report was developed the normal way, linking to the tables and returning data(all data for all production orders ever done)
    The production print option is set to make use of this layout.
    What I would like to see is that when I create production order 12345 and click on print preview I get the data of the mentioned order only displayed in my crystal layout(that is set to default)
    What I get however is all the data from the tables.
    Where am I going wrong. With my design already or is there a different way to pass the data to my report/layout direct from my SBO production order screen
    This is quite urgen
    Regards
    Burger

    Hi All
    The solution i was looking for is:
    In Crystal create the parameter called DocKey@
    This is recognized by sap and the active document number is passed to the report layout.
    In crystal itself also do a filter {<Table>.<Column Name>} = {?DocKey}
    So simple once you know how.
    Hope this help someone else that is as stuck as I was.
    Regards

  • TO_DATE - How do I pass the date and time to the function

    Hi,
    I am writing a PL/SQL code. The code has a simple cursor,
    For the criteria, I am using a column called 'created' which is a date column, and the to_date function.
    I would like to pass the date and time to the to_date fuction as a parameter, date_value, as shown below.
    CURSOR opty is
    select a.name, a.id
    from s_opty a
    where a.created > to_date(date_value, 'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS');
    I've tried declaring a bind variable,
    date_value date := '&1'
    but no joy.
    Any ideas would be welcomed.
    Thanks in antcipation

  • In SQL server, how can I pass a date and return on any specific day of the week (e.g. Sunday/Monday/Wednesday, etc.)

    In SQL server, I want to be able to have a function to return the date of any specific day of the week by passing two parameters. E.g.:
    parameter 1: a selected date (e.g. 8/3/2013)
    parameter 2: any specific day of the week (e.g. Wednesday)
    result: should be 7/31/2013 (8/3/2013 is a Sunday in the week 7/28 - 8/3, so the Wednesday should be 7/31/2013)
    then if I want to get Saturday of that week, I can simply change the second parameter to 'Saturday'
    Thanks.

    I guess you have a problem with your formats...
    try this:

  • How to pass a date as a parameter?

    So what i'm trying to do is call a proc. by passing a paramter that takes the date.
    The table used in the cursor outputs date like so: "4/14/2009 7:00:00 PM"
    So the query looks something like this...
    select game_id
    from cs.years
    where trunc(game_date) in pGameDatepGameDate is defined as: date default sysdate - 15
    So the call of the proc looks like this... call xt.GameIDs (pGameDate)
    My question is how would I pass that date in the call?
    I've tried the following call xt.GameIDs ('25-April-2009') but that didn't seem to work...am I writing out the date incorrectly in the call?

    you are not passing date here its a string you need to convert it into date use to_date('25-april-2009','DD-MONTH-RRRR')

  • How to pass system date and time with tabular from in Update only Mode.

    Dear Friends,
    i have created tabular form with UPDATE Only .here i am assigning work to another multiple users.i want to insert system date and time when i assign work to multiple users.
    How can i insert system date and time into table using tabular form in Update Only Mode.
    beacuse i have pass in default system date it's working only with add row button.
    How can i pass system date and time in update mode in tabular form.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You just create a trigger on the table on which you build your tabular form:
    e.g:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER  "AUDITING"
    before insert or update on "MYTABLE"
    for each row
    begin
        if inserting then
            :new.created_on := localtimestamp;
            :new.created_by := nvl(v('APP_USER'),user);
        elsif updating then
            :new.updated_on := localtimestamp;
            :new.updated_by := nvl(v('APP_USER'),user);
        end if;
    end;Regards,

  • Passing objects to a applet.

    hi there,
    i have a jsp and a applet. i need to pass an object from my jsp to the applet and the applet will present the results.
    how can i do it?? how do i pass objects to the applet??
    thanks

    you typically pass strings as applet parameters in the page.
    otherwise, you have your applet connect back to the server with a socket or URLConnection to a servlet, which can send serialized objects if that's what you need, or other data.

  • Pass the data from a form in workflow to z table

    Hi all,
    How can I pass the data from a form in workflow to z table?

    Thanks for your answer, I tried the solution 2, I create "Submit" button, and ser the mapping scope to  be "All data rows", it only works when I select at least one row, otherwise the data would not be passed.
    Another question is I have serveral imported table parameter, for each table I have one "submit" event, I want these tables to be submitted at the same time, but if I click the submit button in one table toolbar, I can only submit the table data which has a submit button clicked, for other tables, the data is not passed, how can I achieve it?
    Thanks.

  • Pass a date Range from VB to a parameter

    Hello,
    I'm thinking this is an easy question, but ...
    In a Visual Studio 2008 VB program, I'm allowing the user to pick a starting and ending date from DateTimePickers. (works fiine).
    In a CR 2008 report, I have a paramter defined as "pDateRange",  Type = date, Allow Range Values = Yes.
    In the Record Selection, I use a formula of {tblData.INSTALLDT} in {?Date_Range}.
    When I run the report, I can enter the date ranges in via the Enter Values prompt screen, and it works file,
    All I need to know is - how do I pass the dates the user selected in the VB program to the pDateRange parameter?
    Thanks very much,
    Carl

    Thanks Ludek for the reply.
    Unfortunately, I canu2019t seem to puzzle this out.  None of the examples seem to work.  This is an example, along with their comments.

  • WAD 3.5 - Pass a date to Hierarchical Filter Selection Key Date

    I'm working in WAD 3.5, with 3.5 queries.  I currently have a Hierarchical Filter Selection on Org Unit using a query with no Key Date set, so as to pull the most current version of the hierarchy.  This filter selection is then applied to several charts and tables below.
    I need the web app to initially display this current version, but also allow the user to select a date, which triggers a requery of the Hierarchical Filter Selection data provider, passing the date selection to the key date of the data provider query.  1) how do I pass the date (currently from a drop down) to the key date of the other query, and 2) how do I force a requery of the Hierarchical Filter Selection?
    The problem we are attempting to address is that if Org Unit A contained Org Units 1, 2, and 3 at the end of 2007, but only 1 and 2 today, the Hierarchical Filter Selection will not show #3, thus not allowing the user to drill down to it.  If they can choose the version/point in time of the hierarchy, they will then have the ability to drill down on the older Org Units.
    Thanks!
    Anna

    Our solution was to modify the user exit variables and store the values in a MEMORY ID and restore from there.

  • Passing parameters to an applet dynamically

    I am looking for suggestions on how I can pass parameters to my applet which generates a simple bar graph. If I pass parameter names and values using HTML tags the number of bars are fixed. I want my applet to accept variable number of values for the x and y axes.

    Then use a JSP for the HTML page. This can then pass dynamically generated numbers as params. Alternatively, your applet could communicate to the server through a Socket (package java.net) - although this can cause problems if there are firewalls inbetween client and server.

  • Passing the date to a text field using DateChooser

    How can I pass the date that someone selects to a text field
    in Flash.
    AND then how can I pass the date that someone selects to a
    text field in Director using the same component?
    "selectedDate()" isn't working, plus I get "undefined" when I
    trace that...

    > Do you know why if I select the same date twice I get a
    "property not
    > found"
    > error ---- #selectedDate?
    Think you have to use on change(me) instead of mouseUp.
    To use that with the flashobject, you need to intialize the
    object once, eg
    in enterframe.
    Try the following - look out for linebreaks.
    property pSprite
    property pInit
    property pEvent
    on beginSprite(me)
    pSprite = sprite(me.spriteNum)
    pInit = false
    pEvent = 0
    end
    on enterFrame(me)
    if not(pInit) then
    pEvent = pSprite.newObject("MyDateChooser")
    pSprite.setCallBack(pEvent, "change", #change, me)
    pInit = true
    end if
    end
    on change(me)
    y = integer(sprite(1).selectedDate.getYear()) + 1900
    d = integer(sprite(1).selectedDate.getDate())
    m = integer(sprite(1).selectedDate.getMonth())+1
    member("chosenDate").text = d & "-" & m & "-"
    & y
    end
    on endSprite(me)
    pEvent = 0
    end

  • Passing context data back to Java Webdynpro

    Hi All,
    I have created Java Webdynpro's with Adobe Interactive Forms in them. I use ActiveX not Native. Yesterday passing data from the AIF to Webdynpro for Java was working like this (it didn't work in Native mode) today it doesn't. Neither does pressing any buttons. I'm not sure what has been installed on my system, it could be Adobe Read 9.0. Now creating the forms using the livecycle designer in de Netweaver developer studio is also very unstable (unworkable)
    My main question is: how can I pass the data from the interactive form to webdynpro for java (without using the submit button, as I want to have such buttons on my webdynpro and not in my forms.)
    Jeschael

    Jeschael,
    Try creating a new project and repeat the same steps. Do you get error there as well.
    Also try setting some context in WD, assign it to a Text Field of Adobe and see if you get the value.
    For eg: Let's assume you created a Context called "Name" then set it
    wdContext.currentContextElement.setName("Test");
    Now try to assign this to Text Field, see if you get the value in Adobe form by writing this code in the initialize event of Text Field in Adobe LiveCycle Designer in JavaSript.
    xfa.host.messageBox("Value is :"+TextField1.rawValue);
