How many channels have digital input?

Hi, I want to know how many channels have the digital input of the intel mac mini. I have an digital input with six channels and I would like record in different tracks in garageband or other program. It's possible?

I don't use GarageBand much, but I did a couple of searches. If you search the GarageBand forum, it is possible to import/record more than one or two tracks at a time. In fact, people have recorded six tracks with a USB/MIDI interface. HOWEVER, there is more to consider than just the ability of the software to do this. The processor and the hard drive will have to keep up. From what I found there, it seems the processor and hard drive of the Mac mini will not be able to keep up with six tracks. Apple uses some laptop components, like hard drives, to keep the Mac mini small. One sacrifice of smaller components is lower performance. If you're going to work on projects like that, the folks in the GarageBand forum might recommend an iMac. Your topic might be better suited for that forum, since digital optical audio for the Mac mini is brand new, there might not be many people here with much experience.

Is their a way to find out how many channels in DAQmx code?

Hi I am using DAQmx VI's to aquire voltage and temperature. Is there a way to know how many channels were chosen from each individual Create Channel VI without looking at the physical channels input control? For example with the physical channel input of "cDAQ1Mod2/ai0:3" I know I have 4 channels selected, however, I want to use the number of channels that were selected my the user which can change depending on the user input.

You can simply use the Task property, Number of Channels. Use one after the voltage tasks and one after the temperature task. The rest is just subtaction.

How many channels should i need for my 10 pieces of thermocouple?

1.i need test 10 pieces of thermocouples at one time,so how many channels do i need? are 8 channels enough(SCXI-1112) of i must use 32 channel(SCXI-1102)?
2.I only need test 3 LVDT signals and 3 strain guage signal(must full bridge),do you have 4 channels' LVDT module and 4 channels' Strain/bridge module(full bridge)?
3.if i hug all these sensors to the signal conditioning,does that mean my DAQ should have at least 16 Analog inputs,beside do you have 12-bit DAQ?

1. If you need to measure 10 thermocouples, then you will need at least that many differential channels. So the 1102 would be best.
2. The current LVDT module we offer is the 1540 which has 8 Channels as does the 1520 which is the best strain gauge module.
3. The measurements from the SCXI Chassis will normally be multiplexed to one channel on the DAQ card. Any of our E-Series (except the Basic DAQ) will control. Our E-Series card can be either 12-bit or 16-bit.

I have had numerous issues. Originally, I couldn't get video to work at all in Leopard (worked fine in Tiger). I just recently did all of the following things:
Set QT STreaming to 1.5
Set bandwidth (in iChat) to 500kbps (Comcast)
Deleted iChat prefs and ichatagent prefs
Set parallels network to "host only" (was on shared)
Reset PRAM
Reset security port to 443 (in iChat prefs, server settings)
Restart iChat (obviously)
Right now, all of my buddies are currently offline, but I did test with apple's auto-bots and interestingly, I'm getting video to work with appleu3test01 and appleu3test03, but I get the same connection problem as before with appleu3test02 ("There was a communication error during your chat"). I'm curious what's different about this bot's settings. I'll report more when I get to test with a real person.

Your steps so far are OK but you may want to try:
1 Trash your user library Caches folder (House Icon with short name in Finder window (hard drive window)GOTO:House icon > Library folder > caches folder
2 Trash the com.apple.Safari.plist file in User library > preferences folder > Safari.plist as well as removing the library Safari folder its self.
3 you can selectivly re-install Safari 2.0 from your OS Tiger Install disk 1, (see Knowledge base article 301229 for how to just select the Safari Application) without doing a complete system Archive and Install.
4. Create a new Test user account on the system and test how Safari responds in the Test user, see if its a user related issue and not system issue.
5. Still no Safari response? have to do an Archive and install (not preserving user and network settings)article 107120
PS. Issue may be related to actual internet connection connectivity, power cycle cable modem and router or airport if using one as well as the computer(keep unplugged for 3-5 min) and plug the cable modem in and then the router/airport then power on the computer. Do the Airport Admin utiliy (applications, utilities on HD_1)update.
- do a hard reset of airport knowledge base article 108044(Express base) and 107451 (Extreme base)
- Check with internet provider for connection issues "cannot find server" ect.

Google Analytics, assuming it is available Down Under, can give stats on device and browser usage for a site. Set up take a little while and involves adding script code to your pages, but is well worth the effort.

How is the printer connected? If a network connection then you can use the printer's built in web server by entering the IP address in your browser, then click on "Usage report" on the left. If you are connected by USB you could print a report page from the front panel as follows: Setup, Print report, OK, Print Status Report, OK. Items 13 and 14 will have page usage information.

How to know how many carts have been ordered as "bought on behalf of"

I'm looking for a way to know how many carts have been order in the past six months as "bought on behalf of" I've looked at tables CRMD_PARTNER and BUT000 but, I'm not sure how to determine what are the key fields and the SAP queries that I'll need to obtain such count. I'm in Classic scenario which means that the PO and other relevant documents are stored in ECC. A programmer here helped me to obtain the information that I was looking for by querying the PO header and PO items tables (EKKO, EKPO) for those orders where the requestor and the bought on behalf of persons where different (ERNAM, AFNAM):

nope... unless you're in 7.0
the statistics before 7.0 only check queries... workaround would be to have a report on BW statistics filtering on the queries that are in your workbooks... that might give you an "idea", but if there people who run those queries outside of the workbook, it will "affect" your "statistics"

How many days have you waited for approval?

I have waited for 10 days. Still "Not on 32 stores" status for all the books I uploaded.
How many days have you waited before you get your books approved? Does the status ever changed to say "Under Review"? Will you received an email when your book get approved?

OK, I finally have 1 book - out of 8 submitted approved. So I finally have answers to my questions - hope it help others too!

- in this case, about 11 days. Would say 2 weeks is a good bet.
Does the status ever changed to say "Under Review"?
- no. It just turned the red ligh to green, and show "On 32 stores".
Will you received an email when your book get approved?
- no.
Now I still looking for the answer of: can the book get updated once approved? I just submitted a major revision (and grow the book from 70+ pages to 100+ pages) and see whether this will get updated. It goes through fine in iTunes Producer.

Need to merge reward accounts but don't know how many I have

I just realized that I have more than one reward accounts but I don't know all the account numbers, is there a way to find out how many I have and merge them together? PS: I was not at the same location when I applied for the reward accounts, please advise.

If the information shared between your two active My Best Buy accounts matches exactly, then we should be able to merge them together. The merge process would involve closing one account, and then moving any unused points/certificates from the closed account to the active primary account.

How many others have iPod nano 6th generation with on/off buttons broken?

I've been reading on here just how many others have the same problem as I do. My Nano is a few months outside the warranty and the on/off button doesn't work anymore. It works if in a docking station but what use is that? The button gave me a few problems inside the 12 month warranty but it was intermittent - I just thought I hadn't pressed the button right! Apple must surely do something about this design flaw - there are countless people complaining about the same thing! I just tried to log a 'support call' - to discover I must pay £25 before someone will even answer the phone? I will definitely think twice before buying another Apple product - this is the second iPod with which I have had 'design' flaws. The first was a worldwide defective replacement due to battery problems - they at least had the decency to replace those. Absolutely rubbish customer care.

Take a lesson from this: even if you have a device where the problem is interrmitent take it in to the Genius Bar anyway. Had you done this, and even if it hadn't acted up while you were there it would be on record that you brought it in prior to the warranty expiring for the problem. This applies to anything you buy with a warranty.
That said, neither of the 6th Generation models I have (and had), nor any of the about 10 I gave as gifts, have had the problem. If I were you I would call AppleCare, immediately tell them you want to be transferred to Customer Service, and calmly lay out to them your situation in a calm manner and see what they can do for you.
The replaceement program for the 1st Generation Nano was due to a Sony battery issue and did not involve all models, only those with a certain range of battery serial numbers. It was also a safety hazard.
@keeferaf: It isn't "infamous" nor does it really qualify as an Achille's heel.
