How message persistence works in ALSB

Hi,
When I used transport options like retry count and retry interval the question came to my mind is where ALSB stores these retry messages.
This question is only to make sure it's high availability checking possibility of customization .

For business services messages are stored in memory to do retry and failover.
On the inbound side you can also specify retry for JMS and MQ. In that case the message are persisted to disk or database depending of your JMS/MQ server configuration.

When you produce persistent messages the send() method will not return until the broker has persisted the message. This protects the messages from being lost in case the broker goes down.

I had been getting this all morning and checked other messages from the community. THe one which worked was trying a different brand of disc.
I had been using Verbatim which had copied the music fine off the Real Player on my PC at school, but wouldn't work with I Tunes. Tried a Staples and an Office Depot CD-R , both of which did the job.

Just reboot your laptop... While its rebooting try to reboot your phone also by holding the home and power buttonn for 10-15 seconds...When your phone is turned off try to connect it to iTunes and it will recognize your phone in recovery mode.
If you have the .ipsw file for iOS 7.0.6 saved in your desktop then in itunes press shift and click on Restore.
Select the ipsw file and let it restore.
If you dont have it downloaded then simply click on restore.

mono 8 bit 8k is 64kbps, yes. 8 bits times 8,000 = 64,000 = 64k bits/sec.
And yes I think that's a typo - there's no such thing as 'Mone' that I've ever heard of...
But you might want to check to find out if this is a mu-law non-linear format, possibly - there are several ways that 8 bit 8k wav files can be encoded, and typically phone systems don't use linear ones. If you have a log-in to Zultys' user-base system they have an FAQ there, I believe - the answer might be in that, and it won't cost $500.

Ah, it has been mentioned daily esp since iOS 5 / iTunes 10.5 but has always been there as an issue.
Order of attempts:
Repair the installers
Uninstall EVERY Apple component (auto and manual)
Services: Restart all 3 Apple items (AMS, Bonjour, iPod)
I* always do the last almost, then launch iTunes, and only then connect iPod.
IF you see a yellow alert in Devices and Printers or in Device Manager, then I could find NO WAY to fix or repair other than a clean OS. Something messed up the device driver support.
If/when Windows asks "what to do when it detects iPod"? don't chose any default action, to me, based on hunch and 3 PCs, that seems to mess AMS up for some reason.
Tried with Windows 7 64-bit Pro and Home Premium, and also Deve Preview 8 (which other than the inability to update iOS to 5.0 seems to run better -- except when it comes to AMS thing! so seems Apple is not on the same page writitng drivers.

* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I was told once they put in a new sim card and use it, whatever software the police have, it will show up.

Honestly? In the US (I can't speak to other countries, though I doubt it works much differently in a lot of the world) The police took your report and filed it either in their computers or, on paper. They will now not think of this again. The only time it will cross anyones mind is if, in the course of entering information into evidence about items recovered or seized at a crime scene, the serial number of an iPhone that was found/seized happens to match yours, in which case you will be contacted.
The police in the US can and will do nothing to 'blok' the phone and it's not worth their time to try and locate it unless you know for a fact that it was stolen by a big time drug lord, master criminal, or some other such prime target and they can get a court order to track the location of the phone in order to locate this individual for your own purposes. If they do that, they'll probably keep him under surveilance for a year or so before they act.
Basically, the police don't care about your phone. If they find it, they will give it back to you. They are not, however, going to go looking for it. They have better things to do.

you have to apply Extension Manager 5.0.3 update. Apple made some API changes in Lion which causes Extension Manager CS5/5.5 crash. We released Extension Manager 5.0.3 and 5.5.3 update last April to solve this issue. You can apply this update via Adobe Application Manager. You can also click "Help"->"Updates..." menu item in Photoshop CS5, then update Extension Manager CS5 in popped up dialog box.
Each version of Extension Manager only installs/manages extensions for the same version of products. For example, Extension Manager CS5 only installs or manages extensions for Dreamweaver CS5, Photoshop CS5, InDesign CS5, etc. Extension Manager CC is only for Photoshop CC, etc.

I message not working on ios 7

I have upgarded to ios 7 and my i message isnt working, when i go to turn it on it asks me to log in to apple acc, which i do and it wont accept my details, i have tried logging into my apple acc via app store and it works fine, i have also logged out of my acc and logged back in fine so i know that the details are correct.
anyone know what else i can try please.

I have just read this a second ago so I will advice you the same, you could maybe think about going to get an appointment at your closest Apple store because I am not sure many people know how to fix this, they will probobly swap your iphone in for a new Iphone 5

Frustrated with Messages not working.

I am able to launch my messages every once in a while and it works properly. For the most part when I launch my messages, it will not show my previous messages like it should it automatically pops up to a new message. Which it will allow you to select who you would like to send the message to and you can type the message but you can not send. The option is greyed out. I have contacted my carrier, I have reset my phone. I just want my messages to work. Over 75% of the time I do not ever receive messages that have been sent to me and the person I am sending the messages to usually don't receive them. If they do it might be hours later. I am running iOS 7.03 but the issue started well before I updated and it is still happening.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I too am very ****** off about this as well. I waited for this wonderful update 7.03 to fix my texting problem and it did nothing. I had just gotten this new iphone less than a month ago and already want to throw it and Apple into a river. I never had these issues with my Andriod. How can my husband have the exact same phone have the same settings and be at the same update and his works fine. SERIOUSLY!!! I had no issues until I downloaded 7.02 which was my biggest mistake ever. I can send my husband text messages fine and they go through. I try sending my parents one who have Sprint and needless to say they do not get my text messages. Yet my husband can. I have never been so upset especially since I sat here waiting for this new update to go through only to find out it doesn't work. So my plan is to take it in wipe the phone and start from scratch otherwise this phone is going in the trash and I will get a new phone that works. Unless someone from Apple has any wonderful suggestiions they would like to tell me to do. (oh wait don't think I want any help from them as they obviously can't fix a simple text problem) so anyone else who can help will be greatly appreciate.

Messages not working on Yosemite

So I've read through all the threads and everything and I can't figure out how to fix this problem.
My messages are not being delivered. Every time I send a message I receive a Not Delivered with an exclamation point.
I've deleted all the com.apple.ichat* message* and madd* files as instructed in previous threads.
It gave me a clean install for Messages but still doesn't work.
After restarting my computer I had to set up Messages again but still doesn't work.
When I sign in as a guest it works fine but not when I sign in my own account.
Please advise.

Back up all data.
Quit Messages if it’s running. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it and test after each of the following steps. If the problem isn't resolved, quit again and go on to the next step.
Step 1
Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
          Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
          Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked
          Keep login keychain unlocked
is not checked, check it.
Select
          Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
From the Category list in the lower left corner of the window, select My Certificates. Look carefully at the list of certificates in the right side of the window. If any of them is marked with a red "X" as expired or invalid, delete it. Also delete all items with "iMessage" or "com.apple.idms" in the name, whether valid or not.
From the menu bar, select
          Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ Certificates
There are three menus in the window. Change the selection in the top two to Best attempt, and in the bottom one to CRL.
Log out and log back in.
Step 2
Hold down the option key and select
          Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
          Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd
          Caches/com.apple.Messages
          Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
          Containers/com.apple.iChat
          Containers/com.apple.soagent
          IdentityServices
Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in.
Step 3
Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
          Messages
Note: you are not moving the Messages application. You’re moving a folder named “Messages.”
If Messages now works, delete the Messages folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit Messages again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place.
Step 4
In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
          com.apple.iChat
          com.apple.ids
          com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
          com.apple.imessage
          com.apple.imservice
Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Log out and log back in. Test again. This time Messages should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes Messages to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
If the issue is still not resolved, quit Messages again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post your results.
If you later decide that you don’t like the results of Steps 3 and 4, you can undo them completely by quitting Messages and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.

How does vip work?

Today, a VIP mailbox magically appeared in my mailbox list. I was the vip. But, the folder contained only my emails for one mailbox. I have several mailboxes. I went to another mailbox & activated myself as a vip. Now, there are two of me as vip's, but each vip mailbox contains different emails. I want all my emails, in all mailboxes, to be under myself as a single vip. How does vip work, so I can do that?

To keep track of messages you receive from especially important people, make them VIPs in Mail. You can have up to 100 VIPs.
To make someone a VIP, move the pointer to the left of the sender’s name in the message header and click the star that appears. You can also move the pointer over the sender’s email address, click the arrow that appears, and choose “Add to VIPs” from the pop-up menu.
A mailbox for the VIP is added to the Favorites bar. For example, if you make Dad a VIP sender, his messages are displayed in a VIP mailbox titled Dad.
To remove VIP status from a sender, click the VIP’s star in a message. The star is removed and the sender’s VIP mailbox is removed from the Favorites bar.
If a VIP has several email addresses in Contacts, messages from any of those addresses will appear in the VIP’s mailbox.
If you use iCloud Contacts, your VIPs are available on your other Mac computers that use iCloud Contacts and have OS X Mountain Lion installed.

Messages was released as a beta on 10.7, however when it was released as a full version Apple dropped support for 10.7 & made it require 10.8 & higher
