How OSB AQ adapter dequeue from database AQ ?
Hi,
Could someone please tell me how OSB AQ adapter dequeues from database AQ ?
Does it ask database frequently ? Or just hangs on database ?
Or database AQ notifies OSB when something comes to AQ ?

I don't have any experience with AQ adapter for OSB, but when I was working with AQ library for JMS I had the same question and found out that it was polling the database.

</html>You mean when you click on the hyperlink you want that row to disappear from the page, but not delete the row from the database until a commit/submit button is pressed?
Personally, I think I'd prefer that you have a delete checkbox next to every row and NOT remove them from the display if I was a user. You give your users a chance to change their mind about their choice, and when they're done they can see exactly which rows will be deleted before they commit.
You know your problem, of course, so you might have a good reason for designing it this way. But I'd prefer not removing them from the display. JMO - MOD -

In the Next button press, you are coded such a way that it will populate the last record.
Try removing the do..While.. loop and simply code like

Since you don't say anything about technologies you are using, I will assume ADF Business Components and JSF.
You can write a service method in your application module - see Section 25.5 of the ADF Developer's Guide for Forms/4GL Developers
Then, you can drag-and-drop the service method from the data control palette on to your JSF page and select ADF Command Button when you drop.
You will, in all likelyhood, find numerous examples when you search the forum as well.

How to delete a row from database table in facade client

I followed the tutorial in creating a persistence entity from database table, then a session facade. Then I followed the tutorial to create a sample client to test the model. In the session facade, I could use persistEntity method to insert a record to the database. I am just thinking of an extension to the tutorial, i.e., being able to delete the record too. So I created a new method removeEntity in the session facade

em.flush();
and called it in the sample client. It was executed without any error, but the record in the table still exists.

Hi All-
I am developing an application in Webdynpro and I need to provide a URL ( link ) which if clicked , need to collect the data from Database ( SQL Server ) and puts in an Excel Sheet corresponding fields and opens the sheet.....
Please look into this issue and help me out......
