How should I debug a PVM that is crashing & rebooting too fast ?

I have a newly created oel4u6 PVM that appears to be starting but then crashing & rebooting too fast and I don't know how to best debug it. The vm is a P2V'ed oel4u6 HP Blade that successfully boots as a HVM but I can't seem to get it to fully start as a PVM (I have several clones that I am working with to contrast/compare).
I can't seem to get the console to start fast enough to show me anything useful as the crash is within seconds.
I likely can flip the VM back to HVMPV mode or HVM and boot to the original kernel but if I boot to another kernel I am not sure what files in the VM (if any) may give any insight on the failed starts/crashed.*
Anyone have any ideas/recommendations on how to debug this?*

How do I change the name of a folder in the System/Library folder? I need to do it to debug a program that is crashing due to some plugins in the folder.

The program crashing is Sibelius 6 -- music scoring program. I am running OSX 10.7.5.
I changed a playback setting in the program and then it crashed. Sibelius playback device needs to get permissions to use audio plugins and there are some that are, apparently, Sibelius 6 doesn't like. I don't need to use these vat, AU plugins in this program, but I cannot get out of it unless I change the name of the folder Sibelius looks to for those plugins.

How should I upgrade hard drive with bootcamp partition & Parallels too

I need to replace the hard drive in my 24" iMac (model 8,1 - early 2008). My major concern is how to deal with my Windows XP in Parallels using a Bootcamp partition. I have yet to find software that runs in OSX 7 (Lion) that will clone both the OSX partition and the Bootcamp NTFS partition. It would appear that the most practical approach would be to use bootcamp assistant to remove the NTSF bootcamp partition and then clone just the OSX partition to my new drive and then recreate the bootcamp and parallels installations and reinstall Windows XP from scratch. Seems rather inelegant, so I'm hoping someone has advice based on experience. I'm truly hoping there is a more elegant way and any suggestions are appreciated.

Kinda sticky, but there is a way. You'll need three separate tools for the job:
The External Hard Disk: Indispensable. Get one that's at least 2x bigger than your current internal drive. You'll need it as an interim storage point
Winclone: This free software will allow you to image the Boot Camp volume. Since the developers closed shop, it's off to MacUpdate for a copy. Run it and clone the data to the external drive
Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.3: Same as above, but for your OS X volume. This essentially puts a slick front-end on Disk Utility's cloning powers, but it really works well. Get it at http://www.bombich.com/
As for restoring the volumes:
Restore the Mac side first from Snow Leopard, using the created image from CCC. Let it take up the full of the new drive
Now, run Boot Camp Assistant to size up a new Windows volume. You should not need to reload Windows--that's where Winclone comes in.
Use Winclone to recover the XP side now, and if necessary, resize the volume.
If done correctly, you'll keep XP as you update to Lion on the Mac side--but you can't upgrade the drivers past 3.2.

Yes it can be with different name there or it can be hidden file for some reason.
To see the hidden file open terminal and type:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE && killall Finder

I'm relatively new to LabVIEW and as I'm building bigger and bigger VIs with multiple subVIs, etc. I've been wondering what makes a good "looking" program. Basically... how should I organize it so that it's readable and makes sense to another person.
Is there any where I can find some good examples of this with some more complicated programs? I did a quick search and didn't find anything, but please let me know if you know of anything. Thanks.

At first, this looks good, your wiring is clean and easy to follow the data flow. I've some worse code in my own projects.
So let's see where/how you can reduce the overall BD size.
The timed loop has some empty space between code and checking the exit condition.
The VISA code is a good candidate for SubVIs, especially the VSET command could be a single reusable SubVI that takes a dbl. Same for the ISET
You also can make SubVIs without intending them for reuse. I think about a XNET/CAN Init.vi. Would save a lot of real estate.
Test Info Names could be a Constant.vi (so just the constant feeding an indicator). Might be reusable if you read from the TDMS at another place. I also use small VI Icons for such VI's, about half the size of a normal 32x32 icon. You need to make the 256 and the BW color Icon of a reduced size, then the outer part is made transparent.
Use clusters, e.g. max volts, min volts, volt inc, set amps could go into one cluster. You can make the borders transparent, so it doesn't look like a cluster on the FP. Helps you to make that code a SubVi as you only need a single control (the cluster). Make the cluster a type def so you only need to change the type def and not SubVI and FP.
Same place, consider using a dialog for setting up the measurement. Then all can go into a single vi (including the FP code/indicator).
I think that using SubVIs will also get down a second optical 'bug', that you have a very highly nested structure (look at the bottom right corner and see that you have 4 error catching case structures). I normally place the error catching case around my event structure. Maybe this already gets you rid of one. Also I think some of them are unnecessary, as code isn't executed with an error on the wire (e.g. the TDMS and VISA vi's won't do anything when called with an error).
As an alternative, use a state machine that basically just goes Init CAN -> Init Visa device -> Run -> Shutdown with branches to an error handling state or to the shutdown state (e.g. if cancelled by the user).
Other points to change:
The run button is outside the coresponding event frame. Place it inside the event frame to get the latching working.
Error handling. The outer while loop has no shift registers on the error wire and no abort if an error occures, so you will drop errors without noticing.

Basically I like the control over the compiling process that I get by using Ant - but I really want traces to come up immediately without having to switch contexts.
I have an ant file that successfully launches a swf in the flashplayer - but I don't know how to make the flex console start displaying the trace output. I assume that I will have to point it to the appropriate trace output file - but I am not sure how to have ant even address the console. Is this possible?
Here is the the target node from my ANT file:
