How should i open another application through url....?

Hi,
how should i open new application in new window thorough url of that application.
I know , one way is link to url property of ui element but in my case i dont wont to use that.
i m having url of another application and if i want to open that through any code...how its possible.?
is there any windows code for that ?

After insertion of LinkToURL element into the View.
for "reference=<give here your application URL>
for property
reference=https://www.sdn.sap.com
and for property
text = <give the name what ever you want here>
and the same can be done using
"LinkToAction" element also.

I'm also unable to switch back and forth to look at my calendar if I'm calling someone about scheduling. This has only started happening since the most recent iOs update. I run into situations similar to this about once per day during the work week, as I use my phone is this manner quite often. While not life altering it is quite frustrating. Can anyone here help me figure out a way to avoid this? If it helps, I have noticed a general downgrade in overall performance starting two system updates ago (apps opening more slowly, closing unexpectedly more often, etc.). I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest OS update.

I could be corrupted backup.
You can check the notification settings for message.
Settings>Notification Center>Messages>Alert Style
It should be on Banners or Alerts.
Settings>Messages> Turn on Imessage and send as SMS and below that "Blocked" to check if you have any numbers block might be blocking the message.
You can also do a hard reset by holding power and home till it restarts and release after seeing the apple logo.
Still doesn't work? Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings

Hi,
   You can add a link to your HTML page and set the anchor reference to the absolute URL of your WD application.
   The absolute URL of your WD application looks like
http://<j2ee server>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/<wd component name>/<application name>
   So your HTML code will look like:
<a href="http://<j2ee server>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/<wd component name>/<application name>">Link</a>

When you are in one app, press the home button and open another app. You can't see more than one app at a time, but you can have as many open as memory will allow.
To quickly switch between the apps, double-click the home button. Active apps will be shown in the order you last used them. You can slide the active bar to see more of recent apps.

When ever we opened HFM Application through workspace, getting struck and through client is going good. Any guess on this.. please share.
We have tried to Reset IIS, Recycle Services & Reboot Servers -- After this some time will works good , Then again isue repeats.

Yeah the issue seem to be with IIS,
Try launching the application through the url
http://hfmwebserver/hfm/logon/processlogon.asp?workspace=false&username=admin&password=password replacing hfmwebserver with web server you have in your env and username and password respectively to see if there is some improper registration of Web Server with HFM.
Also check IIS worker process settings.

Your question about 32 bit or 64 bit was good. In fact, before our exchanges, I downloaded Photoshop but I didn't run the application.

Not able to access the application through URL in clustered environment.

I recently depoyed my application on clustered environment of weblogic 8.1 SP4.
Now I am able to access the application through the managed server name with port number but not able to access through URL.
For ex
http://machine1:7001/test/login.do?m=begin
this is accessible
If I use
http://test.domain.com/test/login.do?m=begin
Then application is not accessible.
any HTML or JSP page page is in reach by both the URL.
Please suggest me what should I do in this regard.

I meant to ask are you able to see the application you created in Hyperion Planning Login page,if yes try accessing the created application through Hyperion Planning(Try restarting Planning Services once even if you are able to launch hyperion planning page) url "http://servername:8300/HyperionPlanning and selecting the application you created.
And also could you please let me know if you are logging in to workspace through admin username ? and also check if you are able to see the application in shared services and try to provision any group on that application.
(The Assumptions are if application is not created successfully then it will not be available in workspace to launch and if its in maintainance mode (Application Maintenance Mode) in Application Settings and last would be check OHS and Hyperion Planning Services)

can anyone tell me how to open in Labview another application program. Is ActiveX the way to go here, but how do I know which ActiveX object to choose?

If you application is an exe you can use the sys exec function in labview. This will allow you to utilize the command prompt in LV. If you application is a DLL you can use the call library function. This will allow you to pass data in and out of the DLL using the correct function prototype. The sys exec is under the communication palette. Hope this helps. ActiveX is more for control external applications such as word or exec.

I have a couple of suggestions for you to look into and determine which is best for you application.
- Use a Two Edge Separation task to count ticks and not seconds (by changing the units) between a start and stop trigger. The two trigger signals will need to come from different sources. The KnowledgeBase (KB) linked below describes the task in further detail. This KB explains why a reference trigger is not recommended. Open up the C# example in the Measure 2 Edge Separation folder from the location listed in the previous post.

Unable to open Planning application through Workspace

Hi All,
I have Installed and configured the Hyperion products in the following Order
->Foundation services
->Essbase server
->Essbase Administration service
->Planning
->Reporting and Analysis
->Workspace
We know that workspace is a single user interface.
After configuring, I tried to open the Planning Application through workspace but I could not able to find "*Classic Application Administration*" under Administer option of Navigate menu Kindly guide me.

You don't need to start downloading weblogic.
Usually the issue is that either the web server has not been configured (this is not weblogic) or the permissions are not correct in shared services e.g. the hss roles of application creator, dimension editor.
You can always try going to create a planning application directly first http://<planningmachine>:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp

Could you please prompt me how should I specify JSESSIONID in url, when connecting to server to use previously created session if I already know the ID?
I tried [my_url]?JSESSIONID=[ID] but in servlet when I call req.getRequestedSessionId() is returns null.

Use a semi-colon

Every time I open the CC it doesn't give me an option to open the full application other than the click a button to 'view tutorials'

You open the application the normal way, just like any other application.
The CC desktop app is just for managing and updating, you don't open anything there.
