How should I set up my VI so that I can use the linear fit coefficient data analysis program, when my values are coming from while loops within a sequence structure?
I'm attempting to create a calibration program, using the printer port, and a Vernier Serial Box by modifying a calibration program designed for the serial box.
There are six calibration points, and to collect them, I have it controlled by while loops so that the numbers are taken when a button is pushed, and this is inside a sequence structure so that I can get the six different points. I feed these numbers into two different arrays (for x and y values) and then try to use the linear coefficient analysis on these points, but the values for the slope and intercepts it returns are not correc

If I cut out the array and coefficient analysis, and feed the same numbers in directly without the while loop and sequence structures, it produces the proper values... I don't know why the numbers it is producing are different, and I'd really like to know.

I would use a data manager sub-vi that would be called by each from of the sequence structure that produced a data point. The data manager sub-vi could auto append new items or could place items in a specific entry of an array. Later on when you want to calculate the linear fit, call the sub-vi to return the array of values.

Your iPad doesn't receive email from Outlook Express (or any other email client). It receives email from your email provider. To set up your email account on your iPad go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap Add Account and add your email provider's account settings with your username and password. iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail email settings are automatically entered by tapping the appropriate button. Others must be manually entered by tapping Other. (Exchange accounts will also require you to enter your email provider's settings.)

I have had my itunes account connected to my work email address for the past few years. I am now changing jobs and I am trying to change the email account connected to my itunes account. When I entered my personal email account it says there was already an account associated with that email address but I've never used it for anything since I created it a long time ago. Is there a way to cancel that account so that my personal email address is free to use on my current account that I currently have linked to my work email address?
Maybe he's referring to renaming another iTunes Store account after making the email address null and available to be used. Otherwise, I agree with you that it is pointless.

How do I set up my system so that I can program in C,C ? Without using Xcode. Just want to write simple "hello, world" stuff. So far, my Mac seem oblivious to my efforts even though it seems that all the files are there.
At first, it could not find gcc. Then I added /Developer/usr/bin to the path and it seemed to find gcc.
Then it didn't find stdio.h. I added /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.6.sdk/usr/include/ to the path but it still doesn't find stdio.h
There must be a standard C setup that my Mac is not conformaing to. How can I get set up like a regular Unix system and do C programming like I used to?

JfromGNone of the responses/experiences seems to apply to me. Let me ask the question this way, because it's partly for my education and also I'd like to program in C. Let's say I have a Unix box and I want to program in C. What files need to be where in what directories? And why wouldn't that work on a Mac? My impression is that the Mac OS X 10.8 contains all I need, but it doesn't work. At least I don't think it does. I may be out in left field here. But surely, being a Unix box, I can get this machine to compile C code in something like the usual fashion. I don't need editors or development environments beyond the basic stuff - unless your telling me maybe I do! Anyway, just wondering what files need to go where in order to compile C programs. Thanks for you forbearance. I appreciate it.

How do I setup my Airport Extreme so that I can extend the coverage of my existing AT&T wifi network?
Start by establishing a permanent fixed Ethernet cable connection from one of the available LAN <-> ports on the ATT modem/router to the WAN "O" port on the AirPort Extreme.
Ethernet cabling can be run up to 300+ feet or 100 meters, so you should be able to locate the AirPort Extreme exactly where it will be needed to provide more wireless signal coverage.
Configure the AirPort Extreme to "create" a wireless network using exactly the same wireless network name, same wireless security setting, and same wireless network password that the ATT wireless is using.
The final step is to insure that the AirPort Extreme is configured to operate in Bridge Mode, so it will work correctly with the ATT modem/router.
If you need more specific steps, we need to know what operating system you are using on your Mac or PC. If you have a Mac and do not know which operating system it is using.....click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X version number that you see there. -

You can't delete all cookies if you want to preserve some of them.
You will have to let all cookies expire when you close Firefox and create an allow exception for cookies that you want to keep and only clear cookies manually and not via Clear Recent History.

thank youNo it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -
How to name items that are coming from forEach loop
I have an arraylist of String[]'s that I need to display on the screen. I am sorting through the arrayList and pulling the values I need and displaying them without a problem. Two of the values from the String[] the user can modify. The problem is that when they modify it they aren't being mapped back to the original ArrayList when I submit the form. There seem to me to be two possible answers... A. It can't be done, or B I don't know what to name the values.
So here is the code I am using and then I'll explain how I've worked around the problem.

</table>Right now when I submit the page I get String[]'s returned for each of the columns... I thing use the position string[] that contains the position the row was pulled from the arraylist at and loop through the arrays and put them back in the arraylist... that way when I revisit the screen the arraylist still contains the users changes...
This all works.. but I was wondering if there was a better way to do this. .. ie name the deNumber input something else that will map directly back to the arrayList?

You can use the jakarta commons BeanUtils package to automatically populate
Therefore the answer is B if you consider this approach.
Each individual textfield gets numbered. This is resolved by the BeanUtils package.
You don't NEED struts to do this. You can use the BeanUtils class on its own. I haven't done too much research into it though :-)

When I try to buy something, I get an Apple-ID which is not the one I want to use, and I don't know how to get rid of it either, so that I can replace it with my ID in Mail, contacts etc. The ID I get without wanting it, I can't find anywhere. How do I delete Windows 7 from Paralells so that I can use the Product Key on a different computer?

Now, I was able to install Windows 7 on my computer but I cannot activate it, since I can only use the Product Key for one computer. How can I get the Product Key deactivated so that I can use it on my computer?

The new itunes overfills the window on my desktop ( windows 7). When I move it to the left so that I can access the slidebar on the right, part of the left side of the screen then disappears. How do I correct this?
The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...

I have multiple Apple devices using the same Apple ID for all devices. I work in the Middle East and my wife is in Russia. I would like to Facetime between my different devices. Is this possible with all devices registered with the same Apple ID. It is just easier for find my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air and for purchasing Apps. Is this possible and how do I set it up.
Create Apple IDs for everyone individually and use that in Settings > Facetime, Settings > Messages, Settings > Game Center but keep the Apple ID used for app and content purchases in Settings > iTunes and App Stores

Those that fully integrate with Connect are MeetingOne, Intercall, Arkadin and Premiere Global. You can use any SIP enable provider though (I'd be shocked if you could find one that isn't SIP to be honest).
