Both are totally different in this case.
Stuck thread timeout is specific to weblogic monitoring guide line which inform you how long every thread is in process continuously by default it would 600 sec if any thread is taken more than 600 sec to finish off its work then weblogic will throw an error message that specific thread took more than 600 seconds.
Note: Mostly of the time these stuck thread are not really an issue
Where are JTA timeout on global side is specific to your every transaction either from EJB or JMS or JDBC transaction.
This timeout will rule on every individual.

Cells in Category rows 'exist' only when those categories are inserted using the Reorganize table. Those cells cannot be referenced from other cells.
If you want a category summed, you will need to do that in a cell that is still visible when the table is not sorted into categorie using the Reorganize pane. The function to use is SUMIF. You can find information regarding SUMIF (and SUMIFS) in the iWork Formulas and Functions User Gude. The guide may be downloaded using the link in the Help menu in Numbers '09.

LOV query is invalid, a display and a return value are needed

hello - i am having this issue and can't get around this when creating a popup LOV based on sql.
below is LOV query. as you see the view has only two columns. I tried various ways by giving alias to columns in query but nothing works. What did I miss here?
select description,inventory_item_id from xx_apex_inv_v

How to decrease timeout value when there is no response from BOE server?

We are using BOE XI R2 .NET SDK to logon BOE XI R2 Server as below as well as using Infoview/CMC logon BOE:
set boSessionManager = Server.CreateObject("CrystalEnterprise.SessionMgr")
set boEnterpriseSession = boSessionManager.Logon(boUserID, boPassword, boCMS, boAuthType)
There is no response for long time from BOE server after I excuting log on BOE using .NET SDK or Infoview/CMC App for more than one minute.
So I want to timeout the logon atction after a certain time such as one minute if there is no response from BOE server.
My question comes:
1. What is the default timeout value for this operation?
    Where can I find it and how to modify it?
2. I found ther are some registry keys on .NET APP Server:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Report Application Server\InprocServer\EnterpriseRequestTimeout
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Report Application Server\Client SDK\CorbaAdapter\WaitReplyTimeout
Are they for the action timeout I mentioned above? If not, what do they work for?
It seems that WaitReplyTimeout is for report data retrieval timeout according to Kbase article 1199286 and which registry setting to change for long running reports, is it correct?

I don't think there is a setting available for this. The timeouts you are looking at are essentially how long to wait for a report to process.
My concern about trying to find a setting like this is that if you do get the client (aka SDK) to timeout after one minute, the CMS may still recieve this request shortly after and logon, creating a session that no longer has a handle to it and will then have to wait for it to timeout because of inactivity which would tie up a license.

How to keep Opacity and Blending Mode values

I'm working with shades/highlights and since I have to make many shapes with the same values of color, opacity, blending mode, I wonder how can I make it to keep them configured, so I dont have to go to each path and change the values every time. The only value that stays is the color, but for example, the opacity changes everytime I start a new shape with the pen tool, and as I said, I'm working with shadings for a portrait, so I have to make lots of shapes with the same characteristics. Does somebody know a way to set these values and keep them "by default" so to say??

We have done rejection of materials ( 122 mvt type) from UD , the materials are exciseable and for that we are creating rejection invoice in J1IS transaction , the document is getting posted but when we check the accounting entries we could see only Basic Act CENVAT - DEBIT and Cenvat Clearing A/C - CREDIT , there is no entries of Cess and Edu cess in accounting document. I have checked the configuration both Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction & Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction , but everything seems to be correct for me , do let me know if there is any setting/configuration missing. We are using TAXINN procedure.

I created a business in which i am using one variable of String type with RTP enabled.
Now i don't want my user to enter this value while executing business rule, instead i want to provide a fix/constant value for that variable. How can i do that.
Basically my intention is to put that business rule inside a rule twice with 2 diff values

Have you tried setting the variable as a member type, applying it against a dimension and then giving it a default value.
