How to access BW RFC FM as web service from Enterprise portal using SSO

We have developed a custom remote function module in our BW system. We are accessing this function module as a webservice from a java class we have written. This java class access the BW webservice and formats the output. We created a webservice on top of this java class and deployed on the Enterprise Portal. SSO is setup between EP and BW systems. So when i make call to the BW RFC webservice, i would like to make use of SSO setup between EP and BW instead of hardcoding the user id and password while calling the webservice. Please advise on how to achive this.

Hi,
Go to webserive perspective -> WebService Configuration -> Expand config node->Security-> Select HTTP Authentication and check Use SAP logon tickets option.

Ich möchte aus einer Portal Applikation auf einen Web Service zugreifen.
Dafür habe ich mit dem Wizard "Portal Service from Wsdl file - Client side"
eine Portal Service erzeugt, auf den ich dann zugreife.
Leider wird dabei ein Fehler ausgegeben (Stacktrace-Ausschnitt s.u.).
Ich habe ein Posting zu dem Fehler hier im SDN gefunden, leider hatte dort niemand eine Antwort. Vielleicht hat inzwischen jemand eine Idee?
Das Feld soapaction ist in der soapconfig.xml leer angegeben (soapaction="").
Es ändert aber nichts an der Fehlermeldung, wenn ich dort etwas eintrage.
Ein weiterer Gedanke ist, dass die soapaction, die wenn ich es richtig verstehe eine URL auf die web service methode enthalten soll, im Grunde dynamisch sein sollte, da der Web Service lokal in dem Portal läuft, auf dem die Applikation gerade deployed ist. Auf den Web Service wird mit WebDynPro erfolgreich zugegriffen (dynamisch). Meine Vermutung ist, dass hier das Problem liegt und es entweder mit diesem Wizard nicht möglich ist oder ein Bug vorliegt.
Also ist die Frage: Wie erzeuge ich dasselbe für eine Portal-Applikation?
Ich hoffe, dass mir jemand mit einer Antwort oder Hinweisen wo man weiterforschen kann, weiterhelfen kann.

I am accessing a web service from a Portal Component through a Portal Web Service. First i created a web service, then a portal web service which is made to access the wsdl file of the web service. Now i access the Portal Web Service from a Portal Component. Now i am getting an error as,

javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: The message with Action '' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to a ContractFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. This may be because of either a contract mismatch (mismatched Actions between sender and receiver) or a binding/security mismatch between the sender and the receiver. Check that sender and receiver have the same contract and the same binding (including security requirements, e.g. Message, Transport, None).
Can you help me find what am I doing wrong?

How to pass username/password to BPEL web service from java proxy?

Hi all,
Environment : SOA Suite 11g
I am using basic http authentication in my SOA services using "oracle/wss_http_token_client_policy" policy. Now i need to invoke these SOA web services from a java proxy.
Please let me know how this can be done.

How to compile and deploy JAX-WS web service from commandline (!) ?

I have read a couple of tutorials about how to create and deploy web services with
certain IDEs (e.g. Eclipse).
But I found no guide on how to compile a java web service source from command line !!
Lets say I have a java source class with annotations inside (like "@WebMethod").
How do I generate with the built-in j2ee v5 tools from a web service from command line and deploy it e.g. to TomCat or JBoss ?
Is there somewhere such a simple step-by-step intro?

You can download JWSDP 2.0 from sun and install it. Under jaxws (the installed directory) you can find sample directory which has build.xml can be run from command prompt using ant. if you want in detail means go through the build.xml and use wsgen.bat or wsimport under the bin directory of jaxws

Consuming web service from ecc6.0:using webservice proxy -service call

 On SYSTEM A
AS POC we have generated web service from BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST from ECC6.0.
0.we tested using web browser it was working fine.Then saved the WSDL to local pc
On SYSTEM B
1.I have created proxy using wsdl saved on local pc,
2. Created RFC Destination Type "H" giving the web service path
path : /sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/ZBAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST_WSD host & http port number.
3. created Logical port using LPCONFIG adn provided the RFC destination.
4. created service call from abap dynpro by using third option "web service proxy"
then selected the proxy generated above.
when i go to component controller context and see,
 exporting
 output
 FLIGHT_LIST
Under FLIGHT_LIST i dont see the node Item then list of elements under that.
How to use this in view as such i dont see output individual parameters??
If i use function module and create service call
then i could see properly like and could use it in view.
 CHANGING
 FLIGHT_LIST
 AIRLINEID

Calling a web service from BPM without using bridge S/A

Hi Experts,
I want to call a web service from a BPM and I want to call it asyncronously. That is by having my request and my response as a separate interface.
I already did it by calling another BPM, this one with a bridge, but I don't like this solution.

The points of my scenario:
-There's a BPM
-Send and Receive in BPM have to be asynchronous
-It have to comunicate with a WS wich is synchronous
-I thought that, may be, playing with the receiver SOAP adapter modules I will achieve to send the response to another SOAP adapter, a sender one, and then have my ASYNC/SINC scenario as it's described here: File - RFC - File without a BPM - Possible from SP 19.

How to embed user credentials in Secured Web Service from OBIEE 11gFMW?

I am trying to invoke a webservice that I successfully exposed as a WSDL Web Service using EBS Integrated SOA Gateway. I am using OBIEE 11g Action Framework which uses WebLogic.
Here are the steps I completed:
- I exposed a WSDL web service in EBS R12 via Integrated SOA Gateway
- I granted the access to this service in EBS R12 to user SYSADMIN
- I used OBIEE 11g to make a Action to call the Web service (using Action Framework) by searching for the WSDL
- When I try to execute the action: I get the error:

Unable to access end point while invoking web service from bpel

We are trying to Consume Web Service in our SOA Application and we are getting the following error:-
"java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/yyyyyyy.svc ".
Scenario*:-
1.The Web Service that we are trying to consume is built on Microsoft Dynamics AX Framework and is using Windows Authentication and we are using Oracle Soa Suite 11g(11.1.1.5) to access it.
2.The Web Serice is Hosted on IIS server 7.0 . The Soa server and IIS server both are on the same domain(Also need to confirm that is there any need to pass credentials while consuming Web Services when both the servers are on same domain??).
3.We have tested the Web Service in SOAP UI and is working fine only when we pass the Username,Password and Domain.And if we do not pass the User Credentials then we get the following error:-
" 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied."
4.We can even access the WSDL from the browser.
Plz help me out to resolve this issue.Will be really greatfull

How to call web services from Acrobat API using VC++

Hi,
I have api plugin which installs custom menu and tool bar to adobe acrobat. In this plugin once user installs this plugin, he need to activate this tool by entering key value. this limites to limited number of users (which is decided by client while buying).
I am using javascript and VC++ with Visual studio 2008.
So can some one suggest me how can i achive this.

First, this is the scripting forum. You want the SDK forum.
Second, this isn't an Acrobat issue. It's a C++ programming issue. If you want to connect to a web service you'll need to use the windows or mac socket interface. If you're doing this using MFC then there is a library for internet interactions. If not, I'm sure there is still a library for it, I know there is a system API, you'll just have to look around. But the main point is that it's completely outside the Acrobat SDK.

1. selected the UDDI or URL option after decalring the model name and package.
2. Default metadata destination = ImgGen
3. Definig execution destination = Exec.
4. Entered the WSDL url AND GENERATED THE WEB SERVICES SUCCESSFULLY.( HTTP://(SERVERNAme):port/WSName/some.asmx?WSDL )
I HAVE DEFINED dYNAMIC PROXY USING vISUAL ADMIN.
Visual admin >> Web services security >> Runtime >> security configuration >> Webservice clients >> sap.com >> DynamicWSProxies >>
Gave destination Name same as default metadata and created one more for execution( step 2 aND 3) AND url =(HTTP://(SERVERNAme):port/WSName/some.asmx)

I need to push my webdynpro application into QA system. so third party webservices also move to it's own QA system.
Now Once I need to move my code to QA the webservice should point to third party webservice's QA system.
This is the reason I am defining them in the Visual admin.
This works fine when I use without using default destiation metadata and execution .
Since I need to move them to QA and at the same time webservice host is also moving to its QA server, I need to change the reference so that my webdynro model points to the QA server where the webservice is pointing.
Please note WebAS QA server where my webdynpro for java program is depoloyed and the WEbservice is hosted in a different server and is a non SAP webservice.

Calling a web dynpro application via portal using SSO

i have a requirement where i need to call a web dnpro application via portal.
But it is asking for user name and password.
i want to call using single sign on.
Can u please suggest a way.

Hi Mahesh,
You need to setup a Single Sign On between SAP Portal and ECC system where yoy are doing the development.
Ask basis team to setup the single sign on and usually this is the job done by Basis teams. Refer the below link to get some idea on SSO setup:

How to pass credentials to an external web service from BPEL in 11g

Hi All,
I am using JDev,SOA 11.1.1.2.0.
In our process we are calling siebel service which is a secured one and it does not use wsse security headers.
In siebel service i am passing username and password through soap headers.
What we need to do apart from this?
In 10g we have done this by passing these values through invoke activity.
In 11g i did not find any thing like this.
Please help me out.

How can I run a Local PC executable file from Enterprise Portal?

I want to run local PC executable files from inside the portal. To be more specific I want to be able to open the Outlook and some powerbuilder executable applications.
How can I do it?

If you absolutely want to do it, you can use vbscript for it (though there are a lot of security contstraints)

Integrating the Google Web-Service in Enterprise Portal

I am trying to integrate Google WebService in SAP Enterprise Portal. I created the Client side portal service from WSDL. From the PDK help I copied the GooglePage.java code and placed in the dynapage.
Now after porting the .par file I am getting the interface for search.But when I am clicking search button I am getting the following error..
