  • How to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.

    Hi Connoisseur
    The data transfer from Abap WebDeypro to flex island works well. I followed , there is an example from Thomas Jung (by the way as always Great Work) and  Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys) but this example covers simple type only.
    There is no example with complex types like arrayCollection which handle the transfer of data from flex to WebDynpro.
    i tried to do pass internal table value  to flex-datagrid.but its not work.
    i would like to know
    1.how to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.
    2.how to pass the internal table to flex-datagrid.
    2.how to pass dynamically in ADOBE flex.
    3. how to do Flex is receiving the wd context data?
    4. how can we update WD context with FLEX data.
    Ple give me sample example and step by step procedure.

  • How can I get a parameter back into a servlet invoked from an IMG tag ?

    I'm using a servlet to create several graphical plots per JSP i.e. per HTML page. Each graph is supposed to be different, according to a parameter which I want to pass back from my JSP. I'm getting several plots but they're all the same!
    I've tried setting an attribute in the session object before each IMG SRC= , but all I get is each plot the same! In fact, my debugging efforts show that the servlet is only called once despite 3 calls, each with a different session parameter value. I'm not sure the session parameter values are getting used properly.
    I just can't find a way of getting a parameter back into my servlet which is invoked from the IMG tag (i.e. SRC= "servlet name").
    Can anyone tell me the best way to pass a parameter back into a servlet which is invoked from an IMG tag? Can the request object be used? I can't, at the moment, see how it could be used?
    I'll certainly be very grateful if anyone can help with this - could even be useful for others as well!

    You said that, "by moving a copy of Mobile Docs back to the Library, from which I had moved it, my documents reapperared in Cloud." That says that you actually moved it. Obviously, I can't tell exactly what you did, but it sounds like you may have thought you were just putting it in the sidebar, but you actually put it somewhere else. The sidebar is not a location to put things, just a way to create a quick shortcut to access a file or folder, so you can't put things "back" from there.

  • How to access(connect) BI Data in webdynpro for java applications

    Hi ,
    is there any way to access and display the BI data in portal using webdynpro for java applications like we did in Visual composer.
    if not how to integrate the BI data in webdynpro applications ?
    Regards,
    Govindu

    Hi,
    Yes there are ways to do it. But may your scenario and the scenario for which I have done may differ.
    You can use openhub to get the data in a flat file and then read it into weddynpro through a java service OR
    You can use DBlink(which i have done).
    Please refer the link below:
    [Link|Data from BW to Oracle.;
    This I have done in NW04s. Not sure whether a better solution is available in the newer release.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to access GET-parameters in portal url

    Is it possible to access GET-parameters in a bsp application in an iview in the enterprise portal, and if so, how do I do it?
    If you look at the url of this post (/message/1514719#1514719 [original link is broken])
    I would like to have the value of "forumID" in the bsp application in the iview with shortlink "thread".

    Raja,
    your solution is what I was initially looking for, so thank you.
    Can you also supply a link to the article you refer to?  I can't find it:-)
    But while looking for this I found something even better, a way to pass parameters to an iview without having to define them in the iview ApplicationParameter-property.
    Apparently the trick is to add the parameter "DynamicParameter" to the url, that translates to different parameters in your bsp application(iview).
    So if you want your bsp application to have the parameters "roomid=555&date=01.01.2007" your url should be
    http://bla/irj/portal/rooms?DynamicParameter=roomid%3D555%26date%3d01.01.2007
    where %3D is the ascii representation of "=" and %26 is the ascii representation of &.
    I found this here : /message/529588#529588 [original link is broken] , but in this thread they say to separate the parameters by a ";", whereas for me it only works when i use %26 (&).

  • How to access getter/setters from the entity classes

    Let me brake my question to two:
    1. in My JSP page, I need to get an exception from either the entity or the view class if I insert a duplicate value into the associated table. How can I do that?
    2. How can I access the entity's getter/setter functions in the JSP page?
    Thank you

    Let me brake my question to two:
    1. in My JSP page, I need to get an exception from either the entity or the view class if I insert a duplicate value into the associated table. How can I do that?You can mark the attribute as unique key attribute and choose to implement the unique-key validation in the Bc4J side. See help on UniqueKey and how to establish such validation
    2. How can I access the entity's getter/setter functions in the JSP page?You cannot access entities directly. You have to expose the accessors via ViewObject Rows and use those Rows from the JSP/or any client side.
    Thank you

    field-symbols:
    <fs_any> type any,

  • How to get a parameter without name in JSP?

    hi everyone, My question is how to get a parameter without name in JSP? I have two pages, 1.html and 2.jsp.
    in 1.html, I embeds some Javascript codes in HTML contents like below ( changed < to ( , > to )):
    function toSubWin( obj )
    window.open('test.jsp?'+obj.firstChild.toString(),'sw');
    (a onClick='toSubWin(this)'style="background:green")focus(/a)
    How can I get the parameter in 2.jsp?
    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

    Does obj.firstChild.toString() evaluate to a "name=value" type of String ?
    Or better what does obj.firstChild.toString(),'sw' evaluate to ? It has to end up in a name=value format, else its just gibberish appended to the url.
    In the jsp, you have to obviously know the name to get the parameter. There's a getParameterNames() method which returns you a Collection of parameter names as Strings, you could probably use that to retrieve the param values.
    Then there's a getParameterMap() method which returns an immutable Map containing parameter names as keys and parameter values as map values. The keys in the parameter map are of type String. The values in the parameter map are of type String array.
    However to what ends you employ them in a program which doesnt know its inputs is a different story.
    cheers,
    ram.

  • How do I pass a parameter from one page to another page?

    Hi,
    There are two JSF pages(a.jspx and b.jspx), when click a link(e.g...b.jspx?parameter=123) on a.jspx, it will forward to b.jspx, my question is that how can i get the parameter=123 in b.jspx?
    i use adf 10g.
    thank you very much!
    Edited by: Yitao Li on Jul 13, 2009 2:20 AM

    Hello,
    I would recommend to avoid using visible parameters in your querystring.
    In adf 10g on your command link/button you can use thesetActionListener to set something in the request scope or even better, a backing bean.
                  <af:commandLink text="text"
                                  action="pageB">
                    <af:setActionListener from="<yourvalue>" to="#{requestScope.parameter}"/>
                  </af:commandLink>You can then access this value on the next page without making the paramater visible to others.
    This can be done with the code Simon provided.

    IResourceFactory resFactory = ResourceFactory.getInstance();
    IRepositoryServiceFactory serFactory = resFactory.getServiceFactory();
    IPropertyConfigurationService propConfigService = (IPropertyConfigurationService) serFactory.getService("PropertyConfigurationService");
    IMetaNameListIterator i = propConfigService.getMetaModel().nameIterator();
         while (i.hasNext()) {
         IMetaName metaname = i.next();
         if ( metaname.getDocumentPatterns()!= null){
         propertyData.setId(metaname.getName());
         propertyData.setName(metaname.getLabel(locale));
         propertyData.setNamespace(metaname.getNamespace());
         propertyData.setDescription(metaname.getDescription(locale));
         propertyList.add(propertyData);

  • How to access module parameters?

    Hi,
    I'm developing own module for XI File Adapter.
    I found in the weblogs how to get source file name. Thanks.
    But how do I get custom parameter specified for the module?
    Where could I check all readable parameters, apart from source file name? For instance source dir?
    Thanks.

    Hi
    The parameter "moduleContext" in the process (moduleContext,inputModuleData) method has a method getContextData(String name)....
    This can be used to read the module configuration parameters.
    For the filename, i believe you are doing the following:-
    using the getSupplementalData(String param) of inputModuleData with the value for param being 'module.parameters' to get a hashtable and out of the hash table you are reading an entry for "FileName"
    So let me suggest you a wild try...Did you try checking for "SourceDirectory" in the hashtable?
    You could also get all the keys/values in this hashtable and put it somewhere in the xml and see what all parameters are there in message monitoring(This is just a suggestion for a simple debugging...).
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
    What is the path you have referred in portal-app.xml and the same path has to be given form action.
    Define the path in portal-app.xml to call the test2.jsp, if possible paste the code portal-app.xml.
    Check this threads as well.

    HI,
    Since webdynpros follows Model View Controller Architecture You can access EJBs in webdynpro(views/frontend) infact to connec to database uding JDBC you have to utilise EJB ( opening connection to database closing, and other Business functionality).See this link
