  • After updating IE7, Firefox 3.6 no longer store history--back button in Firefox can't access previous pages.

    Yesterday a security update for IE7 was automatically downloaded into my computer. Now the history feature of Firefox is working poorly. Often it doesn't save previous pages for the back button to access during an online session. The few times I've been able to navigate back to a Google search page, the search terms I've used previously are absent. However most often today, the browser doesn't even acknowledge that there were previous pages and the back button remains grayed out.

    Damodar,
    To include an existing JSP page as a portlet have a look in the PDK section http://portalcenter.oracle.com there is lots useful information. The two things you might find most relevant is a paper on creating java portlets. This paper has a section on turning an existing JSP page into a portlet
    http://portalstudio.oracle.com/pls/ops/docs/FOLDER/COMMUNITY/PDK/ARTICLES/HOW.TO.BUILD.A.JAVA.PORTLET.USING.PDK.JAVA.V2.HTML
    and to pass parameters and events

  • How to remember previous page in a JSP page that's reloaded

    I have a JSP page where i want a "back" link that brings me back to the previous page. The problem is, some actions on this page will call a servlet that reloads my page, so using history.back() brings me back to the previous version of the same page.
    What is a good way to solve this in a servlet/JSP application?

    I just wrote a simple bean with a few methods that i frequently use.
    the bean is session scope, and you just call something like
    setCurrentPagePath(), and you build your link up by calling getCurrentPagePath()
    before settings the new one.

  • How to access the Mobile Time & Travel database tables?

    How can I access the database tables stored in SAPMobileEngine\webapps\me\WEB-INF\wwwroot\te_data\customer\database_2_0\<name_of_declared_table>  ??
    Formerly the tables were stored in ...\database as XML files and could be viewed with a standard texteditor. Now the files are stored in ...\database_2_0 as DAT files in a special format. How can I get access to the tables? (like longtext.dat or CATS_MY_TABLE_*.DAT)

    Michael,
    Are you running MTT 1.6 SR2 Patch 03?
    The database is in serialized format and you will have unserialized them by using Eclipse IDE (or NW Development Studio). This will convert it to xml format. But I think the application itself will need it to be serialized format.

  • How to implement a page showing different database tables

    I am wondering what is the best way to implement the following task:
    On the left side of a page, there are two Listboxes. On the right side of the page, I want to display different database tables depending on the selected value from those two Listboxes.

    I am wondering what is the best way to implement the
    following task:
    On the left side of a page, there are two Listboxes.
    On the right side of the page, I want to display
    different database tables depending on the selected
    value from those two Listboxes.A Data Table component isn't really designed to dynamically swap which database table you're binding too (and therefore which set of columns you will display) under the covers. Here are a couple of general strategies to consider for accomplishing your functional requirements:
    * Create a separate Data Table component for each possible database table, all on the same page, and dynamically set the "rendered" property of the selected Data Table to true, while setting it to false for all other Data Tables. That way, only the corect one will be shown.
    * Create a separate page for each Data Table, using a similar look and feel so that it appears to the user like it's all the same page. To save cutting and pasting the list components, put them in a JSP Page Fragment so they can be reused on each page. ((SIDE NOTE: This is a very common technique for simulating what looks like tabbed panes, but where the implementation actually uses separate pages.))
    * Use frames so that the left frame (containing the list boxes) stays the same, and the right frame switches to a different page for each of the tables. This is essentially another way to share the list components across the pages.
    * Abandon all the ease-of-use stuff Creator provides for binding to data tables, and write code that programmatically erases all the old child components and creates new ones. This is the sort of thing you'd need to do for a "SQL BROWSER" sort of application, where the set of columns is not known ahead of time.

  • How to access previously purchased downloads?

    Hello,
    I have previously bought the photoshop elements 11 and downloaded it on my desk top. well now i have bought a macbook pro and needed to know how to download what i purchased as a download into the mac.  I would appreciate any help please thank you. i have signed into the my photo shop.  The download i need is it in the products tab?

    Have you tried logging in to your Adobe account and see which products are registered under your email address?
    If you haven't registered any products (because registration was not mandatory in those bad old days) then you can still register it by going to your old machine and then going to:
    Help >> Product Registration.
    However, let me make one thing absolutely clear before you waste any time downloading a big fat file.  The serial number for PC MAY NOT work in Apple Mac machine for downloaded products.  So it is up to you to try it but there are no guarantees.  The only time these serial numbers are interchangeable is when you buy the boxed versions from Amazon and other big stores who supply you with both media types - PCs as well as MACs

  • How to access Previous Records' Data from within a Query?

    Hi All,
    I am making a report in which I need to compare my "Registration Start Date" with "Registration End Date" of previous registration of same customer. This is to check if there are gaps between any customer's registrations.
    In scenario shown below, I want to filter out RegID '1' as it comes after a gap from previous registration(RegID '3') of the same customer.
    RegID CustID Registration Start Registration End
    1 1 01/04/2005 07/04/2005
    2 2 01/03/2005 29/05/2005
    3 1 21/03/2005 29/03/2005
    4 1 01/03/2005 21/04/2005
    I created the join of this table with itself to pick previous records. it is something like:
    Current_Rec.Cust ID = Prev_Rec.CustID AND
    Current_Rec.RegStart > Prev_Rec.RegEnd
    But this gives wrong data if customer has 3 back-to-back registrations. i.e. Shows last registration in query results as their is a gap between 3rd and 1st registration. But ofcourse there was another record between these two(which was 2nd registration).
    It would be so nice of you guys if you can suggest a solution to this. Any oracle function?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ahsan

    I Assume the following is your sample data
    Table Name: Tab1
    RegID CustID Registration_Start      Registration_End
    1      1      01/04/2005           07/04/2005
    2      2      01/03/2005           29/05/2005
    3      1      21/03/2005           29/03/2005
    4      1      01/03/2005           21/03/2005
    Note : For the Regid "4" I have changed the Registration_End to 21/03/2005. It was earlier 21/04/2005.
    Coming to the query, you need to generate the list of regid that have gaps.
    Try the following query:
    SELECT c.*
    FROM tab1 c
    WHERE c.reg_id NOT IN (
    SELECT a.reg_id
    FROM tab1 a, tab1 b
    WHERE a.cust_id = b.cust_id
    AND a.registration_end = b.registration_start
    Note: I am sorry I didn't have access to the data base to execute my query. Correct me if I am wrong.

  • How to access Parent page UIComponent from inlineFrame using ADF javascript

    Hi,
    My application includes an <af:inlineFrame component on the top portion of the page. It contains a table with delete option for the end user. Requirement is after user has deleted all the records of the table and table has no records to display, inlineFrame needs to be made invisible so that the bottom portion content of my page will get stretched fully and has more visibility to the user. Hence when user click on Delete button of the table, after delete operation, I am planning to check the row count and write javascript to client using ExtendedRenderKitService to make the inlineframe invisible.
    Question:
    1. What is the right ADF javascript API to access the parent page and work with its components. I came to know we can call using 'parent.document.getElementById' but I want to know correct ADF's javascript API.
    Thanks in Advance
    Raghu

    The way you suggested didn't help me.
    Yes.. This inlineFrame content is also a part of the same application only. The reason why it is kept in inlineFrame is it is an ADS implemented table. ADS is able to push the data to the table provided we should keep the application idle. If I keep on working with the application (i.e. request/response happens because user works with the bottom portion content of the page), ADS is not able to push the data to UI. Keeping the ADS implemented table in a top portion still but inside an inlineFrame has solved this problem.
    Given below my page design
       main.jspx
       ======
       <af:form id="f1"....
           <af:inlineframe source="faces/page/employee.jspx" />
       </form>
       employee.jspx
       =========
       <af:form id="f2"
        </form>
                 In the employee.jspx only I have delete button and javascript which is suppose to find the parent page (i.e. main.jspx) and to work with inlineframe component to make it visible/invisible based on whether table gets records or no records. (This javascript call will happen with the help of ClientListener set for the ADS implemented table with event type as propertyChange) Intention is to check the row count of the table during every javascript call and to go to parent page, find the inlineframe, make it visible or invisible.

  • How to get the data from mysql database which is being accessed by a PHP application and process the data locally in adobe air application and finally commit the changes back in to mysql database through the PHP application.

    How to get the data from mysql database which is being accessed by a PHP application and process the data locally in adobe air application and finally commit the changes back in to mysql database through the PHP application.

    If the data is on a remote server (for example, PHP running on a web server, talking to a MySQL server) then you do this in an AIR application the same way you would do it with any Flex application (or ajax application, if you're building your AIR app in HTML/JS).
    That's a broad answer, but in fact there are lots of ways to communicate between Flex and PHP. The most common and best in most cases is to use AMFPHP (http://amfphp.org/) or the new ZEND AMF support in the Zend Framework.
    This page is a good starting point for learning about Flex and PHP communication:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/flex_php.html
    Also, in Flash Builder 4 they've added a lot of remote-data-connection functionality, including a lot that's designed for PHP. Take a look at the Flash Builder 4 public beta for more on that: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashbuilder4/

  • VB 2008, CR component and MS Acc: how to access with database(not user) pwd

    These are the detail of the query:
    1. MS Access 2003 and later database via OLE DB provide for entry of a u201Cdatabase passwordu201D to provide additional protection.
    2. In VB 2005 and in VB2008 environment I have managed to establish a connection with a database password and open recordsets using ADO connection. See code below.
    Note. stPassword is user password and stDBPassword is database password with the following code:
    With cnn
              'set connection string
              .ConnectionString "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Password=" & stPassword & ";Data Source=T:\CPI.mdb;User ID=" & stUser & ";Persist Security Info=False;" & "Jet OLEDB:System database=t:\cpi.mdw;Jet OLEDB:Database Password=" & stDBPassword
              .Open()
    End With
    3. When using Crystal Reports component supplied with VS 2008 I can only provide USER NAME and USER PASSWORD. No information is available how and where to enter DATABASE PASSWORD to the Crystal Reports component. As a result, Crystal Reports Viewer starts to run. Obviously access is denied because no DATABASE PASSWORD has been provided to the component. A common dialog comes up to enter database password.
    4. User does not necessarily need know the DATABASE password and I am not interested in providing the database password to every user who runs reports. In this project database password serves as a form of protection from tampering with the database structure and contents through the use MS Access to access the database.
    5. Here is the code to demonstrate logon via Crystal Component described above:
    Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
    Imports CrystalDecisions.Shared
    And then in a sub:
        Dim cnnInfo As ConnectionInfo = New ConnectionInfo()
        'cnnInfo.DatabaseName = cnn.DefaultDatabase
        cnnInfo.UserID = stUser
        cnnInfo.Password = stPassword
    No place to input DATABASE password!!!
    Does anyone know how can I input database password or provide a connection string or maybe ADO connection object which is opened within the project code.

    It seems like it is not possible to set the DB level password with the CR Visual Studio bundled version (as stated in the following KB c2010267). You would need to use the full version, and use the code below:
    Symptom
    A VB .NET application uses Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET as the reporting development tool.
    A report is created that connects to a password protected Microsoft Access Database.
    How do you pass a password (for database level security) or a password and user ID (for user level security) at runtime using the different connection methods(Native/ODBC/OLEDB)?
    Resolution
    To pass the database level password or a user level
    userid/password at runtime, use the following code
    sample:
    'Add the following namespaces to the top of the code
    'page
    Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine

    For Each crTable in crTables
    crTableLogonInfo.ConnectionInfo =
