How to add a dba group in Unix after Installation

I need help in figuring out how to add a dba group, which one would do prior to installation, but how can one do it after installation?
I need to have a group that will have people allowed to start and stop oracle. Is this possible to modify to do after installation?

you should have received a letter from the Oracle Certification Program where the logo usage is stated, otherwise you can go to the Oracle Education site for further information.
On the other hand, logo and title usage may mean different things, there are countries where showing a document or a degree is more important thant the knowledge and experience; there are other countries where it is the other way around. Either way, showing an OCA (logo or reference) in a resume isn´t considered enough to make a difference in a very keen and competitive job market.

Hi,
Using JNDI how to add user as a member of group which is present in another AD domain?
For example: In AD forest test.com their are two domain a.test.com and b.test.com. Group is present in a.test.com and I want to add user present in b.test.com as a member of the group.
Any pointer around this would be great help.

If the group is a universal group, you can just add members similar to local group even if user and group are in different domains. That is by setting the member attribute of the group.

Hi Venkat,
We don't make any design changes in production box. Usually you make changes in Development box then transport that object with request to Quality box. You test the changed object there, if no inconsistancies found you will transport the object to Production box with same request.
In development box, if you want to add the new attribute to the characterstic, you need to delete the complete data in the characterstic.

How to add a Calender Group in a shared Calender

Hi,
I have an iCal server running.
I have an account "shared calender"
that will be shared between multiple computers.
The server works and all the events entered on one client show up on the other clients upon synch.
But how can I add "calender groups" to this shared iCal ?
When adding a new "calender group" it wll be added to my local account not the shared account....
Googling did not come up with anything useful
Any hints ?

How to add addresses to groups in iPad? How to send to group?

Address book has not synced properly from my computer to Mobile Me for ages, well before I added my iPad to my stable of products. I've gone through all the advice here and traveled unsuccessful loops to push it or force it to sync again. I deleted every address manually from MobileMe and had it re-populate. It replicated what I just deleted and did not pull the new information from my MacPro. I truly do not understand where MobileMe keeps that old list in its memory and why it insists on reloading outdated information..I would guess there is at least a 40% inaccuaracy with the MobileMe and iPad addresses. It's popping up again addresses that have long been deleted from my MacPro and the has a complete absence of new addresses from my "Master" address book on my MacPro. I have reselected my MacPro as the master in System Preferences and asked it to sync again many times.
I have synced my iPad directly from my MacPro. Still the same old version which matches the MobileMe address book keeps showing up on my iPad. Here's a small twist: I recently added a new group in my MacPro Master Address Book. Both MobileMe and the iPad picked up the name of group but it contains NO contacts or addresses. At first the new group name was appearing in my iPad address book on both the lists labeled 'From my Mac' and 'MobileMe' but now the group name is missing from the 'From my Mac' list. Very odd, since that is the only place that the group actually exists!
MobileMe is currently unresponsive on loading contacts or my calendar so I can't get on the website to verify that version. The rest of MobileMe appears to be working but the iCal error message I sent to Apple bounced.
I cannot upgrade to Lion :-( so trying iCloud is not an option.
I see no way within the iPad to move contacts from the All Contacts list into a new group. If I could do move them within the iPad address book that would take care of the majority of the addresses I want in the new group list. The only thing I can see to do in the iPad is to retype the entire contact information or engage in a time consuming cut and paste transfer of each contact. Both of those options are too daunting to be acceptable. There are about fifty contacts I want in the group.
There does not appear to be a way to send a vCard to the iPad to add that to its Address Book and even if that worked I don't see how to tag anything to move it into any group on the iPad. How do people without a computer get any use out of the iPad's AB? Its limitations are so frustrating to me. I detest sending emails to multiple people from my iPad and save those for when I can get on my computer.
I just tried to set up a 'send to group' email from one of my existing groups in my iPad address book and I don't see anyway to do that from the address book. I went into Mail on the iPad and I don't see how to address an email to more than one person at a time except by typing the first few letters of each name and selecting each person I want to add from the drop down list that appears. Please tell me there's a better way to send to a group of people. If not, I need a recommendation for an address app with better functionality.
I have some urgency for accomplishing this as I will be spending the day in the hospital and want to report results to friends and loved ones as quickly as possible.

How to add batch server group in script parameters

Is there any way to incorporate the "background server groups" directly in the script parameters in REDWOOD? There is an option to provide the target server in parameter TARGET_SERVER. But its not working if i maintain a server group. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I am not able to find any parameter with the name TARGET_GROUP. Can I add this explicitly as a new parameter? But i am not sure how it will correlate to the batch server group in SAP. I also tried to import a job with target group defined. But the imported copy doesn't contain any values for it.

How to add default associated groups when creating new site

I am trying to create a new subsite in sharepoint 2013 using CSOM (code is mentioned below). But no default groups (MEMBER, VISITOR, OWNER) are getting created in that site. When we try through UI we will got through a page "Set Up Groups
for this Site" where we can specify these details.. Is it possible to do the same (creating default groups together with the site creation) through CSOM or powershell.

How to add to a group of fill in boxes with one click?

I need to create a form, for surveying a building. If I had to survey a room with fill in fields for one room (width, length, height, how many windows, doors, etc.), is there a way to add one buttom below that says "another room" and pressing that will insert the same set of fields to survey the next room? Would I need to use an advanced surevey template from Adobe?

Per my understanding, you might want to add a custom action group into the list settings page.
In the same way, we can add custom group into “Site Settings” page(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\settings.aspx) by specifying
the Location attribute to "Microsoft.SharePoint.SiteSettings".
However, in the “List Settings” page(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\listedit.aspx), the three groups “General Settings”,
“Permissions and Management” and “Communications” are hardcoded there which occupy all the space, it is by design.
As a workaround, you can modify the HTML source code of the “listedit.aspx” to generate a custom group there manually.

How to add recipent to group message

Just wondering if you can add someone to a group message that you've recieved on the 4s? I've tried just adding them, but it won't let me. Is the original sender the only one that can add them?

No right now it's not a feature on the iphone. In order to add someone you would have to create a whole new imessage and include that person with the original group.

I believe you should insert the authority-check in the fms of your function group:
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'S_RFC'
ID 'RFC_TYPE' FIELD <value>
ID 'RFC_NAME' FIELD <value>
ID 'ACTVT' FIELD <value>
This object has to assign to profile of all users who'll use those fms.
You can manage the profile by trx PFCG.

How do people in Designers group provide permissions after creating list/libraries?

We've always kept our SharePoint intranet pretty locked down, such that only those in an Owner's group can create lists and libraries. We decided to utilize the Designer group to allow a select handful of people to be able to create lists and libraries
(without making them owners of the site). How do these "designers" apply permissions? It doesn't appear that they can under the library settings.
There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you are trying to accomplish.

Oh I see. But if a user create a Library then user is the own of library and can assign the permission. when you click on the List / library settings on that page under the "Permissions and Management " can
you see the link "Permissions for this document library".
could you please share the screen print.
Also check the permission of the user on that Library.
