No way with pure ABAP. Either contact your unix adminstration or create a logical system command in SM69/SM49 which can be called via call function 'SXPG_CALL_SYSTEM'

    Thanks,

Please make your question more clear . Also mention the reports version.
    1) If you are runnning reports in Unix, you can give
    .... destype=file desformat=pdf desname=<filename>
    in command line
    Please refer docs below.
    2) If by your question you mean
"My reports server is running in Windows but I want to ftp my files to Unix after creating it"
then the answer is that you can use pluggable destination "ftp"
    .... destype=ftp desformat=pdf desname=<ftp url>

  • How to add new folder in sap menu visible to all users

I want to add a new folder in sap menu. i can do it for my user id as it is user specific. I wanna know that how to add a folder so that every user able to see the same i.e irrespective of user-ids.

    Hi Ramya,
This can be done in SAP menu instead of User Menu, provided all your users are using SAP menu. If a folder is created in User menu it would be visible only to the user. If it is created in SAP menu and if all the users are using the SAP menu then the folder would be visible to all...
    Hope this clarifies your query...
    Reward me points...

  • Adobe Reader X Deployment: how to add trusted folder from userprofile?

    Hi,
We have to deploy Adobe Reader X and Acrobat X by using the Adobe Customization Wizard X.
There is a function in the Customization Wizard to add the folders, but the main problem is, that we want to add a folder which is located in the userprofile.
I tried it by using the Windows variable: %USERPROFILE%, but it didn't work.
Is there another way to integrate this folder?
Can it be that Adobe provides their own variables? (i.e. [User_Profile])
    Thanks for help!

  • How to add one folder to time machine from an external drive

    Hello,
I just moved my aperture file and a few folders to my external drive (that is always connected). The files on this drive are not backed up normally via time machine.  I don't want to add the full drive to be backed up, just the folder that has the aperture files in it.   How can I do this?

Thank you Terence for your help.  I was able to restore my backup from my time machine ext drive to a new 1tb seagate ext drive.  so i felt sort of ok.  but yesterday that older ext drive i used for time machine wouldn't open! i called applecare and they trouble shooted with me and said it's probably a goner and data is probably corrupted.  it's only a few years old and i'm very careful with it.  my husband accidentally dropped my new drive last night -- i know, unbelievable, i was SO upset, poor guy -- but I'm so stressed with all of this.  i have 10 years of photos and videos.  so now i only have the one newer drive with a backup.  i have to buy another one today to backup again so i at least have two backups.  i tried to delete a ton of files last night to free up the 30 gb of space i need to get my full library back on my mac. i have 90gb free and deleted 7 years worth of photos i had on picasa that were in my "pictures" folder and also a ton or random photos and videos i had in that same pictures folder and thought that would give me the 30 gb but it hardly freed up any space at all!  do you know why that is?  all of this stuff is really a pain and really stressful.  thank god i did have a backup in the first place but now i am panicked the one i have left will somehow crash.  especially after my husband dropped the drive lastnight! it didn't fall far and fell onto a wood floor and seems fine, but after my older ext drive crashed yesterday -- and i lost my entire iphoto library a fewweeks ago off my mac -- i feel cursed.  any answers you have would be great. thank you.

  • How to add new folder in Aperture thats been created on hard drive?

    Hey
This is probably a simple answer, but here it goes.
I manage all my photos in directories such as this:
    2007
    01 - January
    02 - February
    03 - March
etc..... however I just added the 2007 foler and all its subfolders to my drive tonight, however I can't sem to figure out how to easily add it to Aperture in order to read from those folders?
    Thanks a lot

also, you can decide to ignore the import panel entirely, and import the folders by dragging and dropping them in your project list. if you drag multiple folders at once, they will be imported as multiple projects.
holding the Command and Option keys while doing this will result in a "referenced files" import. By default (without modifiers) the images get "managed" (i.e. copied into database).
my structure on HD is similar to yours. What I do in AP is that I create a blue folder first, name it 2007, and then drag folders from the mac os finder on that blue folder.
experiment with this and you'll find that it is much faster, gives more flexibility, and involves less repetitive actions than using the import folder.
one last thing: this action sees AP generating an error message, but the image that is said "not imported" still is, and all should function properly...

  • How to create backup Folder Index (or directory ?)

Okay, I've searched a lot of the Forums and haven't found an answer to this question. Does anyone know if there is a way (or a piece of software) to essentially make a folder from a Hard drive (be it internal or external) that has all of the information on folders and data within it, but that isn't actually the data?
Meaning, short of taking photos of the desktop, or cutting and pasting text into Text Editor, is there a way to make a list of everything that's on a drive - but have it only be a list? Something e-mailable, or savable as a way to know what's on a drive, say if it crashed and there's no way to view the original drive again?
In the past, I've taken photos of drive directories via the desktop, but this is clumsy and imprecise. And I can't tell you how many hard drives I've had fail with me going "what was on that again?"
Any advice would be really appreciated.

You could use Terminal and then use the unix command:
    ls -Rl
(The 'l' is lower case L in each case)
What that does is recursively list the contents of each folder and subfolder encountered from the folder you are currently in. You can then cut and paste that from the Terminal buffer into a text file.
Alternatively you could issue the command
    ls -Rl > listing.txt
which will redirect the output into a text file named listing.txt
You can then view that file from within Finder.

  • How to add a Folder inside a Folder ? (non)

I have tried even going directly to the srf file to do the grouping manually.
Bear in mind that I have performed this successfully on an existing SAP folder.  But if I tried doing it on a form i've created with the screen painter the results are simply that all folder items group at the same level.
I've read all the links related to this and come across no real solution.  Is it posible at all?

I can't tell you how to do it using screenpainter/xml, but how to do it in code... might get you in the right direction. I't all about setting the correct pane-levels.
A good example in the Client GUI is the BP Accounting TAB with its general and tax tabs inside... Tabs/folders are just normal items in SAP and the pane-from and to on an item is used to tell the GUI what items are where.
Sample1: CardCode hase panelevel 0-0 (0 being the special panelevel that are always shown)
Sample2: Telephone 1 is in panelevel 1-1 since it is under the general tab
Sample3: The Tax-tab under accounting is on pane 9-10 since it need to be shown when both the Account>General tab-data is visible (9) and it's own tax-data (10)
This is the complete "pane-tree" on BP Master data
    0: Header
       1: General
       3: Contact persons
       7: Addresses
       6: Payment Terms
       8: Payment System
       9-10: Accounting
             9: General
             10: Tax
       4: Properties
       5: Remarks
To sum it all up, you will need to set you to and from panes in the correct way to create the nesting of the tabs and on each item-pressed on these tabs you need to change the current panelevel

  • How to add a folder at Mail?

    Good morning,
I would like to add a foder (and defining it's name) in Mail.
I couldn't find any help in the user manual.
    Thanks for your help
    Roger - Greece

If the email account is an IMAP one, then in the Mail app at the top of the selection/display list of its current folders there should be an Edit button - tap that and you should be able to create a new folder. If the email account is POP based then unfortunately you can't create new folders (I can't on my old POP account and other people have reported the same thing).

  • How to add project, folder or album in full screen mode

I love the full screen mode but I do need to go back (F) to "normal" mode for library changes like adding a new album, folder or project.
All other library functions do work like move projects into folder etc.
The function is shown in "inspector" (right mouse button) but you can not select the function.
Is this not supported like the faces and places "button" in full screen mode as i learned reading this forum?

If you close Firefox while in full screen mode then Firefox should start the next time in full screen mode as well.
If that doesn't happen the see:
