How to add cell editor to cell variant dynamically?

Hi everyone,
  I'm developing a web dynrpo component. In one of the views , I need to modify the view dynamically
because the data structure only can be determined at runtime. And the table column should have two
cell variants. I don't know the exact cell variant class which should be used. I only find an abstract class about cell variant CL_WD_ABSTR_TABLE_CELL_VAR , but I can't find any method in this class which
can add cell editor under this cell variant.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sireesha,
Thanks for link you provided.
I am able to add Column with CommandImageLink.And onclick of that link i am able to display another popup.
Now another problem which i am facing is when i select one row from popup and click "Ok" i have to modify some columns from Dyanamic table which is displayed on main page.
For this.
1)First i took the selected row from dyanamic table to update that perticular row depending upon the row which i select from popup.
if you see the code above i am refaring the list as collection for data.So i am updating that collection but again it is refreshing to it's original value.
because number of times getList() method of bean get's called equal to number of columns. which brings the values from database.
Here On click of popup's Ok button I don't want to save the data for table i just want to show there in some column's .and After click on SAVE button from table i have to save it.
Let me help how can i modify the Dynamic table's data.
Thanks for all help.

  • How to add series to Business Graphics control dynamically?

    Hi Experts,
    How to add series to Business Graphics control dynamically?
    I tried the method add_series( ) but could not use it properly.
    If you have any clues of using it, let me know.
    I need it urgently.
    Best Regards,
    Arti.

    I'm not sure what ADD_SERIES method you are refering to. The only programable API for the Business Graphics that I found was this one:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/42/e61cd068dc3ee4e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm
    I've not ever tried it, but you not just add the series UI element like any other dynamic UI manipulation during the WDDOMODIFYVIEW?

    Hi Avnish Gupta,
    Continue to Lakshmanan, you may need to add your CSS Styles in a <ContentLink> tag like below:
    <ContentLink xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WebPart/v2/ContentEditor" />
    </Content>

    I have added GET KNKK statement after GET KNA1 statement.
    Can any one help me how we can make this rating field appear in the selection screen.
    With the GET statement Credit control area Fields can be selected in the selection screen but I have to permanantly add the field in the selection screen.

    Hi,
    So you need that this new field have data in old records?
    1.- If you are in BI 7.0 and the logic or data for that New field are in the same Dimension, you can use a Remodeling to fill it. I mean if you want if you want to load from a Master Data from other InfoObject in the same Dim.
    2.- If condition "1" is not yours.
    First add the new field, then create a Backup Cube (both cubes with the new field) and make a full update with all information in the original Cube. The new field willl be empty in both cubes.
    Create an UR from BackUp_Cube to Original_Cube with all direct mapping and create a logic in the Start Routine of the UR (modiying the data_package) you can look for the data in the DSO that you often use to load.
    To do that both cubes have to be Datasources ( right click on Cube-> aditional function-> and I think is "Extract Datasource")
    Hope it helps. Regards, Federico

  • How to add SYS ID to Alert message dynamically in BPM

    Hi,
        I am adding alert message dynamically in the BPM for ALM. When we get email alerts, we couldn't distinguish whether this alert is coming from DEV, QAS or PRD system. To resolve this issue I am thinking to add system ID to the alert message user knows from which systems message is coming from. I need to know is there any standard variable where we get system id from BPM so that I can add it to alert message. Otherwise let me know what the best approach is?.
    Your inputs are highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

  • How to add deep structure like LVC_T_SCOL in dynamic internal table

    Hello,
    can any one help me with adding a deep structure to a dynamically created internal table. the deep structure which needs to be added is for the color purpose for each record i.e.  LVC_T_SCOL .
    Dynamic table created with below method.
        CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
          EXPORTING
            it_fieldcatalog  = gt_struct
            i_length_in_byte = 'X'
          IMPORTING
            ep_table         = dy_table.
        ASSIGN: dy_table->* TO <dyn_table>,
                dy_table->* TO <dyn_line>.
    gt_struct has the list of fields and their technical attributs.
    Thanks In Advance.

    can you add a column name and attribs in gt_struct?  It needs to be declared like:
    <colorcolumnname>    type lvc_t_scol.

  • Hello, I would like to know how to add or delete single cell in numbers.

    Hello, I would like to know how to add or delete single cell in numbers.

    If by delete you really mean clear the contents of a cell, then just click once on the cell and hit the 'delete' button.
    Before:
    After hitting delete button:
    In some circumstances you can actually delete one cell.
    For example here, I make this choice:
    Resulting in this:
    So it's not strictly true that Numbers does not delete one cell, ever.  It can if you have a one-column table.
    So never say never or not ever! Enough pedantry for today!

  • How do I add cells, but only if certain criteria are met first in other cells?

    I have a little problem in working this out, I can't! I can add cells & alike, but more complex working are an unknown to me.
    Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
    I've three cells in a row C4 with 5 in, D4 with 3 in & E4 with 1 in. I'd like to add these numbers together into a cell below E6, which is =SUM(C4:E4) which will make 9 in cell E6.
    I've also three cells in a row below C4 - E4 which are C5, D5 & E5 which will only ever have ether 0 or 1 inputted into them. All these cells will only ever have data inputted into them from left to right i.e. Column C first, then Column D & lastly Column E.
    What I’d like for the cells to do, is only add cells C4 - E4 from left to right, once a cell below (C5 - E5) has had a 1 inputted into it & then continue to add the cells there after normally.
    Examples:
    Like above if C4 had 5, D4 had 3 & E4 had 1, & the all the cells below (C5 - E5) had 1 in them, then E6 = 9.
    Again,  if C4 had 5, D4 had 3 & E4 had 1, but C5 had 0, D5 had 1 & E5 had 1, then E6 = 4.
    Again if cells C4 - E4 are the same, but C5 had 0, D5 had 1 & E5 had 0, then E6 still = 4.
    In the same aspect as above, if C4 - E4 are the same, but C5 had 1, D5 & E5 had 0, then E6 = 9.
    If cells C4 - E4 are the same, but C5 - E5 all had 0, then E6 = 0.
    I hope this is clear, & all comments are welcome.
    Many Thanks.

    Wayne's got that one well in hand. Nothing to add there, except that you'll find the details about conditional formatting in the Numbers '09 User Guide, which can be downloaded via the Help menu in Numbers. While you're there, grab the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide as well. Both are quite useful.

  • REG: How to add elements onto htmlb table cell.. URGENT PLZ HELP

    Hi all,
    I have created a htmlb table. And the jsp code is as follows
    <%@ taglib uri="tagLib" prefix="hbj" %>
    <jsp:useBean id="myBean" scope="application" class="com.linde.myaccounts.util.TableBean" />

    I have used a table bean by which I am getting the column header names. I have 5 columns, I have to add input field in the first column, checkbox in the second column, leave the third column blank, checkbox in the fourth column and again a input field in the fifth column. I am not understanding on how to add this elements onto the table. Will I add it from the JSP using <hbj:tableViewColumns> tag or I have add them in the bean or in the dynpage. Kindly someone give me the code for this...
    This is very urgent..Kindly help...
    Thanks in advance,
    Priyanka

    Hi,
    Have you tried looking at the examples that come with the PDK for all of the HTMLB elements?  From memory, there should be a small table example or 2 that have different types of columns shown similar to what you want - they have the full source code with them for you to look at.
    If you are working in a portal, go to the Java Developer tab and I "think" there should be a tab linking to HTMLB documentation and examples - sorry I can't be more specific but I don't have access to a portal at the moment so am trying to remember.

    <b>Example we are trying is</b>
    You need the option to select a single cell to provide a value help for individual cells, for example.
    The interface TableSingleMarkableCell allows you to group cell variants in any way as you like and to make a single cell selectable in this group. The following example shows how to proceed if you want to implement a selection of a single cell from an entire table.
    Prerequisites
    You have created an applicaton with a component and view in your Web Dynpro project.
    Procedure
    Creating the Context
           1.      Create a value node TableNode for the data of the table and insert three value attributes of the type String for the table columns.
           2.      Create a value attribute selectedCellVariant of the type String in the TableNode.
           3.      Create a value attribute attributePointer, switch to the Properties, click … for the property type, and select the Java Simple Type. Enter com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDAttributePointer and confirm with Ok.
    Creating the View
           1.      Open the context menu in the Outline, select Apply Template and then Table. In the subsequent dialog box from the context, select three attributes for the columns (col1, col2, col3). Confirm by choosing Finish
           2.      Set the property selectionMode of the table to none.
    Repeat the steps for each column.
           3.      Highlight the column and open the context menu. Select Insert Cell Variant, TableSingleMarkableCell and confirm with Finish.
           4.      Enter the same value for each TableSingleMarkableCell for the property variantKey - for example, variant1
           5.      Insert a cell editor of the type TextView in each TableSingleMarkableCell.
    Binding the UI Elements
           1.      Bind the text property of each TextView to the column in which the property is contained.
           2.      Bind the attributeToMarkproperty of the corresponding TableSingleMarkableCell to the column in which the element is contained.
           3.      Bind the selectedCellVariantproperty of each TableColumn to the context attribute selectedCellVariant.
           4.      Add the following source code to the wdDoInit method.
    wdDoInit()
    1
    2
    3
    IPrivateUseSingleMarkableCellsView.ItableNodeElement elem;
          int count = 10;
    // Fill dummy data
         for(int i=0; i<count; i++) {
             elem = wdContext.nodeTableNode().createTableNodeElement();
             wdContext.nodeTableNode().addElement(elem);
             elem.setCol1(“1.” + i);
             elem.setCol2(“2.” + i);
             elem.setCol3(“3.” + i);
    // set TableSingleMarkableCell as a variant for the table
             elem.setSelectedCellVariant(“variant1”);
                For each element that is created in the for loop and is then added, the
                TableSingle MarkableCell is set as a cell variant in row 3.
           5.      Add the following source code to the wdDoModifyView method.
    wdDoModifyView()
    IWDAttributeInfo markedDataInfo = wdContext.currentContextElement().getAttributePointer(“attributePointer”).getAttributeInfo();
                            ((IWDTableSingleMarkableCell) view.getElement(“TableSingleMarkableCell1”)).bindMarkedData(markedDataInfo);
                            ((IWDTableSingleMarkableCell) view.getElement(“TableSingleMarkableCell2”)).bindMarkedData(markedDataInfo);
         1.                          ((IWDTableSingleMarkableCell) view.getElement(“TableSingleMarkableCell3”)).bindMarkedData(markedDataInfo);
    The current AttributeInfo is now retrieved at every change of the view and is bound to the context using the markedDataproperty.
    Result
    Each single cell can be selected separately. You can define an action and in its method, you can determine the coordinates of the currently selected cell using the following code:
    IWDAttributePointer attPointer = wdContext.currentContextElement().getAttributePointer();

    Hi Gangadhar,
    at first: you are right: you have to choose
    com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.AttributePointer
    and not the other one. I already updated the documentation for this.
    In which SP are you working?
    Kind Regards
