How to add/delete rows on the form without saving data

I am new to apex
I am working on project and need some help on creating a form
my requirment is to save a request that has multiple questions.
i have a request form with multiple regions
On one of the region that takes questions, I want to create a tabular form such that i can add/delete/update row without hitting database and enter multiple questions
each row is one question.
Apex has the default functionality of having a tabular form linked to a table that onload shows the data from that table and also on click of add or delete hits the data base to save the data.
However i want to load a form that does not show any data if its a new request and click of add/delete should not update the databse. It should just add/delete a row on the form
so user logs in and can create a request that has multiple questions
finally want to submit the form and save all the information of the form in multiple tables.
As of now i a m able to have a simple form and a process that save 1 question per request.
How do i achieve this. Please assist.

No. You can only achieve this with smart custom templates. Here is sample code which will display multiple employees in form layout:

How can you delete songs off the ipod without deleting songs off your itunes library? My son's ipod automatically synced all the songs in my library to his ipod which he now wants to get rid of. Is there a way to delete them all without me having to erase my library?

Do not select the songs to sync, then sync.

In a window go for text elements & then go for change editor & use the following:
Insert->Characters->SAP symbols->SYM_CHECKBOX
It will not show checkbox in print preview. Take a printout.

I want to add new rows in advanced table. I can able to add rows using the AddMoreRows button in the footer of the advanced table.
This adds the row at the end. But I want to add the row at the top.

Hi,
Yes you can do it...
Just set the add Rows automatically property to False of Add Row Button
and then in processForm Request capture the addRows event
and invoke a method in AM and then create a new Row in VO.
Use this code...it will insert row at the top...

I don't think it's possible
Mostly people use form personalization for Form "cosmetic changes", add additional validation rules,menu entries, etc but not adding additional field.

How to add another serve into the cluster without updating the tangosol xml

Currently we have two servers in the cluster and incase want to expand it further, add the entry in tangosol-coherence-override.xml.
What i am looking for is coherence providing kind of API using which I can tell it that here is the new/latest list of servers in the cluster. If there is a change then the cluster should be able to accommodate accordingly.
More of a dynamic self expansion and reduction ability of the Coherence cluster based on the published information.

I do not think this is presently feasible. I have filed COH-2374 for tracking purposes requesting an implementation of the host-filter element for the authorized-hosts for cluster-config similar to the host-filter element for authorized-hosts for tcp-acceptor. This would enable the specification of a Filter implementation that would be used to determine if a host should be allowed to join the cluster.

How to add new row in KL02 trx - Activity type control data

Hi guys.
I am not a FI-CO consultant, but I want to add a row since KL02 transaction within a cost center, with a new fiscal year. When you access KL02 (change activity type), you set the activity type, then press Master Data and the basic screen appears. If you press the Display planning control button, you will see the "Display Activity Type Control Data" List. I wanna add a row for a specific cost center here, because the cost center I refer has not 2011 as fiscal year. I tried to use, since basic screen of KL02, use the Change planning control button, but when I set my cost center and 2011 as fiscal year, the Save button is inactive. Furthermore, I tried to press the Period screen and a message appeared "No data has been entered yet". So I dont know how to add one row for a cost center in the Planning control (Activity type control data) list of the KL02 transaction, specifically for an activity type. Do you know? The list of cost centers in which the activity type is planned is given in KL02 under planning data. In order to add a new cost center to this, you need to enter the activity type in transaction KP26 for a particular year.
Goto transaction KP26
Give version - 0
from period 1 to 12
year - 2011
cost center - mention the cost center
Activity type - mention activity type
goto overview screen F5 and add the plan price for the activity in the cost center. This step will automatically add new row in the activity type control data.

Hi,
First upload the file into an internal table. If you are using a file that is on application server. Use open dataset and close dataset.
Then :
Loop at it.
*insert or modify as per your requirement.

How to delete empty table row in the form using formcalc

I am displaying a table in PDF which has a few empty rows in between. I need to delete those specific rows when the form is generated, so that they do not appear on the form.
Has anyone worked on this before? If so, can you please share the code or advise.

first: there MUST be same backend you get the data from right? So in this backend there is some data extraction coding, right? So the result of this coding is bad, like some unwanted extra rows are returned in the proper set of rows, right? So why don´t you change this backend coding not to return the unwanted rows?
IF that is not possible (I don´t believe this!), but just to describe other possibilities, you can place a script on the row subform event like initialize and test if there is something missing there and if so, set the presence of such a row to hidden.
JS: If (this.fieldA.rowValue == "") { this.presence = "hidden"; }

Add row / delete row in PDF Form

Alright so I am really struggling here and no one has been able to provide me a solid answer to date.
1. I am creating a PDF form I want users to be able to fill and remit via email
2. I have created the form in Acrobat 9 Pro via the form Wizard and in some combination with MS Word 2007 for text and table fields to get the forms wizard to auto-populate Adobe form fields.
3. Some of the tables, i.e. In the first table for "Full Time" and "Part Time" should have check boxes - works fine to date. While others should have drop downs, i.e. platform build, etc - works fine to date.
4. This is the pressing issue. As they exist today there is a large table as you can clearly see. I want users to be able to simply click an "Add Row" or "Delete Row" button to add another row to the table (or delete) without having to have a massive table.
I've watched demos on Lynda.com (all of which are irrelevant and provided 0 value), tried to work with what people have responded with previously but all are mainly sample documents and I don't know where to start. In short, I open my form and other forms in LifeCycle Designer ES, take a look at the buttons people have created, the scripts, the XML source, etc. but no idea where to go. If the button needs to be in the table. How it should be scripted. etc. I cannot find a video tutorial anywhere on the web and all the responses simply provide a sample but no idea how to make it a reality in terms of translating their sample into a working dynamic form in PDF. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For a dynamic table you have to design a new XFA-form in Designer.

Just a little correction.
You can inport Docx-Files with tables and add / remove rows in a dynamic PDF.
But, this is not handy, if the table contains more than one row when it is imported because Designer gives every detected row the same name (Row).
Delete all row excepting the first one and set it to repeatable in the binding tab.
Then you can use the addInstance() and removeInstance() methods to add/remove row to the table.

If I understood you correctly, you are just trying to add new fields to the invoice form and then use them in your form. you should first go and add the field to your tables, which you would do by going to Tool --> User Defined Fields --> Manage User Fields. There are different documents or categories given. For ex. for invoices, Sales Orders you would add your field under the Marketing Documents. If you want the field to be just one per invoice, add it to the Title, otherwise if you want a field per invoice or Sales Order line, add it to the Rows section. Once you have done that then you can just create a edit box or drop down to represent the field and set the datasource for that to your field. If you want example code to do that, let me know.

You will need to add some extra rows to the internal table that your table is displaying. Use a program node to append additional rows with a key but no argument.
Alternaively a template may me more suitable for your requirement than a table.

My add/delete row function is unselectable. How do I fix this?

For no reason that I can guess I am unable to add or delete rows. That little circle icon with the two horizontal dashes is gone and when I click on a numbered row the 'add/delete row' choices are grayed out, unelectable. My spreadsheet needs are VERY basic so I'm at a loss for what has happened because I've been using this file. It WAS working like it should, but now it's not and I don't know if I clicked something OFF or what. I am not new to a Mac, so I'm not a newbie with this stuff. Any ideas??????

Try deactivating any filter you have set on the table.
