How to add 2 rows in the form layout?

In the detail page,form layout only one row pick up from database and it displays please anyone have idea about how to display 2 rows or 3 rows in a page?
how to add 2 rows in the form layout?
It's very urgent
Thanks in advance

No. You can only achieve this with smart custom templates. Here is sample code which will display multiple employees in form layout:
<af:forEach items="#{bindings.EmployeesTable.rangeSet}" var="row">
<af:panelForm rows="1" maxColumns="2" width="10%" id="RegionsFormItems">
<af:inputText id="EmployeesEmployeeId" value="#{row.LastName}" label="EmployeeId" .... />
<af:selectInputDate id="EmployeesHireDate" value="#{row.HireDate}" label="HireDate" ...... >
<af:convertDateTime pattern="#{nls.datepattern}"/>
</af:selectInputDate>
</af:panelForm>
</af:forEach>

  • How to add rows in the multicolumn listbox

    hello all,
    the questions are as below:
    1. how to add the rows in the multicolumn listbox?
    2. the message is RS232 communication message with hex format, how to convert the 2D format to adapt the itemnames property?
    does anyboady can provide a simple example? thanks a lot.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello muks,
    I would like to come up with the function like below picture:
    the multicolumn listbox include 5 columns, the fifth column is hex format. I want to add the row one by one after each cycle, meanwhile there's a button that can clear the contents in the multicolumn listbox.
    So the challenge for me is how to concatenate the different format into one array. then how to insert the row one by one.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to add/delete rows on the form without saving data

    I am new to apex
    I am working on project and need some help on creating a form
    my requirment is to save a request that has multiple questions.
    i have a request form with multiple regions
    On one of the region that takes questions, I want to create a tabular form such that i can add/delete/update row without hitting database and enter multiple questions
    each row is one question.
    Apex has the default functionality of having a tabular form linked to a table that onload shows the data from that table and also on click of add or delete hits the data base to save the data.
    However i want to load a form that does not show any data if its a new request and click of add/delete should not update the databse. It should just add/delete a row on the form
    so user logs in and can create a request that has multiple questions
    finally want to submit the form and save all the information of the form in multiple tables.
    As of now i a m able to have a simple form and a process that save 1 question per request.
    How do i achieve this. Please assist.

    Do that using collections like in this example:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:176
    Once you are done, you may decide either to save that or to clean it up.

  • How to exchange data between the html in the form layout and itsparameters?

    i am trying to rephrase a question i asked a few days back and which yielded no response.
    is there any way to exchange/transfer values or data between the html in the form layout editor and the form parameters?
    for instance, is there any bridge such that the form template design (controlled by some html-based attribute), or the display property (again managed by some string value for the style:display attribute) of some of its divisions etc could be controlled by the values passed to some parameters of a portal form?
    has any body ever tried to do it or thought of doing it? or it's inherrently beyond the portal forms capacity?
    folks, any clues or hints on 'yes, that's how' or 'no, and that's why not!' please? will greatly appreciate.

  • How to delete empty table row in the form using formcalc

    Hi All,
    I am displaying a table in PDF which has a few empty rows in between.  I need to delete those specific rows when the form is generated, so that they do not appear on the form.
    Has anyone worked on this before? If so, can you please share the code or advise.
    Regards
    Aditi

    Hello,
    first: there MUST be same backend you get the data from right? So in this backend there is some data extraction coding, right? So the result of this coding is bad, like some unwanted extra rows are returned in the proper set of rows, right? So why don´t you change this backend coding not to return the unwanted rows?
    IF that is not possible (I don´t believe this!), but just to describe other possibilities, you can place a script on the row subform event like initialize and test if there is something missing there and if so, set the presence of such a row to hidden.
    JS: If (this.fieldA.rowValue == "") { this.presence = "hidden"; }

  • Multiple 'add row to updateable form' buttons on same page

    Hi,
    I have a master-details page with 1 master region and 2 details regions. Both details regions are updateable reports. In each details region, I created a 'Add row' button, with a different name. Then I created 2 'Add rows to tabular form' processes, one for each button.
    The issue is that both buttons add a row to the same details report. How to specify which button adds a row to which report?
    Thanks,
    Guillaume

    Guillaume,
    The built-in tabular form feature only supports one tabular form on each page. You'll have to put the two forms on separate pages. Or use simple reports as the detail reports with edit links to an edit form page.

    Marc

  • How to insert row in the middle of a table so that the below content will move to another page?

    I'm making a huge form in LiveCycle Designer. I want to be able to add rows in the middle o the table but in a way that the content below will move down automatically in a way it doe's in Word for example.
    Sometimes I am adding a very high new row in the middle of a page and I want the content in the below rows to be moved to another page and if it is necessary I want a new page to be automatically created on the bottom of a document or something.
    Is this possible or do I have to move everything by hand if I add new row to a table?

    If you are adding the rows at the runtime by clicking a button, then you have to use the instance Manager to add rows.. It will add rows at the end and then you need to write code to move the row at the desired location by using the moveInstance method of the instanceManager.
    If you are adding a row at the design time, then you can right clcik the row and choose to add rows below.
    Thanks

  • Add row in tabular form fails, "gErrItems is undefined"

    I'm struggling to get Apex working on my new laptop.
    Apex 4.1.1, Oracle 10.2.0.5, Windows 7 64 bit.
    I click 'Add row' on the detail region (the tabular form) on my Master - Detail page.
    The row appears, but after clicking 'Apply changes' it's gone again.
    Using Firebug, I see that the javascript causes an "gErrItems is undefined" error, something coming from apex_4_1.min.js
    The same application works fine on apex.oracle.com, so it's the installation on my laptop.

    It seems to be a problem with apex_listener under Glassfish.
    I'll post in the proper forum again.

    Hi,
    Kindly go to the url
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn
    Workspace:kdoyen
    user:demo/demo
    Application:60347 - test
    You can login into the application using demo/kdoyen
    Go to the tab 'Orders',clicking on an existing order,it will take to the page view/modify orders.
    Go to sql commands and run the query select * from DEMO_ORDER_ITEM_DETAILS;check the records...
    Click on Add Item to Order.
    Go to sql commands and run the query select * from DEMO_ORDER_ITEM_DETAILS;
    you will see a row has been added to the table even without entering any data on your empty row.
    Now enter data in your empty row,and click add item to order,the row will be added in your table which works fine.
    my problem is when we click Add item to Order to create an empty row,my procedure is called.
    I hope you have understood.
    Please let me know if you have any queries.

  • How to add rows in tableview using javascipt

    Hi
    I had tableview and button in my page.If i click on the button one new row should be appended to the existing tableview.
    so , how to add rows in tableview using javascipt which are editable?
    Regards,
    Pydi.

    Hi,
      Javascript is client scripting language, which is mainly used for validations at the client side.
      To add new row using a HTMLB tag ucannot use javascript. Instead pass "visibleRowCount" variable to a abap variable and add the variable on every button click.. that wil increase the visible row count.
    Also the size of the table view is the size of the itnernal table, so append a blank like to the internal table or insert it at the top.
    If you are not using HTMLB tags and using simple HTML tags u can always add a row using java script.
    Regards
    Imran.

  • Can any body tell me how to make changes in the print layout of Fb03.

    hi,
    Can any body tell me how to make changes in the print layout of Fb03.
    I want to add comapny address on the layout.
    Regards
    Mave

    If you mean the correspondence, you have to change the configuration in Financial Accounting -> AR and AP -> Business Transactions -> Outgoing Invoices -> Carry Out abd Check Settings for Correspondence. There, you need to assign your custom Program or Layout for the Correspondence Type (like SAP19) and Program.
    If you mean the display layout in transaction FB03, You can change a few settings, mainly with BKPF and BSEG fields. I don't think you can add company address, though.
    Good luck,

  • How to add rows using DefaultTableModel?

    I'm trying to figure out the ins-and-outs of creating a dynamic table.
    I looked for a tutorial, but none of the example programs I found dealt with my particular issue, nor did they explain anything.
    For instance, most of the examples looked like this:
            table = new JTable();
            defaultModel = new DefaultTableModel(10,5);
            setModel(defaultModel);But that doesn't work for me -- I'm creating a class that EXTENDS DefaultTableModel, and so if I want to send in parameters, I have a problem.
              public MyTableModel() {
                            super(data, columnNames);
                    ...The above code complains that "you can't access data or columnNames until you call super()!"
    But I've seen plenty of example code that DOES send in parameters to super(). How do they get away with that? Is it because they are parameters to the constructor, whereas private/public members of the class are somehow different?
    I thought a variable is a variable -- why is one allowed but not the other?
    Lastly, I'm trying to figure out, practically speaking, how to load a database with X items, and be able to add rows later. Does that mean I need to use a vector for my data instead of Object[][]?
    I've seen BOTH AbstractDataModel and DefaultTableModel used with dynamic tables -- is there any difference between them as far as dynamic tables are concerned?
    I was under the impression that I needed to "switch" from ADM to DTM if I wanted to be able to add rows to my table at runtime.
    Here are some references to previous discussions I found/participated in on this topic:

    -> I'm creating a class that EXTENDS DefaultTableModel, and so if I want to send in parameters, I have a problem
    Well, you would pass in the data and columnNames as parameter when you create your table model.
    -> Lastly, I'm trying to figure out, practically speaking, how to load a
    -> database with X items, and be able to add rows later. Does that
    -> mean I need to use a vector for my data instead of Object[][]?
    You just said you extended DefaultTableModel. Well you don't need to do anything it already manages the data for you. You just use the methods provided to update and change the data.
    -> I've seen BOTH AbstractDataModel and DefaultTableModel used with dynamic tables
    No you haven't. You really don't understand what an AbstractDataModel is do you? Its nothing. You can't use it. It doesn't have any storage for the data, and since there is no data storage you can't access the data or change it. You can't even create an AbstractTableModel. Read your Java text on what an Abstract class it.
    The DefaultTableModel extends the AbstractTableModel to provide data storage and ways to get the data and change the data. It notifies the table when any change is made to the data so the table can repaint itself.
    -> How to add rows using DefaultTableModel?
    Finally, the DTM provides methods that make the model dynamic. Methods for adding and removing rows or adding and removing columns. Read the API for more information.
    If you still don't understand how how the methods work then search the forum for examples that use the methods you don't understand. I've posted an example the uses the methods required to add rows or columns.

    add fields to the scripts by sending that field between  two &s.
    for example if u want to add lifnr of lfa1 table then pass field like this.
    &wa_lfa1-lifnr&.here wa_lfa1 is work area for internal table it_lfa1.
    if name1 then &wa_lfa1-name1&
    in this way you can add fields to the script under any window.

    In ABAP i have internal table with on field(135) type c.
    some time record have length 120, somtime 130 its vary on each record.
    but i would like to add space at the end of each record till 135 length.
    Can you please help me how to add speace at the end of record.

    So why did you said that in your first posting? My glass sphere is out for cleaning...
    Instead of type c use strings and add spaces until they have the appropriate length.
    loop at outtab assigning <pout>.
      while strlen( <pout>-val ) < 135.
        concatenate <pout>-val `` into <pout>-val.
      endwhile.
    endloop.
