I new to the struts. I wanted to add dynamic form field .

Why do so many people ask struts questions here? It's an Apache project and it has a mailing list. Why not go directly to the source? [http://struts.apache.org/]

Hi,
you cannot add new fields using ITCSY. It is the interface structure between a SAPscript an a value-changing form-routine.
Need example anyway?

Hi Murali,
when created added a field on the screen by using user exit then after that you have add the field in main table where you will be getting these table in the userexit only, please make sure about this. And i am sure defenitly it will get updated in to the table.

We have an existing Infospoke, It has ODS as a Source and some fields are being pulled.
But here is the scenario....
I need some extra fields that are available in other ODS. How to add that fields ?
By some research came to know that.. I need to lookup on the ODS and populate into existing Infospoke.How to add these fields to InfoSpoke using BAdi implementaion.
Note: already BAdi is active in the infospoke.
Please help me in this regard

As you mentioned that BADI is already implemented then I guess you should be able to extend the existing BADI itself.
For doing lookup first you should know the key fields of source DSO then by using the existing field of Infospoke you will have to read data from DSO.
DATA: it_data type standard table of 'DSO Name'.
select Key1 key2 etc...
          Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
          from DSO
          into table it_data
          for all entries of infospoke
         where key1 = infospoke1-key1
                     key2 = infospoke2-key2.
This will give you all the required records from source DSO into internal table it_data. Now you using this table you can populate the original table of Infospoke.

What kind of report? Usually, you have to add the field in the table declaration and then also in the SQL query. After that, include the field in what kind of report you are using.

make append to tables in se11 - CCMBP1FIELDS, CCMBP2FIELDS
in spro in Define customer-specific search control -> mark fields with X.
and enhance html template CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. -> tcode smw0, look for package CRM_CIC_COMPONENTS for html CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. export it from SAP, edit, and import.
you will need to enhance function module used for searching - you will find him in spro in Search Strategies.

If I understood you correctly, you are just trying to add new fields to the invoice form and then use them in your form. you should first go and add the field to your tables, which you would do by going to Tool --> User Defined Fields --> Manage User Fields. There are different documents or categories given. For ex. for invoices, Sales Orders you would add your field under the Marketing Documents. If you want the field to be just one per invoice, add it to the Title, otherwise if you want a field per invoice or Sales Order line, add it to the Rows section. Once you have done that then you can just create a edit box or drop down to represent the field and set the datasource for that to your field. If you want example code to do that, let me know.

How to add new fields in Web UI where AET is not applicable

We tried to add new fields using AET, but surprisingly 'Create Field' is in disabled mode in AET Configuration.
We are trying to add custom fields to the view GSTEXT/notes. But we could not do that.
what are the other possible ways to add custom fields and the required configuration for that.

Thanks for the response, We want to add two custom fields in Component / View (Gstext / Note).
We are trying with AET tool, But in AET tool configuration window, ''Create Field'' is in not in active mode (disabled mode), we can see it but it is not clickable.
In order to proceed and create new fields it has to be in enabled.
Kindly suggest me how to activate this field. your suggestions will be highly apprecaited.

How to add new field XREF3 in FB50

Hi,
I have a problem with adding the new field XREF3 in FB50 transaction in Items window. I configured field status group in OBC4 and OB41 transaction for XREF3 as optional entry. XREF3 is available in FB01 transaction but not in FB50. I checked table settings for Item window in FB50 using Administrator button. Field XREF3 is not displayed in current settings window. I checked also that structure ACGL_ITEM include the field XREF3. Can you give me any advice how to add the field XREF3 in this enjoy transaction FB50 ?

start FB50!
at the upper right corner of the items, there is a small coloured box (blue, yellow and white), click on it
click Administrator in the popup
search for XREF3 in the list, the field Invisible (last coloum) should be ticked, untick it!
click Activate, than Close, than Close again

Do you mean how to add properties to a Step Type?
Steps are instances of Step Types so you can not add properties. If you need to add property to say a Numeric Test Limit step type, then you have to create a Custom Step Type based on a Numeric Test Limit Step Type then add your additional properties. Check out the TestStand documentation for Custom Steps Type.
Depending on your needs you might beable to use the Add Attributes to meet your requirements, depends on what TestStand version you are using. This could save you the bother of having to create your own step type.
