How to add extra blank space in xml

I open the xml file in notepad I get this
<XXON_EXT_BANK_ACCOUNT_NAME>創名聯合會計師事務所 </XXON_EXT_BANK_ACCOUNT_NAME>
But when I open the xml file in html format the blank space is gone.
How can I add extra blank space in xml?

Why do you need the extra space for?
This difference in display that you see between your browser and notepad/notepad++
will not affect your generated report.

Extra blank space problem in af:selectOneChoice

Hi All,
I m using <af:selectOneChoice> to display few items in combo box. Now the problem is when the page gets load 1st time, its show an extra blank space in item list, but after selecting any item from the list page gets refreshed and reload again, now it does not have any extra blank space in the list.
How do I remove this blank space from the combo box ???

1. Remove the Condition from you Context tab.
2. In the Driver Program check for the condition and fill the value in the internal table which is passed to
the adobe form.
3. Make the subform (under which the field is added in the hierarchy view) as flowed.
4. In the script editor, Select the 'javascript' and write the script to hide the form field specifying the condition here.
for e.g
if (xfa.form.FORM.SUB_FORM.matnr == "123") {
xfa.form.FORM.SUB_FORM.Region = "hidden";
NOTE: Javascript is Case sensitive and stops working immediately after the line of code where an error occurs.

Extra Blank page in XML Publisher report

Hi,
I am getting extra blank page in XML publisher report.
The RTF has two pages and each page has one table.These two tables will be populated with data based on some if condtion.
eg:
In RTF:
for each Header
if PMA='Y' THEN
Table1 data in 1st page
end if;
pageBreak
IF OTC='Y' then
Table2 data in 2nd page
END IF;
end for each
And also another issue is: The data is starting from the same page instead of new page.
Please help me in solving the issue.

I am using <xsl:attribute name="break-before">page</xsl:attribute> page break.
I tried split-by-page-break also,but still its not resolved.
Today I have noticed one thing: When generating this report locally,then there is no blank page coming.But when generating from APPS then blank page is coming.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

New line break and extra blank space characters disappear after submit form?

I have a PDF form with a Submit button that is dynamically created in my code to send the form data to the server in HTML format.
After the form data is received on the server side, all strings with new line break and extra blank spaces are gone.
For example, if I enter string in a text field as shown below on the form:
Hello   ,
this is
    just a
test
After the form data is sent to the server, this string would become:
Hello , this is just a test
New line breaks are gone. Also, if there is more than 1 blank space character between 2 characters, the extra blank space characters would be removed as well.
It does not only happen to multi-line text field, even with single-line text field. If I have a string like this in a single-line text field:
Hello         this is just              a         test
After the form data is sent to the server, it would become:
Hello this is just a test
The form is created in OpenOffice then converted to PDF. The Submit button is created in my program using iText. I have no idea it is iText that trims my string or PDF itself does it.

That is not what I get. Since it's URL-encoded, spaces are represented by the "+" character and carriage returns are represented by the "%0d%0a" (cr/lf) sequence.
Are you looking at the actual data that getting sent to the server or the output from the server after it processes it?

Thank you, you made me go look again and I realised the ones I use on the iPad are under Borders not style and they are on Mac also. I feel a bit silly but I wouldn't have got there without your prompting. Do you mean by "create your own" using the borders and then saving as a style or can you create something that is not in either?

How to insert blank spaces in XML tag?

Hi Experts,
I have a variable of type char and lenght 10 with value "ABCDE". When I write this value in xml tag <TEXT> using simple transformation it ignores the trailing blank spaces and the result xml string looks as <TEXT>ABCDE</TEXT>.
I want the xml tag with trailing blank spaces i.e. it should be like <TEXT>ABCDE     </TEXT>. And suppose if the variable does not contain any value, the xml tag should contain 10 blank spaces like <TEXT>          </TEXT>.
I have tried using the solution given in this link

Hi,
I think the blank value in a filter is same as showing All, and not only the rows which has value blank. Nevertheless both can be achieved as below.
"Blank Value to show everything in Table as if no filter provided"
value-key = '*'.
value-value = 'All'. " This will show up the text as All and work as if no filter is given and it will show all.
APPEND value to set.
"Blank Value to show the rows which has the value as space"
value-key = space.
value-value = 'None'. " This will show up the text as None and work as if filter is given to show value as space
APPEND value to set.

I don't have any idea on how to add the empty/blank line.

This example VI show an alternative way of inserting empty line/ space between sections of a configuration file...
PS1: Note that Additional Empty Element is intentionally added to create/ add empty line/ space between sections...

How to add a digital signature in xml publisher report

The problem is: There is a existing pick slip report.This is a xml publisher report and the data source is RDF. We have to add digital signature there. Now this signature is stored in a table with type Long Raw and format BMP. XML Publisher do not support Long Raw and BMP format. It supports BLOB and jpg format.
Could you please guide how to add this signature in the existing RDF with datatype as BLOB and format as jpg.
Please provide the steps with example.
