How to apply outbound link tracking code in Adobe Muse?

Using Adobe Muse v6 to build my website and want to set up outbound URL tracking on a number of links.
I have the correct code snippets from https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1136920?hl=en

However Adobe Muse adds the a href code to the basic links in the back end, all I usually add is the http://www.example.com part.
Does anyone know a way to add the onClick="trackOutboundLink(this, 'Outbound Links', 'example.com'); return false; string to my URL to make it work?
I have tried using http://www.example.com"?onClick="trackOutboundLink(this, 'Outbound Links', 'example.com'); return false;
But it doesn't seem to work... Help appreciated.

As per the instructions on link below you need to insert the code in <Head> section of the page.
Conversion Tracking and Optimization | Facebook Help Center | Facebook
Once you receive the code from Facebook you can insert it in Muse site.
Open the page in Design mode and go to Page > Page Properties > Metadata > Html for <head>
Paste the code in the space mentioned in the screenshot and you should be all set

I embedded some HTML code into adobe Muse but not displaying when the pages are Exporting to HTML

I embedded some HTML code into adobe Muse and when I published the remote site on business catalyst the (Add This widget) HTML code shows up but when I exported the site to HTML pages and view the index page in the browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) the (Add this widget) HTML code wouldn't display on any of the pages. I've used this code before on other Muse sites not sure what could have happened. Thnx!!!

I am working for an art gallery with newly international presence. I am creating 3 versions of a website in French, English, and eventually Mandarin. While there will be links to bring visitors to mirroring pages in different languages, I want the language appropriate to visitors' device location to launch automatically. In other words, www.site.com will bring users in Paris to French version of site while users in New York use the same address to access English site, each determined by their location. Is this achievable in Adobe Muse?

Muse uses Fixed width Layouts so that is not 100% possible. You can extend images and box elements to full width but not actual content.

How do I add a tracking code to my page?

I want to add a tracking code to my page but iWeb doesn't seem to allow it. I copied the html code from a 3rd party site (Google Analytic) and tried pasting into the html widget in iWeb but when I check the tracking report it keeps telling me the code has not been installed. I have tried placing the text block at various places on the page and still no luck. The directions at Google Analytic tell me where I need to paste it into the html code but to do that I need an html editor or a text editor that can read html.
Am I doing something wrong with the html widget? If a tracking code can't be added with a widget is there a way I can edit the source code directly? A text editor, maybe? I tried Word but but it wouldn't open the page.

There's a way to add Google Analytic to pages without having to edit the page. It's a little bit of work but it's a one time process. Read about it here: http://www.wyodor.net/blog/archives/2010/05/entry_316.html
Or you could add StatCounter to each page to get not only the number of hits but lots more information:

You have to create a conditional variable.
For eg. create a variable with hyperlink in the syntax for Year.

How to embed or make a calandar in Adobe Muse

I want to embed or make a calandar in adobe muse. When people click on a day It will then take them to what is going on for that day. I tried using google calandars embed option but I cannot then click on that day and then view that day so I can see better. It just showed the month view only. Does anyone know of a way to create this without slowing down your page with a million other pages or if there is a calandar system out there that has this embed option. Thank you very much.

What is Password Protection
There are many websites that cause a box to pop up asking you for a username and password. If you don't know the password, you can't enter the site. This provides some security to your Web pages and gives you the chance to choose who you want to allow to see and read your Web pages. There are many ways to password protect your Web pages, from PHP, to JavaScript, to HTAccess (on the Web server).
When Should You Password Protect Pages?
With HTAccess, you can password protect any page or directory on your Web server. You can even protect the entire website if you want to. HTAccess is the most secure method of password protection, as it relies on the Web server, so the valid usernames and passwords are never shared with the Web browser or stored in the HTML like they can be with other scripts. People use password protection:
Hiding new versions of your website from the public until they are ready to launch.
Protecting private sections of your website so that only people you know and trust can read them.
Providing paid content to your customers and only allowing access via a password.
Creating a private forum for select readers.
It's Easy to Password Protect Your Web Pages
You need to do two things:
Create a password file to store the usernames and passwords that will have access to the directory.
Create an htaccess file in the directory to be password protected.
Create the Password File
Open a new text file called.htpasswdNote the period at the beginning of the filename.
Use a password encryption program to create your passwords. Paste the lines into your .htpasswd file and save the file. You will have one line for every username that requires access.
Upload the .htpasswd file to a directory on your Web server that is not live on the Web. In other words, you should not be able to go to http://YOUR_URL/.htpasswd - it should be in a home directory or other location that is secure.
Create the htaccess File
Open a text file called.htaccessNote the period at the beginning of the filename.
Add the following to the file: AuthUserFile /path/to/htpasswd/file/.htpasswd AuthGroupFile /dev/null AuthName "Name of Area" AuthType Basic require valid-user
Change/path/to/htpasswd/file/.htpasswdto the full path to the .htpasswd file you uploaded in above.
Change"Name of Area"to the name of the site section being protected. This is used primarily when you have multiple areas with different protection levels.
Save the file and upload it to the directory you want protected.
Test that the password works by accessing the URL. If your password doesn't work, go back to the encryption programs and encrypt it again. Remember that the username and password will be case-sensitive. If you are not prompted for a password, contact your system administrator to make sure that HTAccess is turned on for your site.

Hello Bernie,
Unfortunately there is no inbuilt option in Muse to add the location indicator (Breadcrumbs) to pages. However if you post your site on Business Catalyst you can use the business Catalyst feature and module to show these breadcrumbs on your site. You can use the video on adding CMS to your muse site from Business Catalyst.
