  • How OSB archive the file name

How OSB archive the file name?
I have used JCA adapter to archive file while reading in OSB and OSB does archive the file with different name.
But OSB is creating the file with name as understandable form. Is it possible to give my own defined name while archiving the file(s).
    Please help me !
    -Thanks

I dont think it is possible to change the names of the archive files once OSB processes the file. I haven't found any references of the same in the JCA adapter documentation as well.
You can check with Oracle support if this is feasible.
    Thanks,

  • How to archive the IDOC

    Hi
How to archive the IDOC to remove error form some report
    Thanks
    Manjunatha

    Hi
goto Transaction SARA , Archiving Object  - IDOC - IDoc - Intermediate Document
1 .Enter the archiving object IDOC and choose the required action, here  Write (= Archive).
A warning will be displayed if some of the archiving sessions for the archiving object IDoc are still incomplete. You can ignore the warning but you then run the risk of possibly archiving some IDocs twice.
    2. Define the  start date of the archiving session and the  spool parameters (print output).
The traffic lights should now be green, indicating that these parameters have been maintained. Please note that you can set the archiving mode for the print output to Store Only and therefore avoid printing every individual archiving log. Enter the object type IDOC as the attachment parameter and use the F4 Help to select a suitable document type for the object type. Also enter a free text as Additional information for the archiving report.
    4. Choose   Maintain to create a report variant. As selection parameters, enter the message type and a time period within which the IDocs received their last, current status.
5.You can specify whether you want to perform this variant as Test or Production, in the Process Flow segment of the selection parameter screen. If you choose Test, you get statistics of the processed IDocs. For a detailed log, select Detailed Log.
       6.         Choose  Continue and save your variant.
       7.      Return to the archiving screen and choose .
If you selected immediately in step 3, the message New archiving job was generated is displayed in the message bar at the bottom of the screen.
           8.      You can check whether your archiving session is complete by selecting Job overview. If you choose Administration, an overview of the completed and incomplete archiving runs is then displayed. If IDocs which match your selection parameters were found in the database tables, your archiving session is displayed as a folder full of archive files.

  • How To Archive Encore CS3 projects

Question: How To Archive Encore CS3 projects
I edit my AVI files in Premiere Pro CS3 and then author in Encore CS3. When the project is finished, I want to archive both the Premiere and Encore projects. If I need to restore a project, I would recapure the AVI files from the mini DV tapes using Premiere.
What Encore and Premiere files and folders do I have to save so I can later restore the project?
What files and folders can I erase?
    Thank you for the feedback.

Adobe Premiere Pro is very similar to Final Cut Pro (non-X). It has a number of pros, including being bundled with the Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop.
Avid Media Composer is, IMHO the best "story telling" editor, but is a little more difficult and unwieldy when it comes to effects etc. In addition to being pricey, it also require compliance with the use of only AVID approved hardware.
Autodesk has Smoke on the Mac, which is an excellent effects editor, but with a $17K price tag.
My personal plan is to bunker my FCS 3 systems and run them until they drop, while slowly and comfortable migrating to Premiere Pro.
One big advantage to either of these editors (with the exception of Smoke on the Mac)  is that they are cross-platform, so if you learn the Mac version you can switch easily to the PC version - which protects your investment of time in learning the softwre as the future for the Mac Pro is also hazy.

  • How to archive messages in Mail when using Gmail?

I'm quite happy with the new look they've given Mail in OSX Lion and I was thrilled to see the Archive button, as I'm a Gmail user. But, as you might now, that Archive button does not move messages to "All Mail" as Gmail would. Instead it creates a new IMAP folder, which is then created in your Gmail account which is not what we are after. On my iPhone, moving the message to the "All Mail" folder does the trick, however I just tried that in Lion's Mail and it seems to work (from a Mail perspective) but once I go into Gmail (web) the messages are still there in the inbox. I guess that Gmail does not move them as the messages are already in the All Mail folder. I know it is not (at the moment) possible to modify how the "Archive" button works, but does anyone know if I can at least move the messages into the "All Mail" folder? I was doing it in Snow Leopard and it worked just fine.

Make sure you have Auto-Expunge turned on in your GMail settings under 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP'. I had the same issue, and turning this on did the trick.

    Hi,<br>
    PU22
    Description
After you have created an archiving group, you can use the archiving
menu to carry out all the further steps in archiving.
    Note
There are differences between the business and the technical side of
         archiving.
The business side includes all the preparation work before data is
actually removed from the database. This includes the following
points within the archiving menu; Edit archiving group, Personnel
         numbers and HR archiving preparation.
The technical side includes the transfer of data to the archive and
deletion from the database. These activities are outlined in the
Archiving group of the archiving menu.
An archiving group can be changed, depending on it's status. If you have
not already assigned any personnel numbers to the archiving group, you
can still change all the archiving group's characteristics. If you have
already assigned personnel numbers to the archiving group, you can no
    longer change the following characteristics:
o   Whether to use Payroll, and for which country you use it
o   Which payroll data should be archived
o   If travel data and/or time evaluation results are processed in
        Payroll
If you have already checked personnel numbers in the test run, you
should repeat this test after changing the archiving group.
    Note
An archiving group that has been released for archiving can no
        longer be changed.
FURTHER read the documentation of  the PU22 tode. same with SARA.
Copying and  pasting is more like junk. I would recommend you to go to SAP and read the document in the t-codes itself.
    Good luck<br><br>

  • How to archive attachments

    Dear experts,
I don't know how to archive files attached to transactions?
When I archive transactions, are they also archived at the same time?
Or do I have to archive transactions and attachments separately?
'BC_LOIO' seems the archive object for me when seeing t-cd:aobj.
    Please help me.

    Fukuhara Yohei
Edited by: Yohei Fukuhara on Dec 25, 2009 1:59 PM

    Hello,
Attachments to your business transaction will not be archived when you archive your business document.
First you have to figure out where is your attachment stored?
If it is stored in SAP Table then you can think of relocation / migration of attachments to your external content server.
If attachment is already stored in external content server then nothing to worry about these documents. Users can display Physical attachments even after you archive business document from respective archiving object.
Hope this will answer your question.
    -Thanks,
    Ajay
