    hi,
You can assign a credit limit to a group of customers, as well as to an individual customer. If a company has different branches, you would define the credit limit for just one customer in this group (the head office) and this customer account then becomes the credit account.
    Procedure
To assign a credit account to a branch account, from the Credit Management screen, choose Master data - Change.
Enter the name of your customer, the corresponding credit control area and select the Status indicator.
The system displays the Change Customer Credit Management: Status screen.
Choose the function Edit - Change credit account. In the dialog box that appears, you can enter the credit account (the account number of the customer you are using) to set the credit limit for the entire group.
After you choose ENTER, the system contains the credit limit of the branch as 0.00. The Credit account field displays the account number of the customer for which the reference credit limit is defined.
You can only specify a credit account within a credit control area.
The accumulating total of receivables is recorded both for the reference customer and the "dependent" customer. However, the system checks only against the reference customer as to whether the credit limit has been exceeded.
When displaying the credit account, you can view which customers are referenced to this account. To do this, from the credit account master data screen, choose Edit - Cust. for credit acct.

  • How to inactive "Credit Limit" field under "Payment Term" tab of BP Master

    Hi,
Can anyone tell how to inactive "Credit Limit" field under "Payment Term" tab of BP Master Data in BP module?   I'd prefer to revise SAP SP (store procedure)...
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Michelle,
You could use the sample codes available while installing the SDK setup.
like in this path C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM UI\VB.NET
Add this code under SBO_Application_ItemEvent which will disable the field.
            If (pVal.FormType = 134 And pVal.EventType = SAPbouiCOM.BoEventTypes.et_FORM_LOAD And pVal.Before_Action = False) Then
                Dim oforms As SAPbouiCOM.Form
                Dim oitems As SAPbouiCOM.Item
                oforms = SBO_Application.Forms.GetFormByTypeAndCount(pVal.FormType, pVal.FormTypeCount)
                oitems = oforms.Items.Item("85")
                oitems.Enabled = False
            End If
Note that the above is only a sample code and you have to track other events as well to disable this field like in add mode, browsing records
If you need help with SDK, post it in SDK forum.

  • How to change credit limit used % in fd32

    Hi all,
Credit limit has been maintained to customer with max of 2,00,000 inr previously. Now Credit exporsure is 1,50,000 inr. credit limit used  is 75%.
But we are going to set new credit limit to a particular customer with 1,00,000 inr.
We have changed credit limit to 1,00,000 in FD32. Now credit limit has been changed to 1,00,000.
But the problem is credit limit used percentage 150%. I want to reset the credit limit used to 0%.
How to make credit limit used from 150% to 0% without any FI adjustment? ( since this has to be done in production server)
    Thanks in advance,
    Babu

How is the Credit Exposure of Rs. 1,50,000 calculated?
Is it outstanding Invoices to be paid by the Customer? Then once the Customer pays the amount the % would come to 0.
Is it due to Open sales order or Open Deliveries or Open Invoices? Then once the entire cycle is completed then the % would come to zero.
    Hope this helps..

  • Assigning Credit limit on Customer creation

    Dear All,
Is there any way to Assign Credit limit to ZERO automatically when i create customer using xd01.
    Thank you,
    NoMi

    Hi,
you can have a default credit limit when you r creating customer
maintain value in the field Credit limit in OB45 - Define credit control area
Credit limit entered in the related control area of the customer's
credit master record which is automatically created when a customer is
    created in a company code.
The credit master record is automatically maintained when at least one
of the following fields si maintained
    o   risk category
    o   credit representative group
    o   credit limit
is maintained for the corresponding control area.
In this way you can ensure that a credit restriction will be effective
for new customers, too, as soon as the customer has been created.

After maintaining the mandatory field in CRM; we are re-processing the stuck BDOC and again it is getting into the error message with error "A number range is not assigned to account group Sold-to party".
We have checked the number range and grouping configuration both in ECC and CRM. But still not able to identify the gaps. Is there a detailed step-by-step approach which can be taken up to resolve the issue.

    Hiiiii
It is very much possible in SAP
first you have to create credit control area
then assign your company code to your credit control area
then create your customer and assign credit control area in billing tab (for that u have to activate credit control area for your transaction by OB20)
    Then go to t-code VOA8
assing credit check to your sales document type
create credit control area automatic with your credit control area.

  • How to set credit limit on Agent

    Hi All
In My scenario  Liability is generated on Customer but i want to consider agent as well for credit limit.
As i know credit limit is set on the payer partner function but here i have created Agent as a partner function who is not the payer.
How to set credit management settings on agent.
Do i need to take help of an Abaper for this.
    regards
    Prabhakar

    hi,
this is to inform you that,
what is the business logic on the same. please let me know.
    1. if your customer as well as Agent is one and the same that means customer then you can have credit limit on the same as per your requriment.
    2. if your AGENT is not playing a role of a customer but a partner then speak to your ABAPER by giving PARTNER INDEX NUMBER which will generate on including the AGENT in the sales order.
    3. please ask your whether it is not possible or not:
3.1. create a Z table with maintaince views with the list of partner's to consider for credit limit.
3.2. assign or link this Z table to the credit limit creation program or include.
    please check and confirm

  • Credit Memo Creation - Sold-to-party / Ship-to-party fields

I am trying to create a SD Credit memo document.
From the thread Credit Memo Creation I understand that  the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2  cant be used and instead I gotta use the FM SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE for this purpose.
On this backdrop, I am trying to pass sold-to-party / ship-to-party values into this FM.
But, in the structure SALES_HEADER_IN type BAPISDHD1, I couldnt find the fields to pass these values.
Please advise the name of the fileds/structure where I should pass shiptoparty and soldtoparty values.
In VA01 screen, you could see these fields.

  • How to automatically set value of sold to party field in crmd_order screen?

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where we have to automatically populate a standard SAP screen field when the screen opens. The T-code is crmd_order and the field is present in the fast entry tab whenu201Dcreate support messageu2019 is clicked. Now I am trying to achieve this by implementing the BADI which this T code calls. There are no user exits to this as per my understanding. There are some 20 BADIs this Tcode calls before opening. I have tried implementing almost all of them but the value is not getting reflected on the screen field. List of BADIu2019s called are as below.
We are trying to automatically populate the sold to party field based upon the guid of the support message. Based upon this guid of the support message we are fetching list of partner function from u201CBAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_GETDETAILMULTu201D. Then we are taking the partner function value of u201CSLFN0002u201D. The BP number captured from this partner function will be passed to u201CBAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_GETDETAILu201D to get the country of the super user. Based on this country the sold to party is to be determined.
We have made a Z table for fetching this sold to party/region based on the country derived from above logic:
    Z Table
    Country                 Region/Customer/sold to party
    IN                            IN/BAN-C1
    BD                          IN/BAN-C2
    US                          US/CAN-C1
Now these unique (sold to party/region) values  based on the country has to be populated automatically on the sold to party field of the screen (CRMD_ORDER).
The logic for deriving the same is correct and the main problem is to default it on the screen field. After getting the value of the required field I am trying to display it on the screen by using the standard FM u201CCRM_ORDER_MAINTAINu201D and passing the value in IT_PARTNER.The FM is getting executed but the value is not getting reflected on the screen. I donu2019t understand where it is going wrong I am not able to solve this.Kindly let me know if anyone can throw some light on this.
    Regds,
    vlp

    Hi vlp,
You can achive it with BAdI:CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK. Actually I've implemented the similar case  with this BAdI. This BAdI is called many times because it always works when any field is changed. So you should restrict the timing your logic works.

  • Credit Limit on basis by specific product

    Dear Experts,
Could you please suggest me any body how to maintain credit limit by specific material (Product).
Let say Customer Pepsi has 3 products i.e X,Y and Z....pepsi (customer) has credit limit 100 USD. Here the customer credit limit is 100 usd but this customer has that credit limit by product wise that is:
    X Product 30 usd
    Y Product 50 usd
    Z Product 20 USD
When they are creating they wont cross credit limit by product wise even though the customer has credit limit if X product credit limit 20 usd exceeded. Could you please suggest me how to maintain this scenario.
    Thanks in advance,
    VS

    Workaround is:
    1) Create three different credit control areas.
    2) Assign the three different credit control areas to the respective sales areas.
    3) Maintain different credit limits for the customer in the individual credit control areas.
    4) Whenever the order is created in the respective sales area the credit limit for that particular sales area will come into picture.
Assumption is that three different materials belong to three different divisions so that the sales area is differing. Because of different sales area you can assign different credit control areas.

    GSL.

    hello, friend.
credit management focuses on the customer.  credit info centers on the customer/credit account.  materials are not directly controlled by credit management.
however, it is possible to do credit management per material by assigning different divisions to your materials.  then, you define and assign different credit control areas to your sales areas.  indirectly, materials can then be controlled by the different credit control areas.  you can have different credit limits for a customer pre credit control area, all controlled in turn by a central credit limit (total).
however, this is not recommended as it complicates your credit management.  it may also pose problems in your sales order processing, despite the ability to process several divisions in the same document.
    regards.
