How to avoid address validation popup in CRM5.0

Hi,
Since the CRM system is upgraded to 5.0, we are receiving this warning popup when address for a BP is maintained while creating a BP:
Error in address check:
No long text found ***
Accept address?
And the user has to press YES to move ahead everytime. This popup was not appearing in CRM4.0.
Any idea how to get rid of this popup? How to supress this address validation?
Regards,
Kaushal

No, I think I might found the solution in note 1014597. I am waiting to see if this does resolve my issue.
Thanks for your help.

  • How to avoid security note popup?

    Hi,
I have two BSP Applications, which I start from SRM Enterprise Buyer via new window. I have created an internet service user, which I put in the ICF service of the application.
    Here goes the question.
In one of my BSPs the new window appears like expected. In the otherone I get a popup message (I must translate this from German to English, but I hope you get the contents):
    The popup says:
    <i>Title: Security note
You are about to turn to an insecure connection. data which has been sent to the prior site, will possibly be sent to the insecure site. Do you wish to continue?</i>
Why is that? Both ICF entries use the same user and look the same - under security there is a radio at standard in both cases.
The URL of the BSP without Popup looks like this:
    http://<host>:8028/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z_imp_all1/start.htm
the one with popup like this:
    http://<host>:8028/sap(bD1kZSZjPTMwMQ==)/bc/bsp/sap/z_scan_pzn1/start.htm?sicht=pzn&username=MEYERM&HOOK_URL=https%3A%2F%2Fukmsapweb%2E<host>%2Ede%3A9211%2Fscripts%2Fwgate%2Fbbppu99354e5a01%2F%3F%7EOkCode%3DADDI%26%7Etarget%3D%5Ftop%26%7ECALLER%3DCTLG&OCI_VERSION=3%2E0&http_content_charset=iso%2D8859%2D1&returntarget=%5Ftop
Any ideas, how to avoid the popup, welcome.
    regards, Matthias

    Hi Renald and Rainer,
to Renald: Yes, I have also checked Internet options -- advanced, and unchecked the warning, when switching from save to unsave mode. I also unchecked the warning, if formular data is being redirected. Still this takes no effect. And anyway, I can't see the point, because from the same https page I've got two links which link to http-BSPs. One brings about the unwanted popup - the otherone, with apparently same settings does the security popup. The link itself is launched via JavaScript, like this:
    <a href="JavaScript:launchCTLG('PZN_Scan');" class="catalog" alt="PZN" title="PZN">PZN</a>
to Rainer: I checked the note you gave. It contained a chm file. It also refers to the situation, that you get the popup message, when leaving https and turning to http. It also provides a solution like this:
    <iframe id="myIframe" src="JavaScript:void(0);"></iframe>
In fact I can't change/modify the call of the URL - and it is already being called via JavaScript. The EBP page is SRM generated.
I shall try to copy the BSP application, that works fine without popup, and then put in the code of the popup-version... and see what happens next.
Thanks so far. I shall give feedback, when I have finished.

  • Postal address validation popup

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to display popup with multiple addresses which are similar to address keyed by agent to decide the correct address. I found an Link: [SAP note 1017763 |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1017763] which describes a possible solution. I have tried that solution but didn't get desired results.
I will appreciate if any one who has already implemented such solution could share his experiences.
    My requirements are:
    1. validate street address (ADDRESS_CHECK BAdI implemented for that)
    2. If address is re-determined then display suggested addresses to agent in IC Web as pop-up
    3. Give agent option to accept suggested address or use the keyed address
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to avoid mandatory fields popup when cancelling a transaction

    Hi All,
I have created a Employee create page and put some mandatory fields on it
and have 2 buttons apply and cancel . if i navigate to that page and not enter anything and press cancel button a dialog comes up asking me to enter mandatory fields
what should i do to avoid that popup ?
    thanks

    Either
    1) disable client side validation on press of cancel button
2)Or Don't mark the fields required and handle this in ur code on apply button event as server side validation.

  • How to avoid JMS validation when starting weblogic server

    Hi All,
When starting up WebLogic server, it will validate JMS destinations one by one for deployed applications.
If I don't connect the VPN, then these JMS destinations are not reachable, and WebLogic Server will spend a lot of time to try connecting to these JMS destinations.
Thus it will take a lot of time to startup the WebLogic Server.
How can I disable JMS validation when starting weblogic server?
    Thanks and Regards!

    Hi Daniel,
By blank do you mean that the screen is black? Is it gray? Is it blue? The word "blank" is vague when trying to determine and isolate startup issues.

  • How to avoid JWS launch popups?

When I start my JWS application I get 2 popups. First a Java logo on orange background and then a Javaws window stating which application its launching.
If I start my application with "-Xnosplash" then the java logo dosent show but the second popup still does. Is the second popup a 1.6.0_18 bug - I dont remember seeing it before although I havent looked at JWS for some time?
When I start the JWS application first time and installation kicks in it looks like I get a Javaws popup for every extension installer jnlp file mentioned in the main jnlp. It makes the installation look like a clumsy mess.
    btw. im using 1.6.0_18-b07

    ghaneman wrote:
I think what you are seeing is bug 6918186. How that one got passed testing is beyond me.
    Yes thats the same bug.
However I do understand how it was overlooked considering how many other serious bugs JWS has. Been looking into JWS for only a couple of hours today and I found that
    1) If you uninstall a javaws app while the webserver the app came from is down then Javaws fails to invoke the uninstaller main class but still removes the main jars of the app - leaving the app half uninstalled and corrupt.
    2) Uninstalling a JWS app from the Windows Control Panel is broken - the user gets a message that the app "may already be uninstalled" although it isnt.
    3) An app may show up twice in the Java Cache Viewer although its only installed once (and only after logging out of windows and back in). Pressing uninstall on one of the occurances wont do anything while doing the same to the other works.
    4) And as mentioned above Javaws will show the download popup just about every time is has to do anything.

  • Required Validation: How to avoid Annoying Validation Message

    Hi friends,
I have a situation where i don't want to see the validation until i click commit button. I found out through some googling that if SkipValidation= true is set on pageDef file then you won't have that issue. And yes it seems working for form/sub-form case but i am dealing with attribute in the table:
When i insert new row in the af:table or clear value of an existing required attribute then the validation error popup and won't let me go anyway. And according to Andrejus blog at http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2012/09/what-to-do-when-adf-editable-table.html , we can achieve this using immediate= true for the table attribute itself. But I am kind of worried that i will skip some adf life cycle doing that. I was wondering if there is some other may be out of box way like skipValidation for table as well.
    Thanks
    JDEV: 11.1.1.6.0

    Hi Timo,
Sorry not helpful at all, i have already mentioned in my question that, skipValidation = true approach won't work for editable table only for form/sub-form and only working solution i have it setting table attribute to immediate, but i was looking to see if any other approach is there which is better then immediate = true, since i will skip some life cycle if i do so.
    Thanks

  • How to Avoid Infinite Validation Cycles (JBO-28200) = urgent.. , pls help

    Hi Guys,
On my order entries application I have these attributes :
    ProdCode
    Qty
    WHCode
    Batch
User only enters ProdCode and Qty, the application will then pick the warehouse and batch where the product and the quantity is available.
So I put the logic inside validateEntity method and SETs the WHCode and Batch Attributes from within it. Here comes the problem, this cause ERROR :
JBO-28200: Validation threshold limit reached. Invalid Entities still in cache
Where else can I put this logic ? that executes only ONCE per entity ?
(If I put the logic in the setProdCode and setQty methods, it will be called twice , isn't it ?)

  • How to avoid Entity Object validations when comiting a DB transaction

    Hello,
I have a screen that have three sections:
    1. Header
    2. First tab that contains rows, lets call it User Details  - only the ability to add records and update existing
    3. Second tab that contains rows, lets call it Roles  - ability to create, modify and delete
-- I have a Save and Cancel button
I have an Entity Object that covers the whole page UserDetailsEO and it has its validation methods on the implementation UserDetailsEOImpl.java.
On the second tab when deleting the record, the delete binding method its called and it has a row to commit the transaction. By doing so the validations for the EO are called.
However I want to avoid performing validation at this point. I can delete rows without any validation, I just want to do the validation when clicking Save.
Is there any way to accomplish this?
    Thank you,

  • How to avoid the transport request popup when changing real-time load behav

  • PCUI Integration with Address Validation

    Hi Friends,
Iam working in CRM 5.0. Please find my requirement below:
When accounts are created with or changed with PCUI and IC Web client: display feedback from Address validation software, using the "out of the box" GUI integration as a model.
    1.  Display addresses validation warnings/correction feedback, if any. The user will have the option to:
         a. Accept the address validation software correction , or
         b. Bypass the warning and use the original address that they entered, or
         c. Cancel and return to account maintenance
    2.  Display duplicate candidates and allow the user to switch to a duplicate candidate if desired by clicking
the candidate (instead of proceeding with account creation)
How can I check whether the Address Validation software is integrated with PCUI? If it is not integrated, then is there any configuration to be done to get the popups for address validation and duplicate check?
Your suggestions and Ideas will be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Raju...

    Hi
You can build up the logic for Duplicate Search and display it as a popup in PCUI
The logic can be put in Modify method of the class in PCUI  so that when user enters a  address the duplicate records are found
You can then display the records in a popup in PCUI side
