How to backup Apex applications using some script ?

We have Apex 3.1 installed on our server.
We have several workspaces + applications installed.
I wanted to backup all the apex applications in our database, just as a precautionary measure.
I know we can export each application individually using the web login, but I was wondering
if there is any kind of sql script or something which I can run as a batch job in windows which
will automatically backup all the apex applications installed.

Does the logical backups of the database what we take include the Apex applications as well ?
So lets say:
Database schema name: abc
apex workspace: abc_ws
applications in that workspace: 1,2,3,4,5
Now at the database level if export the ABC schema and restore it to another database,
will my apex applications are also backed up ?

My (MS Windows) experience, if I may; perhaps you'll find something useful.
You'll find the README.TXT file in /apex/utilities directory. Read it.
In order to use APEXExport, you need JDK version 1.5 or higher. Check your version by typing (and viewing the result):
C:\>java –version
java version "1.6.0_06"

Check whether it exists (in Control Panel - System - Advanced - Environment Variables). I chose to export the whole workspace. In order to do that, I need the workspace ID (got it from Apex's SQL Workshop; that might be a problem as you can't get there, can you? I can't tell how to find that information apart from SQL Workshop, but I'm pretty sure someone, who is much more experienced than me, will know it). OK, here's how you find it:select v('WORKSPACE_ID') from dual;Finally, here's the final step - export:C:\apex\utilities>java oracle.apex.APEXExport -db localhost:1521:xe -user scott -password tiger -workspaceid 1038408092496568The result are fxxx.sql files (where "xxx" represents application number).
I hope you'll manage to export your applications; basically, nothing special here (except that ".\" directory in the CLASSPATH variable).

Calling Apex Application using a php script

Hi guys,how can i directly call my Apex Application using a php script.i have apex 2.1 intalled on my system.i created an application and i want my application users to connect directly to the applications login page.I mean somthing like this
(http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=103)
and i want users to connect using somthing like this
(http://my system/index.php) or localhost/index.php?
i can run a script query and access my data stored on the database,but what i really want is to connect directly to the login page of my application,so that the staffs in HR can connect direstly to there HR application while those in Sales Will connect direcly to there applications page so it will look like this
http://my system/hr.php
http://mysystem/sales.php

Please suggest some pointer on how to remotely deploy adf application using ant script.
I have created automatic inbuild ant script using jdevloper and ojdeploy that create a war file into my adf application deploy folder.
Now i want my war to be deploy remotely on weblogic server.
Is there any inbuld functionality provided by jdeveloper for same.
Can any one please share build.xml for adf application for deploying application remotely.
I try to use wlserver but not much success.

First of all you can delete delete the development environment, by executing apxdevrm.sql script.

I don't know how to write a application using !!webdynpro for java!! with the adobe form so that I can fill data to the adobe form and get data from the adobe form.
Note: I have configed the ADS(adobe document services),and I can create a application with a interactiveform in webdynpro for abap and run it successfully, so that I can fill data to the adobe form and get data from the adobe form.

Hey tell me one thing your BAPI having CURD methods. See you are getting data from BAPI and pull the data in Table in WDJ. So if u can do any action it will comes trough BAPI.
If your BAPI having CURD methods. You can implement CURD methods in WDJAVA also.
@ You said you are getting null values from the database. Please let me know what code you have to wrote for CURD. Please tell me.

Run the EPM configurator, expand planning and select "Deploy to Application Server", if it is a distributed environment and planning is not on the same server as the WebLogic admin server you will need to start the Admin Server

Can someone brief me on how to protect custom applications using oracle access manager?

Is the Custom application a Web Application running on certified platform? If its Web Application then its no different you have to configure the access policies with http(s) as resource type.
If its not a web application you can write Custom access Gate and then implement. You would configure the policies similar to Web application (you can define your ouwn resource type if you like) and in the custom web gate you will use Access server SDK API to validate the access rules.

The database as a service (DBaaS) provisioned database gives you a full 11gR2 or 12c database in the cloud. I don't believe we have trials for it today but more information can be found here:

I want to use a script button to run to certain UI based on the given transaction code. I am thinking there might be some ways to do so:
Option 1:
Somehow one can let the script button call the T-code in script, say, IW21, but how to write such script?
Option 2:
In the script of the script button, use "Push" or "Click" to cause an action on the launch button which contains the T-code, say /nIW21.
But on my PC, this does not work. Why?

Hi,
I have found exact answer to this question: in the script of a script button, one can first set the T-code to the /okdc component, then call "press Enter" action. By this way, any script button can be used to triggle an action for a T-code. One can set teh /okdc as "hidden". Hope this will help other newers.
