There are so many different types of scripts for so many different tools and so many different platforms. Shall we guess which is the one you need or are you going to provide actual details?
Of course you're not going to actually get it, nobody here is going to do your work for you.

  • How to build project in NWDS from ear file?

I do know that it maynot be possible to build a project from a .ear file but I am sure there must be a way out. I am sure someone else would have faced the same problem that I am facing.
This is what happened. We had a consultant working on our ESS/MSS appplications in the studio. He made changes to a few ESS/MSS applications. However, while deploying, he did not use NWDI even though we do have NWDI available. He simply imported the .ear files in all the development, quality and production portals. Because of this, the changed source code is not available on NWDI and when I import the configuration from NWDI, I only get the old source code.
I do have al the .ear files he deployed. So, my question is, is there anyway for me to build the project from the .ear file? I do know how to decompile the CLASS files on the ear file and look at the code but I was hoping for a way to build the entire project with the changed source code in NWDS. Or Is there anyway to synchronize the NWDI source code with the deployed source code. Please respond ONLY if you have actually managed to resolve this problem.

    Hi Santosh,
This is hardly possible even if you have Java decompiler -- WD has a lot compile(design)-time only artifcats that are not exist in generated EAR.

    Vipin.

  • How to go from a .wsdl to .war file to deploy on Tomcat ? (using jax-rpc?)

I have created a .wsdl file using XMLSpy and I want to deploy the service on tomcat. I have been unsuccessful in using the "wscompile -import" option.
Does anyone know how to cross-compile a .wsdl file into a .war so it can be deployed on tomcat? If there is another way other than a .war file, that is fine too...
Currently, I am using WSDL2Java tool by Apache Axis. I take my .wsdl file use the WSDL2Java tool to get the java files, Then I run the java files through wscompile, wsdeploy etc.... the problem with this approach is that the .wsdl file produced by the wsdeploy does not support the document encoding (everything switched to rpc) and no literal either (I think).
If anyone has figured out a better way of going from .wsdl to java or .war or tomcat.. please let me know.. I'm running out of options...
    Thank you !

The link worked correctly for me. You can also refer to a recently published whitepaper at

  • How can I access EJB  through executable jar file?

    Hello buddies!!
I wonder if anyone could give me an explanation of how accessing EJB through executable jar file? Thanks!!

    Hi there,
You'll need to install the J2EE SDK on the client and include the <j2ee install dir>\lib\j2ee.jar file in your CLASSPATH along with the Client Jar file that was generated by the deploytool when you deployed the application.
In your client code the Context properties are as follows:
    Properties p = new Properties();
    p.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory");
    p.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "iiop://hostname:portnumber");
Context cntx = new InitialContext(p).Hope this helps

  • How to Redeploy application in OC4J using war file

    Hi
Am new in area of 9ias and OC4J.
I have deployed and application in OC4J of 9ias 902. using enterprise manager web interface.
now i have change the contents of current jsp and added more jsp files.
do i have to recreate war file and redeploy it in oc4j? or just copy the new version of current jsp and copy new jsp in application forlder.
in case of redeploying , exterprise manager web interface asks for .ear file.
can anyone give some hint to me... it will great help
    thanks
    samir

Yes you have to rebuild the WAR file. You can deploy WAR from EMWebsite by using the deploy WAR link. If you are in development and your WAR/EAR file is constantly changing you can use standalone OC4J.

  • How to browse the directories on deployed war-files?

    Ciao!
    When I deploy a war-file on tomcat I can
    browse the directories
e.g. I would like to see all the files in the jsp folder.
Is it possible to get this under weblogic?
    Thanks and Nice greetings!

Several Macs that could only run up to 7.5.5 could have ethernet cards added to them.
Some of them were AAUI ethernet, but AAUI ethernet can be converted to 10-base-T which makes it work well with present day wireless bridges, and cable and DSL modems with OpenTransport.    MacTCP went bye-bye in Mac OS 7.5.2.
And Glen, the internet was invented in the early 1970s, if not late 1960s.    The web came to by in the early 1990s, with the first consumer friendly web browser in 1994.
    7.5.5 was released September 2006.

  • How to deploy the .ear and the .war file

    Hi all,
I am using Jdev 11.1.1.0 and weblogic 10.3.1 and I want to deploy a very simple application.
I have successfully deployed it to an ear file, so I have in my folders two file: a .war file and a .ear file.
Now, what steps have I to do to deploying my application on WebLogic Server?
I have searched in the forum and in the manual, and this link ( http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/b31974/deployment_topics.htm#CHDFJADJ ) but I can't find nothing that help me
    Thanks
    Edited by: user10799119 on 25-ago-2009 7.45

Thanks, I have just read http://radalcove.com/blog/?p=34 and http://radalcove.com/blog/?p=48.
I am in my weblogic console, I have clicked Install --> I have choose my ear file --> activate changes, but I had this error: No credential mapper entry found for password indirection user=myUser for data source myConnection.
I have read some post in the blog and I have unchecked Auto generate and sinchronize weblogic-jdbc.xml descriptors during deployment.
Clicking in activate changes, it works, and the deployment is in the state "prepared".
When I click on start I have this error: No credential mapper entry found for password indirection user=myUser for data source myConnection (without the final DS).
I have seen that in myJDBCConnection --> configuration --> connection pool, I have not the user name and the password. I have inserted them, but I have the same error.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks again

  • Building an EJB Client

I'm completely confused on how to build an EJB client automagically using Ant.
I have a simple EJB, which I compile using the wlwBuild Ant task. If I set the "ejbgen.jar-settings.ejb-client-jar" property in the project's build.properties, the client jar gets built, but it then ends up in the application EAR file. Worse yet, the generated application.xml descriptor includes the client module. Deploying the ear file fails since WebLogic tries to deploy both modules, and it blows up on NamingExceptions.
I've kludged the process by using wlwBuild and then 'fixing' the resulting EAR file, but that's far from ideal. It works for simple projects, but not Integration projects with the auto-generated very ugly EJB names.
I've looked at wlappc, but the documentation is so scarce I can't tell if this is the tool to use, or how to make it work. Trial and error has gotten me nowhere...:(
So the question is: how can I build the EJB client through Ant without having it end up in the application EAR?
    thanks

  • Deploy war file to JBOSS server

I have a simple project called "Test" which just has a "System.out.println" statement. After I build it, I Exported the war file to "{install dir}\JBOSS\jboss-4.0.0\server\default\deploy". when I ran the project at "//localhost:8080/Test". I got the following errors in the JBOSS server window:

do you know how to fix it? Thanks.

The project I'm working on has two part:
    - Web application (a war file)
    - Enterprise application (an ear file)
I tried to merge them to one part and make the web application a web module of the enterprise application. I deployed the war into the ear file and the web application can be accessed successfully on my local testing machine. However, when I deploy the ear file on the server, I couldn't access to the web application anymore. Any explanation/solution would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chuottui.
