is there any FM to calculate this?

Hi Sudha,
In your company , If they are maintaining Time Events then you can get the information of Employee's Presense or Absense from infotype 2011 (Time Events) and Absense from 2001 (Absense)..
Also Consider Factory Calender for it.. and check out working days..

I need to calculate the number of days worked by contractor employees for a time period to be entered by a user. I am building a query on an infoset which contains employee information including contract start date and contract end date for the employee.
Ideally I'd like the user to enter the time period which should be reported on e.g. 01.08.2009 to 31.08.2009
The report should then identify all the contractor employees which were working during this period and to work out how many days they worked during this period. Obviously the contract start and end dates could fall both inside and outside the reporting period.
Can this be done and if so, do you have any suggestions as to how to do it?

How to calculate the number of days until your next birthday. Only using current month, day and birth month and day.

I'm trying to calculate the number of days until your next birthday. Only using current month, day and birth month and day. I can get close but i'm way off. When i enter in the next day, the amount of days is supposed to be 364. This is where I am having problems. I know my code is way off. I just need some guidance please!

How to calculate number of working days

Hi experts,
I need to determine the number of working days from two given dates. Below is my example.
1. Posting Date
2. Clearing Date
3. Processing Time in Days
The formula is:
Processing Time in Days = Posting Date - Clearing Date
However, the above result should exclude non-working days such as Public Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
This is to be done in my Transfer Rule.
Can someone help me with this.

Let's say that the Open date/time is in A2 and the Resolved date/time in B2.
The formula for the resolution time is =B2-A2
Format the cell with the formula with the custom number format d:hh:mm
This will work as long as the number of days is at most 31.

I have a key figure in the InfoCube 0IC_C03 witch contain the last date of movement of material.
(it is a key figure created in format date and contain the max value).
How can I to calculate the number of days between this date (last movement), till today date (system date).
I need to show:
material........last movement.....days without movements.
xxxxxxxxxxx.....dd/mm/yyyy..........9999
Im trying to do this calculation in bex using variable formula but it doesn't work becouse current date (customer exit) brings sy-datum in format yyyymmdd and the kf-last-mov is in format number (I dont know what kind of number)

Here we are using the version 7.0 and SP 10, I'm afraid I could not understand you. I Can't find the function DATE_DIFF (Where is it?)
I'm using the formula and it doesn't work. Coud you see the result is:
last movement date     Today date        result
02.04.2007                  20.070.625       19.337.856
18.05.2007                  20.070.625       19.337.810
the "today date" is from customer exit and the result is a strange number to me.
Could you help me?

How to show no. of actual working days in Payslip in case of +ve time mgt

Dear Experts,
We have a requirement of showing no. of actual working days in payslip, which should be Calendar Days-(Paid+Unpaid absence). I created an w/t 1WRD for actual working days. Our paid absence w/t is 2006 and unpaid absence is 2005 copied from /845 and /846 respectively, both the absences are included in absence valuation table and working fine in that respect. But issue is i wrote a small PCR for calculating actual working days like below:
ZWRD
     NUM=TKSOLL Set
     NUM-E 2005
     NUM-E 2006
    ADDWTE1WRD
But still its fetching full working days i.e. calendar days 30 or 31 not deducting paid or unpaid absence for a month.
Pls help, what else should i do.

Edge plan is paying full price over 20 months and paying taxes on it up front, you then after paying 60% of the device off can edge up to another device. Now if you pay 60% off at anytime after 30 days you can continue to trade them in for new as much as you want.
Or you can wait it out get a new free device under contract or reduced cost device again under a 2 year contract.
The edge plan is no contract.

In some case, I should write some measures for MDX language , but I do not know how to calculate it in logic layer in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0.
Note: The muti-datasource is ESSBASE and version is 11.1.1.2
My requirement is as below:
There are many dimensions in ESSBASE. Store is Location member. If one store has sales in one day, I should count it. So I want to count all stores for sales.
If I write MDX in ESSBASE or logical layer in OBIEE directly, it will generate sum value in OBIEE for several day, not MAX value.
For example:
2012/11/29, it has 1500 stores.
2012/11/30, it has 1510 stores.
If users select two day, it will sum these value and be 3010 stores. The expect result is 1510.
This is my MDX language in Logic Layer:
EVALUATE_AGGR('MAX( Operation.currentmember.Siblings,%1)', "Sales Cube"."Sales".""."Sales"."Is_Close" )

Assuming that the report which you are trying to build is for BI/Dashboard purpose and if you take a case that you need the counts on Monthly basis then you can build your logic in following ways:
Parameter - Month - Year (Apr 2013)
Start Count = No of active employees present as of the last working day of the last Month (in this case as of 31st March 2013)
No of New hires = No of employees who have DOJ between 01-APr-2013 and 30-APR-2013
No of Left employees = No of employees who have Actual termination date between 01-APr-2013 and 30-APR-2013
Transfer Out and In = Based on the business definition of transfer you can see the movements between 01-APr-2013 and 30-APR-2013 and build your logic
Similarly you can build your logic for Quarter, Half yearly and yearly counts too.

I am doing some upgradation work in that i am using Submit & And return and also i am using some function modules like LIST FROM MEMORY , LIST TO TXT wnd WRITE LIST , it gives output in normal list format , But i need to print in ALV report .
With the use of set table for 1st display i got the ALV report but not with actual data, (some junk value is showing) , So can any 1 suggest me how to get the actual data in ALV report, With the use of Any Function Module or with Coding,

I am sure you must be getting the values in tables of table parameters from every FM.
consolidate the values from tables of all FMs in one table and built ALV for that table only.
I hope this way you can show the actual data in ALV.

Please help me how to calculate the Current APC.
The Current APC (Acquisition and Production Cost) is a calculated value based on Previous Year Acquisition balance plus any value changes up to the time of the report.
The Asset History Report (RAGITT_ALV01) calculates the Current APC value &
The Current APC can also be found in the Asset Explorer (transaction code AW01N) under Country Book 10/ Posted Values tab then the line Acquisition Value and column Posted values.
I suppose that the calculation of Current APC (Acquisition and Production Cost) is getting done in the GET statements in the report RAGITT_ALV01, but unable to find the actual logic.
Please help me.
