I have some function inside my plugin which i want to call from javascript. Is it possible? Sorry, im new to plugin programming.
For example, i have plugin with function func() which i want to call from external javascript. In what way i will be able to achieve this?

Is it possible to assign ID to function and specifying that ID during executeAction call in script?
Like at the time of executeaction call we will specify pluginID and functionID as parameter so that function will execute from the respective plugin. Is it possible ?

I think I'd better make it clearer.
I have a dropdown list in one jsp page, when user select one item of the list, he can press a "Get record" button in the page. so all the info of this particular record will be loaded into the same page. Then the user still can press "Modify" or "Delete" button to do other transaction to this record.

One common way to accomplish this is simply by using your form to post to the same page. So when the user selects one of the items from the dropdown list, the page will post to itself, including a parameter that represents that item (ie. a unique key from the database). You can then get the parameter, retrieve the relevant info from the database, and display it to the screen.

1 - i wnat to ask few things as i m new to apex, i am using apex 4.1, and created 3 select list and a button in seleting of parameter,
1 select list : select area
2 select list: select product
3- select list - size of the product
i want to generate Ids for the follwing. for that i created query for INSERTING RECORD FROM ONE TABLE TO ANOTHER , generation the ids when button pressed "Generate" after selecting parameters,
Now where i call that QUERY on button ? because when i create button its gives me option to submit, defined dynamic action, etc, pls gudie me where i call the function name id_generation when button pressed?.
2- second thing i creared tabular " select user_id, product_name, product_type from product".
by defualt check box list are create delete submit button are created, first when i insert record it saves that was fine, e.g i entered 50 records and afterward i want to update only one record, e.g there is a record product name = box, if i change it to box small and click submit then it saves all the page means all 50 records,
i want to submit only that record that i changed, for that i use the logic that only those records should be updated which are checked but the user. how will i do this ? where to use the preocess , please guide

If I understand what you are trying to do is correct you could possibly do this by:
Creating and AFTER INSERT trigger on the table based on the tabular form which inserts the record into a seperate table after the record is inserted something like:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER copy_records
AFTER INSERT ON table a
REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
FOR EACH ROW
DECLARE
BEGIN
INSERT INTO table b
VALUES :NEW.col1, :NEW.col2 etc......
END;
There is also a way that you could do it within the form using a cursor on the tabular form with APEX_APPLICATION.G_ ......

structure doesnot hold any data. instead of it you can check the stucture in which table it is used, find the table name,use select query to extract the data u needed.
you can use where used list option to find the structure in which table it is used.

Give some idea for the below scenario:
I ve created a simple web service and consumed it in a model. What I did was
1) for the input parameters, mapped the node from view->custom controller->model
2)for the output parameter, mapping from model->custom controller->view.
It works fine.
But I don't want to access model nodes directly, rather I want to set the input param in somewhere else (like custom controller) before calling the appropriate method, same for the response also.
Share me your thoughts.

it is not clear to me if you are having problems with calling java code from OIM or if the problem is the web service API.
Lets do some divide and conquer:
Can you create a simple java class that just writes a couple of lines to the log? Please attach this code to the OIM task and make sure it runs.
Once this works we can start looking at the web service call.

If you have a jar file with a class that you wish to use, then you must add the jar file to your class path ($CLASSPATH on unix, linux, etc. and %CLASSPATH% on Windows).
Then you can use the class normally, just as you would if it were not in the jar.
If you meant something else, you'll need to explain what you meant.

You could do something smart and technical very spiffy with soap-stacks in the database and/or dbms_ws/dbms_http. But I allways find AQ with AQ-adapter the simplest. Let Pl/sql enqueue a message on an aq-queue and subscribe an aq-adapter process on it. That can call your async-bpel process. If you want to get answer back in pl/sql, let the aq-adapter process enqueue a response message on another queue or on the same queue with another consumer name. Give it a correlation-id that you provided in the payload of your request message. Your pl/sql process can then do a dequeue on that correlation-id. It will sit and wait until a message with that correlation id is enqueued on the queue.

well when you copy an ODS only the structure is copied. to load the data you might need to create transformation and DTp to load data in the new ODS.
You need to load data manually. Copying the ODS will only copy the structure.

When creating a book in iphoto, how can I get all the photos from the album I want to use to show up in the order that they are in the album? When I tried to use the option to add my own photos instead of having the program "flow" them, they showed up all mixed up.

iPhoto puts them in the book in chronological order. So to get your photos from an album into an iPhoto book in the same order you will need to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option and set them all to the same date with a 1 minute time difference between each.
