Xcelsius docs are in swf format. You could probably just host them without security and view with flash.

Doubt:- I have two BRF+ application. for example application1 and application2.
in application1 i have created a function<zfunc1> and attached one descision table to the function<zfunc1>(every thing is done in application1).
i want to call the above function<func1> in application2 .
could anybody help me on this, how to acheive this functionality.

Hi Rakshar,
You can define the access level of the function as Global if you would like to access it from a different application .
By default the access level will be Application.

Well, it depends on some factors, like:
1) Function 'a' itself checks if the answer is correct?
2) Which event calls function 'a'?
... and so on.

How to access the function in loaded application using swfloader?

I have a main flex application which has a view stack, panel
and swfloader in the below hierarchy.
Flex main app --> Canvas1(Viewstack) --> Panel1 -->

I have a function in the loaded application which has to be
called from a function within the main application. I am not sure
of the syntax to access the swfloader content which is placed in a
canvas -> panel.
I tried this example (

it works when the swfloader is placed in the main application
without the viewstack or panel. How can I do this, Is there a way
to access all the running applictaions, regardless of the

You are probably seeing the deferred instantiation behavior
which is the default for ViewStack.
The Swfloader component does not exist until a user navigates
to the View that contains it.
Use events to determine when the swfloader content is ready
for interaction. Here is an example:

I am encoded the url in jsp by using the URLEncoder.encode()
method like <% String msg=URLEncoder.encode("string");How can i decode this one without using URLDecoder.decode().
My Actual Requirement is if i encoded any url which is present in any form like <html:form action="url">.actually this url is mapped in struts-config file. In the address bar how can i get the encoded url.If any body gives the solution highly appriciated.

From the workflow when you create the link, also add the proposal number as an url parameter.
For example if the url for requesting WD application is <WD_URL>, then URL with parameter would be
<WD_URL>?PROPOSAL_NO=<actual_proposal_number>
In the webdynpro, you can access this parameter with the following piece of code(ideally in wdDoInit of component controller).
String proposalNo = WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter().getRequestObject().getParameter("PROPOSAL_NO");

i'm trying to call an oracle query-function from ejb3.
The oracle function:

WDY_CONF_APPLU - (Customizing Data for Web Dynpro Applications).
after you are done with the configuration--
Ge the config id for the given application from this table. And depending on the user get an entry from this table and display accordingly.

Hi,
You can WDHotKey property to define the different keyboard shortcuts to enable the user to trigger events with key combinations.
When the user presses the key board shortcut defined as the hotkey then onAction event is triggered.
The keys F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8 and F9 are not supported, they call predefined functions provided by the Web Dynpro Framework.

I have to add two numbers using RFC in webdynpro abap application. If we give the numbers in the input screen then the RFC should add it and give it in the output screen. This is the application for that I have created the RFC.

If the report is just based out of a table than create a Generic Extractor using View.
If its an InfoSet query than create a Generic Extractor on that InfoSet.
If its an ABAP report than create a Generic Extractor using FM

If you mean where are attachments stored so you can get the contents, see my blog post here:

With regards to getting them into RTF layout, it may depend on what type of attachment they are - short/long text/URLs will be fine, file attachments (LOBs) may depend on the contents - certain types of images will be fine, other file type attachments (like PDF, DOC, etc) I'm not sure - on my list of things to look at.
