How to capture multiple(Random) records of an ALV output report?

Hi  Friends,
  1) I have an output in Grid format(using reuse_alv_grid_displlay). I have 3 push buttons on the menu bar(for ex.. Approve, reject and forward). The user will select multiple lines on the ALV output and hits either one of these push buttons. My question is how do I capture the multiple selected output lines.
2) This question has been asked before..and I tried to implement the answer. The problem I am facing is ..I need a function key to say that everytime I select a line(single click)..it should modify the internal tabel with CHECK = 'X'.
Any help is kindly appreciated.

Hi
If you should have in your output table a field for MARK, the system'll set this field for every selected fields.
DATA: BEGIN OF T_OUTPUT,
       FIELD1,....
       FIELDN,
       MARK,
      END   OF T_OUTPUT
Before calling ALV GRID
You have to indicate tne name of field for selection:
gt_layout-box_fieldname     = 'MARK'.
gt_layout-box_tabname       = 'T_OUTPUT'.
So in your user command
LOOP AT T_OUTPUT WHERE MARK = 'X'.
ENDLOOP.

  • How to capture multiple change in webDynPro(ABAP) Table

    Hi ,
    I would like to know 'How to Capture Multiple Change' of a node . For example , a table is bound to a node and I select Multiple entries in the table . Then, how to capture Multiple entries of the table  . Is there any method ?
    There is a method 'GET_CONTEXT_CHANGE_LOG' of 'if_wd_context' which captures single change of the node .

  • How to highlight the repeated records in a BO crystal report?

    Hi ,
    How to highlight the repeated records in a BO crystal report?
    we want to highlight the rows for which account number is same.
    thanks
    sriram

    You don't even need to create a group.  Just sort the records on the fields that define "duplicate".  Then you can just use
    if {field} = PreviousValue({field}) then crYellow else crNoColor
    in the format's Background Color formula.  This will cause the background to be yellow on duplicates.  (If you need to check more than one field in order to determine duplicates, just insert
    and {field2} = PreviousValue({field2}
    and so on for each field that needs to be checked.

  • How to Pass Multiple data records into SDATA for a segment

    Hi Friends,
    I need to Pass data records to Function Module
    MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE for Creating Outbound IDOCs
    I am Collecting all the Data Records and Passing into the Structure EDIDC.
    Here my problem is
    For one Route there are Multiple Customer records.
    so my First Parent Segment is ZROUTE
    i am passing the Datarecord for this Segment.
    and for the Customer Segment , I have 5 Customers,
    so i am passing the 5 Data records to SDATA .
    Loop at gt_route into gw_route.
    Pass the Route data into the Data record SDATA
      gw_idocdata-sdata    = gw_route_header.
      gw_idocdata-segnam = lc_route_header.
      gw_idocdata-hlevel = lc_4.
      APPEND gw_idocdata TO gt_idocdata.
      CLEAR : gw_route_header, gw_idocdata.
    Loop at gt_customer into gw_customer
                                   where anlage  = gw_route-anlage.
    Pass the Customer data into the Data record SDATA
      gw_idocdata-sdata  = gw_customer.
      gw_idocdata-segnam = lc_customer.
      gw_idocdata-hlevel = lc_5.
      APPEND gw_idocdata TO gt_idocdata.
      CLEAR : gw_customer, gw_idocdata.
    ENDLOOP
    ENDLOOP.
    So this customer segment is comming 5 times in my IDOC
    Can any one suggest me whether i am going in correct way or not.
    I am Getting the IDOC status 26.
    Error during syntax check of IDoc (outbound)
    I think it is because the IDOC is not yet SET RELEASE.
    But i am having the Dought in Passing the data to SDATA fied
    of the EDIDC Structure.
    Can any one Suggest me.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ganesh

    Hi,
    First of all EDIDC is the control record, EDID4 is the data record. When collecting customer record into idoc_data you need to insert customer's parent segment number.
    Eg.
    route1, segnum 1.
       child 1, segnum 2 and parent segnum = 1
       child 2, segnum 3 and parent segnum = 1
       child 3, segnum 4 and parent segnum = 1
    route 2, segnum 5
       child 1, segnum 6 and parent segnum = 5
       child 2, segnum 7 and parent segnum = 5
       child 3, segnum 8 and parent segnum = 5
    Cheers.

  • How to Concat multiple columns to single column at the report level

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement in such a way that I have to concat multiple colulmns to single column at the report level.
    First of all the column I am using in my report is "X" with datatype as Integer. Now  if the length of this column "X" is <8 then I have add zero's (0) before the number.
    And then I have to concat with a column "Y" and then cocnat with a column "Z" and finally the datatype should be casted to CHAR.
    Can anyone please let me know the logic how I can add to my column so that it satisfies all the above.
    Thanks All

    >Also, Another thing is if X < length of 8 Ihave to append with zero's..
    >Ex: if the actual value of X is 123456 i wanted to show it as 000123456.
    Try to be consistence what you said, you are looking for 8 length and above ex is 9 in length.
    You need to learn many things one of those is CASE, at least do copy and also read

  • How to get rid of the loop in ALV output from At selection screen event?

    I have several push buttons on a selection screen.
    Clikc on a button, then it pops up an editable ALV report. (This gets triggered AT SELECTION SCREEN event.). REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC..
    On the ALV output, I enabled F4 for a couple of fields. Once I click on the F4 button, ONF4 method gets triggerd and a pop up appears with custom search helps.
    choose a line and it fills the cell.
    Upto this it works fine.
    Now I click on the BACK button at the ALV output, it takes me to the selection screen. I click on the button again, it show the editable ALV. Now when I click on the F4 button, the pop up comes up twice and the cell gets filled from the second pop - up.
    How to control this?
    Probably I am not refreshing something?
    (I am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC and tooks ome code for ONF4 event from BCALV_*DATATYPES (forgot the exact name) program.)

    This information initial value is (maybe) stored in Windows Register (register.exe) at Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\Filetransfer -> PathDownload, you can read it thru class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES method GET_UPLOAD_DOWNLOAD_PATH and update it thru method REGISTRY_SET_VALUE. (Else there may be some parameter ID to force data, but I'm no longer sure)

  • How to Capture Multiple Cost centres and Business Unit information in a project?

    Dear Experts,
    With the help of UDA functionality in project super responsibility, I have captured Cost centre and Business unit information and this info will be used/reflected in CC and BU segments of all transactions gets recorded against that project.
    Now, our user wish to have multiple cost centres and business units to be tracked in the same one project. How is this feasible? Below example describes my requirement in a summary, please advise.
    An Indirect project is created when a defect on a machine reported from client's customer and all subsequent activities (purchases, travel to customer site to analyse and troubleshoot, purchases for any in-house analysis etc..involves costs spending internally) in resolving that defect/project involves 6 to 7 different departments (Sales, Tech Support, Quality team etc.,who actually work/travel and spend costs against project until defect resolution). And, each of the above departments will have 1 dedicated owner (project owners) to manage that project and each of these 6 or 7 owners owners will have their own cost centres (eg: 2345 - Sales team) against which they wish to see their transactions (travel, purchases during defect resolution) globally.
    So, all I want to know is how can I make one single project to accommodate multiple cost centresand business unit information to be assigned using UDA? Please let me know if I am not clear.
    Regards
    Venkat

    I think you should use the expenditure organization on the transaction itself to derive the CC/BU. Have AA lookups and define AA rules where you look at a Exp Org to BU or Cost Center to derive accounting.

  • Insert into two tables, how to insert multiple slave records

    Hi, I have a problem with insert into two tables wizard.
    The wizard works fine and I can add my records, but I need to enter multiple slave table records.

    `value` DOUBLE(15,3) NOT NULL,
    `nanometer` INTEGER(11) NOT NULL,

    I need to add multiple fields "value" and "nanometer"
    Current form looks like this:
    Make:
    Model:
    Gsm:
    Value:
    nanometer:
    I need it to look like this:
    Make:

    The field "id_paper" in table paper_data needs to get same id for entire transaction. Also how do I set default values for each field "nanometer" on my form the must be different (370,380,390 etc)?

  • How to select 10 random records?

    Requirement is:
    Show all records if query returns less than equal to 10 records.
    Else
    Show random 10 records.
    How do I achieve that using SQL alone?
    Tried with sample but that didn't work. The number of records in table continuously growing.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Once user selects multiple rows and press another button for further execution, you can modify your internal table with marked rows using selection column.
    You need to add user command code in your ALV grid call. Please refer below code.
    CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
          EXPORTING
            I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM       = SY-REPID
            I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET = 'F_GUI_STATUS'
            I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND  = 'F_USERCOMMAND'
            I_GRID_TITLE             = TEXT-026
            IS_LAYOUT                = WA_LAYOUT
            IT_FIELDCAT              = I_FIELDCAT
          TABLES
            T_OUTTAB                 = I_OUTTAB
          EXCEPTIONS
            PROGRAM_ERROR            = 1
            OTHERS                   = 2.
        IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
          MESSAGE S475 DISPLAY LIKE 'E'.
          LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING.
        ENDIF.
    *- User command for details display.
        PERFORM F_USERCOMMAND USING I_UCOMM
                                    I_SELFIELD.
    FORM F_USERCOMMAND USING FP_R_UCOMM LIKE SY-UCOMM
                             FP_SELFIELD TYPE SLIS_SELFIELD.
    IF L_V_REF_GRID IS INITIAL.
        CALL FUNCTION 'GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR'
          IMPORTING
            E_GRID = L_V_REF_GRID.
      ENDIF.
      IF NOT L_V_REF_GRID IS INITIAL.
        CALL METHOD L_V_REF_GRID->CHECK_CHANGED_DATA.
      ENDIF.
    ENDFORM.
    You can then read your final internal table as below and take the selected records in another internal table.
    LOOP AT I_OUTTAB ASSIGNING <FS_OUTTAB> WHERE SEL EQ 'X'.
            APPEND <FS_OUTTAB> TO I_CHECK.
          ENDLOOP.

  • How to import multiple xml records into PDF form

    Our organization needs to print and distribute serveral hundred PDF forms to our members.  We want to populate the names and some other basic info at the top of each form so the member can fill in the rest and sign and return it.  I have the one page form set up with the fields and it's connected to an xml schema data source.  When I import the xml file it reads the first record and that's it - how do I get it to read all of the xml records into a copy of the form for each record in the xml data source file so we can print and discribute the forms?  We are using Acrobat 9 Pro on a Windows 7 32 bit machine.
    Thanks

    Is this a form created with Acrobat or LiveCycle?
    Acrobat would need uniquely named fields for each individual's page or pages if they are all in one file.
    If you are processing one PDF file per individual, I would look at splitting the XML or FDF file into a record for each individual and them populating each individual's PDF form.
    You could even use a tab delimited file and a template to populate the  PDF template and then spawn a new page from the template.
    With LiveCycle I would look at using a database for the variable data.
