How to capture selected row value inside of c:foreach
Hi ,
I have a for each loop as follows : I want to do Edit, Delete Copy functions on indivisually displayed rows.
=======================================================
<c:forEach items="${position.positionAuthorizations}" var="app" varStatus="appStatus">
<%-- Alternate style classes for rows --%>
<c:if test="${appStatus.count % 2 == 0}">
<tr class="HeaderRowSub">

</tr>
</c:if>
<c:if test="${appStatus.count % 2 != 0}">
<tr class="HeaderRowSubTwo">
<TD colspan="4"><SCRIPT language="JavaScript">RowTwistie(1,"<c:out value="${app.id}" />","<c:out value="${app.id}" /> - <c:out value="${app.name}" />","CLASS: HeaderRowSubTwo");</SCRIPT></TD>
</tr>
</c:if>
<c:forEach items="${app.roles}" var="role" varStatus="roleStatus">

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">RowTwistieInclude("<c:out value="${app.id}" />","CLASS: RowOne");</SCRIPT>
</c:if>
<c:if test="${roleStatus.count % 2 == 0}">
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">RowTwistieInclude("<c:out value="${app.id}" />","CLASS: RowTwo");</SCRIPT>
</c:if>
<%-- checkbox table cell --%>
<TD align="right"><%-- <INPUT type="checkbox" name="<c:out value="${role.id}" />Checkbox" value="<c:out value="${role.name}" />" style="height: 12px;"> --%></TD>
<%-- role name table cell --%>
<TD><c:out value="${role.id}" /></TD>
<%-- Delete/Edit button cell --%>
<td>
Edit
Copy
Delete
Delegate </td>
</c:forEach>
====================================================
you can:
1. write a javascript to check which checkboxes are checked
2. place a listener on the checkbox, onchecked, when it's checked it'll run a javascript which will add the row index in a List, and vice versa when it's being unchecked the javascript will remove the row index from the list

How to capture the row value in Advanced Table on OAF ?
Hi:
I was wondering, if anyone has any idea as to how to capture a row value on an advanced table on a OAF Page.
I am currently trying to capture the Expense Report Number ( first column) on the Track Expenses Reports table on the page /oracle/apps/ap/oie/webui/HomePG.
Any idea would be helpful ?
Thank YouHi,

This is what I am looking for :
Default Functionality
On the expenses home page there is a table for the Submitted expenses Table ( advanced table) with multiple Expense Number rows , which has a link associated with every expense number. When the user clicks the expense number link , EBS takes you to a more detail information page. ---As per default functionality :::whene ever user clicks on link it will takes u to details info page based expense no right.
---Check the property of the Destination URL of the ExpensionNumber column.
---In this property u can find the page path and paramam ex:pexpencenumber.
Customized functionality
I would like to capture the Expense number on the detailed page to call another application based on the expense number. The expense number on the
detailed page is not available on the request-parameter or on the VO.
I was thinking of capturing the ExpenseNumber when the user clicks it and save the expense number on a >transientvalue to retrieve it on the detaile dpage..but unable to do so.---Here get the paramereter pexpencenumber and pass it to another appilcation.

How to capture selection-screen values
Hi,
How to capture selection-screen values when user pressing F3 or Back button after the display of report.
Regards,
Bujji.Hi Bujji,
select-option are actually ranges or more general internal tables with the structure:
SIGN: 'I'nclusive or 'E'xclusive
OPTION: 'EQ', 'BT', 'NE', 'GE', 'CP', ....
LOW: low value of type of the curresponding "FOR table-field"
HIGH: high value of type of the curresponding "FOR table-field"
You may just code:
TABLES: mara.
SELECT-OPTIONS s_matnr FOR mara-matnr.
LOOP AT s_matnr.
WRITE: / s_matnr-sign,
s_matnr-option,
s_matnr-low,
s_matnr-high.
ENDLOOP.
If you find my answer useful, please don't forget the reward.

How to get selected row keys from RichSelectManyCheckbox
Adf Table has getSelectedRowKeys but SelectManyChekcbox does not has anything similar. Can you tell me how to get selected row keys programmatically for RichSelectManyCheckbox?
Hi User,
selectManyCheckbox component's value property holds the selected items values. Bind this property to some bean variable(of type list) so that you can get the selected values by accessing the bean property.

How to display first row value returened from a query as checked as default in a report
How to display first row value returned from a query as checked as default in a report
Example
Parameter 1
Paramerter2
ABD
x(checked)
Test
DEF
JMG
MudassarHi Mudassar,
The issue is caused by the order in which the parameters appear in the report data tab can be difference between our report execution and it failing. In other words, “Parameter2” is execution before parameter “A” due to this issue. We can adjust the parameter’s
order to solve the issue.
If “Parameter2” is parameter “A”, we cannot use that expression. Because fields cannot be used in report parameter expression, if we want to display the first value returned from a query as default value, we have to fill the “Specify values” text box with
the specific value in Default Values dialog box.

WAD template with BSP Application - how to read selection screen values
Hello,
I've created Web template with Web Application Designer (WAD).
I would like to extend that page with BSP Application...
Purpuse of this application is to read some information from tables
on BW transaction server and display them within Web page.
Question: How to read selection screen values from a Web template ?
Thanks for any help,
Pawel BorowiecHi,
The selection screen parameters will be on an inputField, so try and get the is of the inputfield generated by doing View source...
And once you get the inputfield Id, you can read the value in the InputField(InF) by
using the following code...!
data : if_value type ref to cl_htmlb_inputfield.
data : variable type string.
if_value ?= cl_htmlb_manager=>get_data( request = request
name = 'inputField'
id = 'InF_ID_here'
if if_value->value is not initial.
variable = if_value->value.
endif.
Hope this helps.

How to assign select-option values to internal table
hi all,
how to assign select-option values to internal table
thanks in advance.Hi,
You just need to loop at your select-option field and take the values from low and high fields.
for. e.g
loop at s_werks .
move:s_werks-low to <your itab>
if not s_werks-high is initial .
move: s_werks-high to <youritab>
endif .
append <your itab>
endloop .
OR use select statement.

How to edit selected rows in a datagrid?
Hi all,
I am new to flex and I would like to know how to edit
selected rows( through check boxes) in a data grid. As of now the
whole data grid becomes editable.

You will need to use a custom itemRenderer.
Search the net, perhaps someone has a component or sample
close to what you want.

How to capture a charateristics value from a selected row in IP
The requirements is to select a line in the summery layout and go to detail layout for further
planning.
In BPS, it's very easy to achieve this, since we can use the variables in the WIB to capture the value of selected line, In IP's query, after click a row, the selected row is highlight, but I am not sure how can we pass the characteristics value of the selected row into a variable. I did the following test by defining a variable for a account number characteristics in the row of a query, and define a dropdown filter with that account variable, after the query is launched in IP, when I click a row in the query, the account number dropdown filter value did not display the corresponding account number I choose. Anybody know how to achieve this?
Thanks in advanceSay your analysis item has 0material as one of the characteristics and say you can bind the material value on the selected line item to variable 'ZMAT' when the user clicks on a button. In the data binding section of the comand you want to perform when button is clicked you will make the fillowing settings:
Variable - ZMAT
Variable Type - 'SELECTION_BINDING
Please give this a try.
