How to cast Opaque input to XML?

I need to read an AQ Queue with several different schema type messages in it. I want to build a BPEL process to read each message as Opaque, interogate the type of message, cast the message to XML, then send the XML to the appropriate BPEL process.
Now, I've gotten past he first hurdle, which is that the input data is Base64 Encoded by the AQ Adapter. I'm decoding it via some embedded java.
The second hurdle is that now matter what I try, when I set a BPEL variable to the decoded string, which is XML, the BPEL process manager treats it as character data. I need it to be XML so this it will match the schema of the process to which it is being sent. Help!!

Hi,
We are attempting to do something similar. I would be interested to know what your final solution to this problem was.
Thanks
Toby

  • How-to use Excel for the XML file input?

    Hello all,
    Following our discussion with Gerhard Steinhuber on the very nice tutorial from Horst Schaude , "How to upload mass data via XML File Input" , I am starting this new discussion.
    In the comments section of this previous cited tutorial, Rufat Gadirov explains how to use a generated XML from Eclipse instead of your XSD file as your source in Excel.
    However, in spite of all the instructions, I am still facing the same issue in Excel when I try to save my file as XML : "The XML maps in this workbook are not exportable".
    What I try to do is to create one or more Sales Orders with multiple Items in it from a XML File Input, using excel to enter data.
    The part with the File input is working (if I directly upload my file to the webDAV, it creates a sales order instance with multiple items).
    The only missing part is the Excel data input that I cannot make work. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Here is my XML file that I try to use as a source in Excel before inputing data from Excel:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    Hello Jacques-Antoine,
    I suppose that as you have tried to construct a map from the schema, you have taken the elements from the List level down. In this case I also can't export the map.
    But if you take the elements from the level MySalesOrderUploaded down, you'll get the exportable map (screenshots)

  • How to generate MT100 file in XML ?

    How to generate MT100 file in XML ?
    Dear All,
    Base:      We are working on ECC 6.0 version and developing B2B with bank.
    Requirement:     For B2B bank requires payment orders in MT100 format wrapped in XML.
    At Present:     I am using PMW format MT100(standard) in payment method. With the use of this format system is generating MT100 text file.
    In this standard PMW format MT100, check box for u201Dmapping using DME engineu201D is not selected.
    My Try:      I  change in format output from file to XML in Payment Media Format (T. Code OBPM1), but it doesnu2019t work.
    In data medium display (T. Code FDTA) system is showing the following error.
    The XML page cannot be displayed
    Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
    XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Users/888881/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Wind...
    In view source system is showing only this,
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    My Question:      How to generate MT100 file in XML ?
    Should I have to create DME Format Tree in ( T. Code DMEE )  and  create new Payment Media Format (T. Code OBPM1), with the mapping using DME engine ?
    Please give your valuable suggesions,
    Thank you,
    Rony

    Hi Prabhu,
    The program SAPFPAYM generates the payment Medium  on the basis of your configuration and background settings, this program does not bydefault give the output in the XML.
    Varient creation for the PMW in T. Code OBPM4, use the same program, which i already done it, even without this it is not be possible to create any payment Medium.

  • Consuming Web Service ( How to pass multiple inputs and retrieve dataset)

    I am new to ADF and Web service.
    In the current project, I have to consume a web service ( through WSDL).
    Created the pages as per the following tutorials.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18941_01/tutorials/jdtut_11r2_14/jdtut_11r2_14.html
    As per the steps 11, 12 mentioned in the document, I have mutiple fields so I added these code.
    Though in the tutorial, it has zip code as the input parameter, but I have three input parameters such as classCode, annualPayroll & fullTimeEmployees.
    How to include there input parameters which should be passed to the results page once the command button "Calculate" as mentioned below is pressed.
    <p xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <af:commandButton
    text="Calculate" disabled="#{!bindings.calculateBasePremium.enabled}"
    id="cb2" action="show"/>
    <af:setPropertyListener from="#{bindings.classCode.inputValue}"
    to="#{pageFlowScope.classCode}"
    type="action"/>
    <af:setPropertyListener from="#{bindings.annualPayroll.inputValue}"
    to="#{pageFlowScope.annualPayroll}"
    type="action"/>
    <af:setPropertyListener from="#{bindings.fullTimeEmployees.inputValue}"
    to="#{pageFlowScope.fullTimeEmployees}"
    type="action"/>
    </p>
    But JDeveloper is throwing error.
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Bibs

    Questions is how do you pass the variables from the page to the next page.
    I have added code so that when the button command is presses, based on the action event, it will be passed to the next page.
    When I was adding the Listener event for the items for page flow, it was not accepting action and was throwing error.
    Here is the error message:

  • How to call JSP that outputs XML without HTTP request

    It should be a simple solution but I can't seem to find a concise recommendation anywhere. We are building a B2B subsytem for our app and we need to send XML to our vendor. I'm evaluating the possibility of using JSPs for that and everything looks good until the time you actually want to invoke it. It's obvious how to code the JSP itself, but I'm looking for an efficient way to call it to generate XML. We do not have an HTTP request or a servlet, the communication is on the EJB level. So I can't get a RequestDispatcher for example, and we dont have HttpServletRequest/HttpServletResponse either. It is NOT a servlet or JSP calling another JSP, it's a regular Java class or EJB.
    Ideally, I would rather bypass the whole HTTP infrastructure and just use JSP as a formatter. So it boils to a question of how to invoke it and how to pass the parameters without HTTP session or request. One of the alternatives we are reviewing is using XSP but we would prefer JSPs if we can figure out how to call it efficiently. HttpUrlConnection is not a good option, we'd like a direct call.
    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the response. Let me clarify the requirements for the question. The way we are supposed to send XML to the vendor is via CORBA (don't ask me why:-) where the only parameter essentially is a string containing the XML document. So the quesiton is not how to send it to the vendor, but how to format our JavaBeans into XML.
    We can't use JAXB because it doesn't support schema. We tried a few libraries out there but they stumble on our schema and we can't change it because it comes from the vendor. So it sounds like our only choice for today is to generate XML ourselves.
    The data is stored in JavaBean packet objects and that's our input. Our output should be a string with XML document conforming to the schema. Posting a request to ourselves will of course work, but that's too much unnecessary overhead. Another option is implementing HttpServletRequest and HttpServletResponse and calling service method directly. Better suggestions?

    Hi, anyone have an example code of sending a file to servlet and receiving the file in servlet?
    I have a JUNIT TEST wit the following code:
    ==========================================
                   HttpURLConnection connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
                   connection.setDoOutput(true);
                   connection.setDoInput(true);
                   connection.setAllowUserInteraction(false);
                   connection.setRequestMethod("POST");
                   out = new DataOutputStream(connection.getOutputStream());
                   BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(
                             "/Performance.zip"));
                   String line = null;
                   while ((line = reader.readLine()) != null) {
                        out.write((line + "\n").getBytes());
                   out.close();
                   // Read Response
                   InputStream in = connection.getInputStream();
                   int x;
                   while ((x = in.read()) != -1) {
                        System.out.write(x);
                   in.close();
                   BufferedReader r = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in));
                   StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer();
                   while ((line = r.readLine()) != null) {
                        buf.append(line);
    =================================================
    and my SERVLET code is like following:
                   ServletInputStream in = request.getInputStream();
                   parameters = request.getParameterMap();
                   path += "file_" + request.getSession().getId() + ".zip";
                   // write the input stream to file
                   OutputStream fileOut = new FileOutputStream(path);
                   CRC32 crc = new CRC32();
                   long size = 0;
                   int read;
                   byte[] buf = new byte[8 * 1024];
                   while ((read = in.read(buf)) != -1) {
                        fileOut.write(buf, 0, read);
                        size += read;
                        crc.update(buf);
    Still when reading the InputStream, nothing is received in the servlet.
    Any idea how to fix it?
    thanks,
    Jari

  • Startrfc - how to call with "input table"?

    I have not been able to get sapnwrfc for Perl to compile correctly on my AIX systems so i want to try something different.
    I started to investigate using startrfc to get my data but am running in to a problem.
    Problem Summary:  I want to get information via RFC_READ_TABLE using startrfc.  I can successfully call function modules but cannot figure out how to send in a "WHERE" clause using startrfc.  Does anyone know how to send "input tables" to startrfc so that I can limit my results?
    Background:  I want to dump a list of the dialog UIDs in a SID/client.  When I do RFC_READ_TABLE via SE37, it asks for an "OPTIONS" input table that you use to put the "WHERE" clause.  I fill in the information in the "TEXT" field and all is well.
    I can call startrfc with the -T option and capture the output to a file, but I cannot figure out how to use an input file to provide the OPTIONS table.  -E doesn't work.
    Here is what I call:
    /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS60/exe/startrfc -t -3 -h <hostname> -s 60 -c 000 -l E -u <my id> -p <my password> -F RFC_READ_TABLE -E QUERY_TABLE=USR02 -E "DELIMITER=|" -T DATA,1000,w=output.txt -T OPTIONS,100,r=input.txt
    My input file (input.txt) looks like:
    TEXT="BNAME = 'someuid'"
    Here is the error message I get when I run this.
    RFC Call/Exception: SYSTEM_FAILURE
    Group       Error group 104
    Key         RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    Message     A dynamically specified column name is unknown.
    Note that I know that there are other functions to check for existence.  I am attempting to get a dump of all dialog users with some information from USR02 not normally provided by the builtin function modules (ERDAT).  This is just the first step to getting there.  Once I have this figured out, I'll send in a "*" to match all.  Also, I am able to do this sort of successfully via Perl's sapnwrfc but am unable to get it compile on AIX and that is where I need to run this.
    Can anyone help?

    It's fairly obtuse as well, but I can see that I'm sending something.  I just don't know what it should look like so that SAP likes it.  Here's the relevant send section:
    000240 | 04000000 01033003 02000800 0001F400 |......0.......ô.|
    000250 | 00000003 02030100 074F5054 494F4E53 |.........OPTIONS|
    000260 | 03010330 00040000 00020330 03020008 |...0.......0....|
    000270 | 00000032 00000001 03020303 00325445 |...2.........2TE|
    000280 | 5854203D 2022424E 414D4520 20202020  |XT = "BNAME = 'S|
    000290 | 20202020 20202020 20202020 20202020 |SOMEUID'"        |
    0002a0 | 20202020 20202020 20202020 20202020 |                |
    Please note that I've obfuscated "SOMEUID" and the corresponding HEX dump.

  • How to get string value from xml in JSF??

    In JSF How to get string value from xml, .ini and properties file. I want to get string value from xml or text to JSF

    Just use the appropriate API's for that. There are enough API's out which can read/parse/write XML, ini and properties files. E.g. JAXP or DOM4J for xml files, INI4J for ini files and Sun's own java.util.Properties for propertiesfiles.
    JSF supports properties files as message bundle and resource bundle so that you can use them for error messages and/or localization.

  • How do I pass input values from a html page to a jsf page

    hi,
    In my project,for front view we have used html pages.how can I get input values from that html page into my jsf page.for back end purpose we have used EJB3.0
    how can I write jsf managed bean for accessing these entities.we have used session facade design pattern and the IDE is netbeans5.5.
    pls,help me,very urgent
    thanx in advance

    Simplest way is to rewrite html page into jsf page.
    You can use session bean in your managed bean like this:
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    public class ManagedBean {
    private Context  ctx;
    private Object res;
    // session bean interface
    private Service service;
              public ManagedBean() {
                try{
                     ctx = new InitialContext();
                     res = ctx.lookup("Service");
                     service = (Service) res;
