How to catch user break from OI ?

I'm using slightly modified standard CVI OI shipped with TS.
I have a sequence in TS which counts time how long time it takes for a DUT to clarify the test. If the DUT doesn't clarify the test at all, the sequence timeouts and indicates test time failed.
Sometimes it happens that operator wants to break the test by clicking the break button on OI, do some things with DUT and continue testing. In my current implementation time which operator do things is counted, so normally when operator continues testing timeout condition is met and sequence indicates test time is failed.
I would like to improve the sequence by catching the operator break OI button click, save the time stamp, catch the operator resume OI button click and substract time it took for operator in order to get real time it took for DUT to clarify the test.
Any hint ?

Hi Petri,
The method i suggested would allow you to implement this in the user interface, not the sequence itself; sorry for the confusion on that. Unfortunately there isn't a good way to do this in the sequence itself because the sequence will not be executing at a breakpoint, so no callback sequences will run until you resume the execution.
I think the best approach here would be to use the method I described previously to implement a counter variable in the UI which tracks how much time an execution has been suspended, then query this value at the end of your sequence using a custom UI message (as in this example; unfortunately no CVI equivalent example exists). Refer to this article for information on creating a UI message callback in your user interface.

I hope u had gone to the screen fields which u want them not to be editable. So there u select all the fields contents which u do not want to to be changed and check the boxes with W.content and Display and save it. Once evrything is done u have to activate the particular transcation going in to the standard variants and put the name and click the activate button.

-NealYou can't do this with the default simple authentication. That can only handle a
username / password combination.
You should be able to do this with JAAS. You could write a LoginModule that
populates the department as a Principal or public Credential on the Subject in
addition to the normal authentication. You would have to do a callback handler
that passed through the department info to it.

Once you have associated the Subject with the access control context by invoking
a doAs() you should be able to get it back at any point with
Subject.getSubject(AccessController.getContext()) to get access to the
department info.

Previously 401 client is there but at present it is not there .How can you justify it that it is 401 client.
As 401 client data is moved to someother client is it the problem why i am not able to find query??

How to read User ID from the request Form and pre populating in the AD User process form before provisioning

I am trying to read the user Id from the submitted AD User request form( Catalogue AD User form. I need User Id,firstname and lastname inorder to prepopulate the common name as in this format - lastname,firstname (userid) for the user to be provisioned in Active Directory.
So after filling the AD User request form with User Id and Organization and submitting the request, I am trying to
prepopulate the common name in the process form before the provisioning.
The prepopulate adopter for the common name is configured to read the firstname, lastname and userid. firstname and
lastname variables are mapped to User definition and user Id is mapped to Process Data. In this setup I am not getting the
User Id value from process data, it is empty.
Is this a bug with OIM 11g R2 or I need to do it differently in order to read the user Id that user has entered in the
request form for populating the common name?

How to retrieve user name from a given Subject?

I am in a situation where I need to retrieve user name from the Subject that is populated when user logs in. I have the active Subject and I do following to get the principals in the subject and iterate through them:

But this contains all the principals, including user name, roles, password, etc. How do I programmatically determine which one is user name?

Don't you have different principal types? I am making a jaas module and I have different principals for roles, groups etc. I think of principals as attributes, the type in the attribute name and the principal name is the attribute value.
To get all the principals of the type SomePrincipal, you can use:
Set principals = subject.getPrincipals(SomePrincipal.class)
You can also take som principal an test wether it is an instance of som type:
if (Principal p instanceof SomePrincipal){..}
An other solution which might be better if you have many different attributes is to store both attribute name and value in the name of the principal.
If "mark" is a username the principal name will be "username:mark" el.
Then it will be easy to find the username.

Whenenever you write dynamic SQL, put the SQL text into a variable. During development, display the variable instead of executing it. If it looks okay, then you can try executing it in addition to displaying it. When you're finished testing, then you can comment out or delete the display.

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.This makes it easy to see that you're missing a space after the keyword DATAFILE. There are other errrors, too. For example, the path name has to be inside the quotes with the file name, without a line-feed between them, and the quotes should be single-quotes, not double-quotes.
Is there some reason why you're using PL/SQL? In SQL, you can just say:

Given that you want to use PL/SQL, you could assign the value above to sql_txt. If you need a separate PL/SQL variable for flocation, then you can assign it without using dual, for example:
DECLARE
    flocation     VARCHAR2 (300)     := '&Enter_The_Path';The dual table isn't needed very much in PL/SQL.

I´m unable to login with user SAP* into client 000 but in other clients.
How can I delete the user SAP* from client 000 that I can login with the standard password?
Is it possible within a transaction in another client or only on DB?

You need to connect to MaxDB SQL studio using user SuperDBA,admin
Run the following commands
select bname from <SAPSCHEMA>.USER02 where bname='SAP' and MANDT='000;*
This will list user SAP* from client 000
delete from <SAPSCHEMA>.USR02 where bname='SAP' and MANDT='000';*
This will delete SAP* from client 000.

You'll need to copy your /Home/Library folder. Make sure you back up first before doing the following. Log out of both your Work and Play accounts. Log in to a third account with administrator privileges. Assuming you are copying from the account called "work" to the account called "play", enter the following in Terminal:
sudo rm -rf ~play/Library (this deletes Play's Library folder.)
sudo cp -R ~work/Library ~play/Library (this copies Work's Library folder to Play's folder.)
sudo chown -R play ~play/Library (this fixes permissions of Play's new Library folder.)

I need to remove paragraph breaks from selection of cells in my table and replace them with a space and a dot.
Tried this and it did not work:

I also tried to use find and replace, but it didn't work either.

Did you read the error message returned by the app ?
I also tried to use find and replace, but it didn't work either.
I'm sure that you didn't inserted the correct value in the "Find/Search" field but I can't guess what was the one which you inserted ? .
I selected the character to replace, Copy it then pasted it in the Find/Search field.

You can migrate the user preferences using the Import Wizard.
There was an issue (ADAPT01447740) in XI3.1 covered by the following note:
1519979 - Infoview Preferences are not imported properly
So I would ensure that your 3.1 SP3 destination system is patched upto the version which includes that fix i.e. at least FP3.2.
