how to change AR aging 4-bucket report to 7-bucket in oracle apps r12 . in AR module 7 bucket report also exist but it include all collection (applied & unapplied) my requirement is that aging create on applied collection just like 4 bucket. thanks

the planning book transport as mentioned by Ian will get your time bucket profiles to production
....along with macros
Producton systems are usually closed to make planning book changes (the system would be locked - its not an authorization issue)
its better to transport the planning book with the correct time bucket profile
P,S: there is a quick and dirty way to make the change you want though without going though the transport... but if you can transport... do that

    Simple question, if I want to change the number format on web report as following
. . . . . . . . Actual
. . . . . . . . *1000SGD
new order   .   341.5
sales       .   567.45
if I click "Actual" then select properties, set data format from "in 1000" & "0" to "in 1" & "0.00", nothing changed in web report after refresh.
if i click one number (for example: 341.5) or "New order" to set data format from "in 1000" & "0" to "in 1" & "0.00", only this row's format is changed, others row still keep old format.
how to change whole column's data format at once setting?

Hi,
Logout and login may help you and also Delete the session in SM04 before re login. Some times system will not do complete refresh of data even though you select refresh button.

I don't think its possible for downloading from interactive report but let's see if anyone else has got a work around.
The other way to have absolute control over report layout is to create reports using 'Report Query' & 'Report Layout' under 'Shared Components'.

How to change the title of the browser when I run my report on the web? Iam using Internet explorer and Reports 6i. Is it possible in 6i or 10g reports?
Could you please tell me the step by step procedure ?
Right now the browser is displaying the URL when I run the report with format = PDF.

It works for me. I don't see why you have a problem with >this code.
Can you look at the source code of the html >file that was created (so, not in the browser, but in a >text editor). What do the header and title look like?The Html code in the file is same as the above code I specified. Actually I copied the same code and pasted here. But when I run the html file the Title shows up.
Don't put </html> there. Maybe that helps. I tried this, but it did not work.
Please let me know is there any way to set it dynamically inside the triggers using SRW built_in.

How to change the database in Crystal reports

To give an overview there is one project going on where the oracle database is getting migrated from 10g to 11g.
All the details of database like IP, port etc are changing as part of this.
I can see the driver name configured as crdb_ado (Custom driver).
We have an test environment for 11g against which we have to point all the reports and test it.
Could you please let me know the below queries
Where and how to change the IP details in the crystal reports to point to new test and prod databases.
Overview on this crdb_ado driver
Basically the database is getting changed and we want the reports to point and run from the new database.

Thanks for your reply.
We need to change the database from the reports which are already running from central management console.
I can see a custom driver crdb_ado is being used and it connects to a database.
Could you please let me know where the database configuration is done.
Ideally we need to add one more database to a config file which i am not able to find.
I guess it should be similar to tnsnames.ora file in oracle where the different databases are stored.
From the above image I would like to know where the server details (NECTAR_Prod) would be configured.

How to change the pagesize of a report?

Hi,
I'm confused by a 100%-standardproblem but didn't figure it out yet :-(
I want to decrease the pagesize of a report (output into pdf), so the "white area" in acrobat reader should be smaller then a4 (standard).
My "solution": I moved and resized the border of the mainsection - now the content is at it's right place, but the whole page (white area) is still to large.
Even if I create new (=empty) report, I don't know where to change the size of the report.
I'm using Report Builder 9.0.4.0.21.
Can somebody please help me with this? Thank's a lot. :-)

You should be able to do that by so:
Go into the object navigator. Click on Paper Layout, and click on the Main Section label (not the plus sign). Hit F4 for properties - height and width are there. I think if you just changed those to what A4 is designated as, it should work.
Note if you use a header/footer page, you would need to do the same to those pages as well.

How to change font size in Interactive report

Hi I am using Apex 4.02 version I need to get all reports into single page but it displayed excess the page limit. Example If report having more than 15 columns it should display in single page so I tried "break" option in all report column headers still it exceed the page. Can any one help me for this ..?

Hi,
you can do this in your style sheet.
Look for class .apexir_worksheet_data and change the font-size.

How to change the chart color in report 6i based on its value?

I built a simple chart using Chart Wizard in Report 6i, with X axis = supplier and Y axis = rating. I want the chart to show different color for certain rating, eg: above 80% => red color.

In SP list, you change the background color of field value using Content editor and javascript.
Add the content editor webpart on the list page with javascript which highlight the particualr value based on the condition.

I am woking in Xcelsius Dashboard. I used WebI approach for creating dashboard. I have two customers which one customer has SAP and another customer does not have SAP. so intially I have used Excell as data source. now I want to replace the Excel with BI Queries.Both having same structure.while replacing I faced the following problem.
I created one WebI report based on Excel as data source that has two Queries(Two universes).I want to replace excel based universe with BI query based universe.If I change the universe in an one query ,the univese is changed in an another query also. How can I replace two different universes that based on BI queries with existing universes ?
How can i resolve the problem?

As Thomas mentioned, changing one Data Provider causes the other Data Provider to get changed as well -- this is a problem for trying to change the universe on one tab and the system automatically goes and goofs up the other tab(s) as well. I'm still on XI R2 and the problem happens so maybe someone with XI 3.1 or higher loaded can confirm that this unwanted occurrence has been cleared up or not.

If you are working on 4.6C,
Go to SE03-> Object Directory -> Change Object Directory entries
Execute
Under Selection by objects give Program of report- click the check box which is there before the program name execute...u will get one more screen
then place the cursor on the program name of hierarchy and then click the button 'Object directory' which is there in the application tool bar.
then change the development class.
I hope the above procedure will help you out.

Hi,
IF u want to change the report development class Goto se 38 chnage mode, then <b>Goto > object directory entry</b>.
By this way you can change the development class, for any function module goto se37 and do the same.
