How to change deployment.properties

hi there,
here's the situation :
i am working on an intranet aplication with jws. The company has a proxy. So most of the users can't access internet. The users need to install java 5.0 to run the application. I've managed to automatically install it from a local server (thx to webservices), but now i've got another problem. It seems that sometimes when the jre is installed, the location in the java settings on the control panel is not correct set, sometimes it points to the java.sun.com location and not to the server from which it is downloaded so the jws keeps trying to install a new jre.
I've read about the deployment properties file we have, now my question is, is there a way i can change this from a jnlp file, or after installing the jre (meaning changing the source of the webstartservices) or (easier) just write a script that will adapt the deployment.properties after the installation
Thx
Tom

You are responding to a very old (8 years) thread, be aware that that might not be the best option.
However, you want to decrease the frequency? or increase?

  • How to change shape properties after having created one?

Photoshop CC 2014 -- latest update as of October 06, 2014
    Windows 7
How can I change a shapes properties after having created one.
I have created a simple ellipse.
When I drew the ellipse with the tool, I had the option for the fill color/style and stroke, etc.
After I have created said ellipse, I wish to change its properties.
I can use the Paint Bucket, gradient tool, etc for the fill, but is there way to get back to the original set of tools with which I created the ellipse in the first place?
If I use Edit > Stroke... it adds a new stroke around the existing shape.
If I use Edit > Fill... the entire layer is filled.
There must surely be a way to reenter the tool set to edit an existing shape. No?
    Thanks,

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for the helpful tips, advice, etc.
    I didn't explain myself very well--I apologize.
However, with your tips I figured it out:
When I create a rectangle or ellipse, I can later click on its layer and the Properties window appears with options to change their "Live Shape Properties."
However, not so with the Polygon and Shape tools. With them, the Properties window shows only the Masks, but the Toolbar still shows some basic properties I can change.
I was stymied by the above differences while working only on a Shape.
    I've attached two JPEG screenshots.
I didn't need to change the actual shape, just the fill/stroke, etc.
Later, I may wish to change the actual shape, but that appears to be done by simply creating something new.
    Thanks much!!

  • How to change the properties of individulal elements in an array?

    Hi all,
I have an array (size is 25) of string and I want to disable and grayout half of them. But how do I do it? How do I change the properties of individual elements in an array? I have tried to use some of the examples given in the discussion forums, but it didint work for the task mentioned above. Anybody would be able to help me with a suitable example that can be specifically used for disable or enable the individual array  elements?

The user will see the first half of the string elements filled-in and the lower half grayed-out (to be filled in later).  Make a test VI, play around.
... except that all elements "greyed out" with this method contain the default string for the array element (blank by default, but changeable). There is no way to have meaningful, unique text in the greyed out elements.
I would suggest to use a listbox as control/indicator. Here elements can easily be disabled programmatically.

  • How to change File Properties Creator

I'm using PSE 7.0 Organizer. When I change the date/time of my files, PSE assigns 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0' to the Creator in the File Properties.
How can I change this to a string of my chosing, such as ME. I'm am using right-click file > Adjust Date & Time of Selected Items... to set the date/time on images that I'm scanning from slides. When these images are scanned, there is no Exif data in the scanned file until I do this action. So this is the only way I know to get these to be sorted in the correct Date taken order.
    Thanks,
    John

You can't change the "Creator" tag under "File properties" in PSE7.
Anyhow the "Creator" Tag here represent the Application through which edition has been done on the image, it does not represent the Author.
If you want to add your name as a author to a image, you can do the same by opening the image with Photoshop Elements Editor and follow these steps:
    1. Click on "File" menu and select "File Info".
    2. Now in the "File Info" dialogue box, Select the Tab "IPTC" and enter your name against the Coloumn "Creator" or you can do the same by selecting tab "Description" and entering your name against the Column "Author".
    3. Now Save the file.
Now open the same file in organizer again and look for the metadata properties of the image, Click on Radio button "View: Complete" to view complete metadat of the image. Now You can see your name against the "Author".
Hope It must have resolved your query.

  • How to change style properties of text links

    Hello to everyone.
There is a very irritating thing going on with the style properties of a text link.
I want my text that acts as a link to other pages, to retain the properties of a normal text. iWeb keeps underlining the text and changing the colour of it.
Is it possible to alter that without fiddling with the css file? I can change that if have to but that means that I'll have to manually edit the file in more than 50 pages...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Dimitris

    Dmitris,
There is no way to do this in iWeb directly. As you have already alluded to, the only way to do this would be to edit the CSS files for your pages. You could do this by hand, but judging by your message it doesn't sound like you would have too much fun doing this.
I would suggest that you look into a program like MassReplaceIt...
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/productivity_tools/massreplaceit.html
This is basically a glorified find and replace type of tool. You can tell it to find a whole block of parameters in the CSS file and change it to whatever you like. And the benefit for you is that you can save these actions so that you can redo them whenever you publish the pages. MRI is smart enough to change only what needs changing. And searching out all the CSS files in all subdirectories is a bonus for you, Dmitris. Just point it at your site folder and let the program change all 50 CSS files in one click!
    Good luck!

  • How to change the properties of the local area connection

Try to make change in the properties of the local area connection, i.e.  click Start --> Control panel --> Network Connection --> Local Area Connection --> properties. Then select Internet Protocal(TCP/IP), click on the Properties. Normally, the PC is set at Obtain an IP address automatically. Now need to change to Use the following IP address, then enter the IP address, Default gateway address. after that, click OK.
I am wondering, is Labview could do the setup as described? Once all done, is it possible to change the TCP/IP setting back to "Obtain an IP address automatically"?
    Thanks,
    Test

    Thanks smercurio_fc.
I tried but not working. The way I try to do is connnecting two PCs directly through Ethernet cable. Then change the IP addresses as mentioned, after that ping another PC. If done manully, working.
After run the program you mentioned in your email, I check the "ipconfig /all" in the DOS window, it is still the old IP address. If changed manually, check ipconfig in the DOS window, it is changed.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,

  • Can't find how to change column properties in my CSS document

So, I'm working on a pre-existing website someone set up, and need to make some adjustments to a couple of custom commands they made, RightCol and CenterCol. The problem is, I can't find any code relating to either in the CSS document. Is there something I'm missing here, an easier way to find them? A way to change both remotely without finding the code hidden in the CSS document? or am I just gonna have to make new commands from scratch?

My wife had the same problem. Click on the tools icon in your web browser and go to the "zoom" feature. You can adjust the font size there.

  • How to change default properties when uploading role

    Hi, all.
Our env. is like the following.
       EP 6.0 SP9 patch1
       J2EE SP9
       Windows 2003 MS SQL Server
When we upload a role from R/3 to EP, role is correctly uploaded but the problem is the following default behavior.
    - default property of entryPoint for role is set to "false"
    - default property of GUI type for Transaction iView is dependent on the GUI support of R/3 SE93(Maintain Transaction Codes)
Is there any way to change these default settings to some other values in EP without modification?
What we want to do is that when we upload roles, we want to set the following values by default.
    - entryPoint = "true"
    - GUI type = "SAPGUI for Windows"
One way would be to use Content Administration --> Multiple Property Replacement feature but we want to reduce our operation time more.
    Thanks.

    Hi Sejoon
Even i'm in the same situation, i tried modifying transaction type in the
com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.Transaction which is iview template for all the iviews created on import of roles..but it also dint work.
yeah Multiple replacement is not the best of the option,
let me know if u have figured out something.

  • How to change data source name and context root during deployment

    Hi,
    Env:
    WLS 10.1.3
    JDev 11.1.1.6
    Hudson
I need to deploy two instances of my ADF application on the same development enviroment. We are using Hudson to deploy. My question is how to change data source name and application context root before second deployment.
    Kuba

I don't believe there is an inbuilt facility to do this.
Previously how I've done this is when checking files out using Hudson jovs, before the build I then use an Ant extension called XmlTask (http://www.oopsconsultancy.com/software/xmltask/) to modify the required XML files.
Can I ask why you're doing this in the first place please? Multi-tenancy? 2 versions of the same app?

  • How to change properties of a TableCell over Code ?

    Hy all,
i want to enable a cell of the selected row over code.
How can i do this ?
I dont know, how to get the UI-Element table of my view over code.
I have read the API and have seen all the method to change the properties, but not found the method to get any of my UI-Elements of the actual view.
Is there any method to get or browse all the UI-Elements of the view ?
    Have anyone a code-example to get a UI-Element of a view ?
    Thanks for help.
    by Jürgen

    Hy Valery,
my scenario is to enable a Button or LinkToURL UI-Element in a table cell of the selected row. The data in the table are mapped from a node und the Button/LinkToURL Element was insertet by visual editor with property enable = false.
I have a action onLeadSelection to get the parameters of the selected row to build the right URL.
Do I have access in the action to the wdDoModifyView-Method to change the property ?
How can i change the cell-enable-property of the selected row ?
I can get the table, the array of tablecolumns and an iterator over the table. But i have not found a method
to get the column like table.getColumn(XXX).
I have read the IDWTable API with the following text:
"Table columns are defined by aggregating TableColumn
objects. Each table column has a table cell editor.
Every property of the table cell editor may be bound
       either
to an attribute of the context node X, or
          to a context root attribute.
Now I am a little bit confused. Do I need a value attribute "URL" in my model node?
But this should not solve my problem to enable a Cell of a table, or ?
    Thanks for help.
