How to change query navigational state in broadcast setting

Dear experts,
I have a question information broadcasting in BW 3.5
We have the following usage of broadcast settings
- open query with bex web
- add special filters, drill-downs etc.
- add this as a new broadcast setting with Mail recipients etc. - the format is "html-file"
- schedule the setting
This works fine.
But, if I have to make changes to the navigational state (e.g. set additional filter) of the broadcasted query for the future - how can I do that?
How can I open the "view" behind the setting directly?

I have not found a solution yet but currently I have a workaround:
Before switching to Broadcaster I generate a bex-web-bookmark.
Then i add this bookmark in the text of the broadcasting seeting.

Goto -settings-iCloud-delete account u will then have to set up a new iCloud account.if u do this it will delete anything u may have backed up in iCloud on your old account.

How to change the privacy statement link url

I looked into the previous threads , could not find the answer to "Changing the privacy statement url to clients privacy statement url".
I am talking about the privacy statement URL in the page that user see it as soon as user logs into the e-business suite.
I have read the previous theads and developers guide regading how to show or hide this autofooter thing. but could not find any thing about how to change the one in the login page.I even looked ino personalization but could not find a place to change this url. please HELP.
Another question is " is it ok to show privacy statement in just the first page and hide it in rest of the application pages?"

How to change Query Description/Technical name of a query

Hi I have couple of questions with Query name changing.
1)Is it possible to change the Technical name of a query?
If Yes how?
2)I could change the description of a query but when the same query is saved in a role how to change its description?

hi,
open your query in query designer and use button 'save as' then you can change name description.
Remember that when you change technical name it will be completely new query and you will have to add it to your role.

How to change variable values dynamicly in broadcasting

Dear Friends i am scheduling workbooks using broadcasting feature.
i want to know how can i change the variable values of report in broadcasting dynamically.
becuase i dont want to schedule report again and again after changing the variable values.

i did the same but its not working.
i create one variant for the query ABC using RSRT now if i look into table RSRVARIANT we can see that variant
entry in this table. Now i create variant by bex on this query with the same name.
now i schedule it using broadcasting but its not takeing the values of RSRVARIANT table.
Its taking the value of variant which i save in bex.
By default variant which is save in bex not appear in RSRVARIANT table.
But i f you make a variant in RSRT you can see those entries in Table RSRVARIANT.
But RSRT variant is not showing in Broadcast scheduling. Only Bex variant are showing.
Where should create the variant in Workbook, in Bex web analyzer, or in RSRT.

How to change query w/o transport ?

guys,
i have a query in dev. and prod and its day to day query. so i dont want to make changes in it. as i m not sure whather it will work or not.
so, i want to crete a copy of it, on dev. ONLY. so that i can do some changes and then if it works fine then i can do the same changes in the original query. and transport it to prod.
So, i opend that query and Did SAVE AS, ---> saved with different tech. name. when i did that , it asked me for a packae and i did LOCAL. thats it.
now, when i try to make some changes to this local query , it still ask me to transport it. which i dont want..i Just dont want to make an entry in transport.
how do i do that?

For simple changes you can directly do the changes and lock query in request and release
For complex changes you should not do R&D for original queries , always better to have copy query and make trails till is ok (save dummy req) and then original query
When we are not confident about the changes we should not do directly on original query!
You will face problems when you save the original query under dummy request, in future if you want to make changes again it will save under dummy request , and moreover dummy request we use for many R&D activities .. which makes confusion
But, what if i delete that dummy trasport request from the queue ? can i then do the changes again and can create a new transport request ?
Yes, If you can delete dummy request , then you can do changes and again save in new request

How to change Human Task state from "Completed" back to "Assigned"

I am working with human task through BPEL Worklist API
There is Human Task with state “completed”. We need to change the state back to “Assigned”
In other words or get this task with “Assigned” state or get exactly the same task with the same number (that I can use as int parameter in ITaskQueryService.getTaskDetailsByNumber method invocation) .
Is it possible?
I tried to use ITaskService methods but without results.

Hi ,
This request sits in table RSBKREQUEST with processing type as 2 in data elements USTATE, TSTATE and this 2 is actually "Processed Successfully" status which is obviously wrong.
All we need is, ask your basis person to change the status to 3 in both these data elements.Then you can delete the previous bad request . Once the request is deleted, the request status gets updated as "4" in table RSBKREQUEST.
For manually status change you can use the function module RSBM_GUI_CHANGE_USTATE

I have 2 arrays and a HorizontalList. I want to be able to switch between the arrays using states. The states and horizontal list look like

Try the code below...
Instead of <mx:value>arr1</mx:value> assign the value in the SetProperty tag itself....as shown below

Also you have used the name of the property as dataprovider instead of dataProvider.(P should be uppercase)

How to change Contextual Navigation Panel text color?

I am trying to change the text color of Contextual Navigation panel of Ajax framework page.
Using the Theme Editor -> Outer Frame of Ajax Framework Page-> Detailed Navigation it only allow me to change font(size, family, weight).
Can anyone guide me where I can find and change the text color of Contextual Navigation Panel using Theme Editor.

Modifying css on fs directly is a bad idea, next time you deploy the theme or update the system you will overwrite all modifications again. you can do it first you need to goto smartforms tcode there click on radiobutton 'Style'.
Give any name and click on create. Right sideyou can find character format right click on it and create a node .A pop will raise gve a 2 characterlike z1 or a1 etc click on font tab gve size and font style and click on save and activate. Use this style in your smartform you can apply what ever styles created in styles you can use it in your smartform by that smartstyle name.
When we create text in output options give your smart style name and click on general attributes . Select your text and apply the style what thse size it should be and what the font style it should be.
Goto smartforms tcode and select formpainter in application bar set layout according to your requirement.

How to change the Organizational Dependency of a Set Type

Hi All,
With the creation of a new set type we made the mistake to not select "Distribution-Chain-Dependent" in the "Org. Dependency"-field.
Now we already maintained a few materials (only in development system) with data in the attributes of this set type, but noticed that the data is not Sales org. dependent. Seems logical, because we forgot to set this org dependency in the set type, but now we want to correct this and I hope you could provide us with the best way to do this.
The field it self is no longer editable in change mode (seems logical, since all tables/structures/relations are already created and messing with this dependency could mess things up) but we really need the org dependency for our product attibutes. So, I wanted to create a new set type, and replace the old one with this new one in our category, but I can't even delete the old set type from our category, because I get the message: "Products of this category already exist; Set type cannot be deleted".
What would be the best way to solve this? (is there a way to change the org dependency of the existing set type?/should I create a new set type? If so, how to delete the old set type and it's data?)

How to change Database server is case-insensitive setting at runtime

Is there a way to change any of the properties in Report Options > General Settings at runtime. Mainly the [Database server is case-insensitive] and [Perform grouping on server] settings. We are using the Crystal .Net X1 runtimes (11.5.9707.811). I have sesrched the forums with no luck so thought I'd try my luck here. Thankyou for your time.

Sorry, search for the function using the Object Browser in .NET. If you have Crsytal Reports XI R2 (11.5.x.xxxx) then you have it. Unless it's not a developer version. In whcih case you need to upgrade.
If you do have the Developer version then simply add the RAS assemblies to your project. Look in our samples above for more info on h ow to use RAS.
If you don't have the Developer version then your only options are to upgrade or manually change the report settings in the Designer.

How to change Preview's Full screen default setting from "two-pages" to "continuous scroll"

I am using OS X mavericks on my mid 2013 Air.
I usually need to open multiple PDFs during my work and I prefer to put them all in full screen for easy swapping. I was able to change the setting which allowed me to open PDFs in "continuous scroll". However, the PDFs became two-pages display again when I put them into full screen and I can't find any setting which allow me to change the full screen default display mode. Is there a way to do it or it is simply not possible.? Could Apple just add an option for us to change it? Thanks in advance for any help.

You may also need to reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
*View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
