How to change sy=uname value in selection screen?

Hi,
In selection screen i declared a default file path like this..
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Vendor\'.
when it displays the path in selection screen, I want to replace that user name with SY-UNAME FIELD.
Can any one let me know where i can change this..

If you are trying to set the the folder for the "windows" user, you can try this instead.
I doubt that the SAP user id is always the same as the local user folder on the frontend.

Go to SE36 (logical database Builder).First enter PNPCE in Logical Database and press documentation,here you will get the details of exactly what is PNPCE and how it works.After that select selections in subojects in se36 only and enter display ,there you have the include from where you acn get the idea.

I want to change the desccription to something else as it shows at the top of the selection screen. Can this be done with out copying the program to a new progarm with a new description. in SE38 Enter the program name.
Select the Radio button Attributes.
Change the Title of the Program.
This title will appear in the selection screen as well as the list by default.
We can also set this TITLE dynamically using the command.
SET TITLE-BAR 'T1'. "double click on T1 and create (Activate) it.

Standard Selection Screen
Date selection
Date selection delimits the time period for which data is evaluated. GET PERNR retrieves all records of the relevant infotypes from the database. Person selection
Person selection is the 'true' selection of choosing a group of employees for whom the report is to run.
Sorting Data·
The standard sort sequence lists personnel numbers in ascending order.
· SORT function allows you to sort the report data otherwise. All the sorting fields are from infotype 0001.
Report Class
· You can suppress input fields which are not used on the selection screen by assigning a report class to your program.
· If SAP standard delivered report classes do not satisfy your requirements, you can create your own report class through the IMG.

How to Change a Default Value from 'High' to 'Low' in a Drop Down Box for RANGE field displayed in Standard Web Dynpro Component. I saw a Default Value set for a RANGE field in View Context When I select that field and click on Display. I am seeing Default Value set it to 'HI'. Please let me know how to change from HIgh to Low.

I have a requirement to refresh the value in selection screen.while i run the report in selection screen i selecting one variant for look the output if i use some other field value with same variant without save its working fine i am avle to see the data but while i come back to again selection screen and selecting some other variant that extra add value is not getting refresh its showing with new variant.Its happening for only one variant not for all if i select some other variant then its getting refresh value in same field.Any one can help me for this issue.

Hi,
That means, I believe - the value that is "not changing" is saved in the particular variant. You can easily verify it by starting the report without variant and then selecting the variant in question. Remove the value from screen and save the variant again. Don't forget to check of variant needs to be transported from development system...

We hav implemented OSA Appraisal Model and it's working fine both in R/3 and from EP.In form template We hav set the column 'Value Input' to Required Entry.
In the HAP Document the field values of that column are never null coz the field value is defaulted to the first entry '1'. How to change the defaulted value in the drop dwn boxes.

You please try the following steps:
1. Say the InfoObject is 0EMPLOYEE against which you have created the variable, which user is trying to select value against, when they execute the report.
2. Goto RSA1-> InfoObject tab-> Select InfoObject 0EMPLOYEE.
3. Selcet the following options:
Query Execution Filter Val. Selectn - 'Only Posted Value for Navigation'
Filter Value Repr. At Query Exec. - 'Selector Box Without Values'
Please let me know if there is any more issue. Feel free to raise further concern
