How to change the description of a selection screen

Hi , I created a selection screen with the description as 'Test' , now the program has grown real big . I want to change the desccription to something else as it shows at the top of the selection screen. Can this be done with out copying the program to a new progarm with a new description. I mean , is there a way to change the current description .

Hi
in SE38 Enter the program name.
Select the Radio button Attributes.
Change the Title of the Program.
This title will appear in the selection screen as well as the list by default.
We can also set this TITLE dynamically using the command.
SET TITLE-BAR 'T1'. "double click on T1 and create (Activate) it.

· SORT function allows you to sort the report data otherwise. All the sorting fields are from infotype 0001.
Report Class
· You can suppress input fields which are not used on the selection screen by assigning a report class to your program.
· If SAP standard delivered report classes do not satisfy your requirements, you can create your own report class through the IMG.

SE38 with program : RSMODWRD
Enter your field (data element) + language.
Another way :
TCode : CMOD and in menu bar Goto / Text enhancements / keywords/Change
I think, a direct transaction exists but i don't find.

You please try the following steps:
1. Say the InfoObject is 0EMPLOYEE against which you have created the variable, which user is trying to select value against, when they execute the report.
2. Goto RSA1-> InfoObject tab-> Select InfoObject 0EMPLOYEE.
3. Selcet the following options:
Query Execution Filter Val. Selectn - 'Only Posted Value for Navigation'
Filter Value Repr. At Query Exec. - 'Selector Box Without Values'

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement as below:
1. Excecute the transaction CV04N
2. Give Document value(s) and Excecute
3. Double click on any row on the ALV generated which takes you to CV03N transaction
4. Here in the additional data Tab, I need to concatenate Subject1,Subject3,Subject3 values and this value need to be put Description in the Document data Tab.
Ex:
If Subject1 = Test1, Subject2 = Test2 and Subject3 = Test3 then i have to change the description as Test1
Test2 Test3 When the change followed by save is clicked.
Please drop your suitable answers ASAP.

How to make the obligate field in selection screen

Hi ,
In my report two radio buttons and two bloc selection screens are there.When we select the first radio button first screen will be editable second screen will be non-editable vice-versa.
but the problem is in each selection screen one mandatory field is required suppose if i give the one field obligatory in first block screen it is not allowing the second readout please help me regarding this how i will make the mandatory field in both screens.

Dont Declare your field as OBLIGATORY.
Instead perform the validation in AT SELECTION-SCREEN event. But validation should be only when Particular Radiobutton is selected.
And Generate only Error Message (Type E).
Try this code:

How to change the description of a program or report

Hi,
I had copy a report of and changed thereby the name.
But the description is still the same and I can't find
a way to change this.
The problem with the description is that it appears
as program-title in selection-screen-->select-options.

I'm trying to know how to change/fix the color of the Text Selection Tool (Ctrl + 4). Because when I highlight the text, it's only one color (Dark Blue) that make me could not read clear.

The highlight color is determined by the system-wide color scheme that you're using. There's no way to change it only for okular.

How to change the description of variant article

I need to append some value( size or country) to the variant article description.
suppose if the generic article no is 123456 (football shoe)then the variant article numbers will be
123456001 , 123456002 etc...which is done by default by SAP. and the description also is taken from geenric article football shoe, same like generic article, this we need to change.
now the description of the variant article also will be taken from Generic article.
but here the description is to be chagned(appened) with some value.
ex. football shoe IN 9 (indicating the India and size 9)...
iam looking at some enhancement MGW00002 and user exit:EXIT_SAPLMGNK_003, but this is useful only to change the variant article number not description.
Any hints will be great help.

How to change sy=uname value in selection screen?

In selection screen i declared a default file path like this..
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Vendor\'.
when it displays the path in selection screen, I want to replace that user name with SY-UNAME FIELD.
Can any one let me know where i can change this..

If you are trying to set the the folder for the "windows" user, you can try this instead.
I doubt that the SAP user id is always the same as the local user folder on the frontend.

Need Help -- How to Change the icon of a selected Tree Node

i am working on Jtree application, and i am adding image icons to the Nodes.
my dought is when i select a node, i want to display that selected node as opened and all other icons should remain closed.
Example:

Here if i am selecting Child2 means, only the image icon of that child2 should open the nodes and display the icon , all other icons from root to subchild should remain same as closed.
