How to change the Configuration of Serviceable material in Repair Sales Ord

Hi,
I have to change the configuration of the main item of a repair sales order which will have a serviceable material
for an inbound interface.
Is there a standard FM or BAPI/RFC available to do so. I tried using CUCB_CHANGE_CONFIGURATION and CUCB_SET_CONFIGURATION but they dont work, meaning they dont raise any exception and sy-subrc is set to zero but still the changes are not reflected once i check it in the transcation.
Any input is appreciated.

If you are using condion record, you can change the value for the required condition type so that it will flow to PO. IF you are not using that, you can change the price at the line item level in PO itself.

CUP/CUCM IP Address change - how to change the configuration of Jabber/CUPC in batch

I have an implementation of CUCM / CUP with endpoints Cisco Jabber and CUPC.
The CUCM/CUP IP address will change.
Is there a way to change the configuration of Cisco Jabber / CUPC on all devices?

CUPC:
There is a registry setting that you can specify.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.\Client Services Framework\AdminData\CUPServer
CUPS
You will also need to make changes to the CUPS config for the TFTP, CTI gateway and CCMCIP settings.
Application -> Cisco Jabber/CUPC -> Setttings.
You'll also need to change the truck settings to CUCM if you have this configured.

Not 100% sure on Jabber. Maybe someone else can comment on that.

How to fetch the configuration of a material !

Hi Guys,
I need to fetch configuration for some materials found in MARC like the characteristic "Size" or "Color".
For this reason I call first the function CE_C_PROCESSING to the instance of the material and then call the function CE_I_GET_CONFIGURATION to get the the characteristics and values for the material. Everything works ok but these two functions take loooooooooooong time to respond so I have performance problem when I have to fetch for e.g. 400 materials their configurations. Now I was wondering does anybody know is there any other functions to call to get the configuration with ?

Hi.. Here our materials are configured . If i start to create a quotation or order i can get some default characteristics. I tries and found it is coming from cu50 and it is using the fm CE_C_PROCESSING. Here my problem is i am creating this order and quotation from external system . First i have to default characteristics to customer then he have an option to change it . By using the above fm i can see the default characteristics screen Here the problem how to get these characteristics names , values and write it . I hope you will share your ideas if you work on this . By seeing the above thread posted by you i am asking you .

as i have installed sap 4.7 ides version on my home pc for practice , but hwenver i am creating the new material master in the system , i observe that in accounting1 tab the current period is 12 2002 , how should i change the current posting period so that i can start the transaction in current uear 2009 and then later i can work in 2010 ....
i have tried the transaction mmrv, mmpv, mmpi through some resources but i didnt know how to do the settings in the system in IMG (SPRO) kindly help me through , i have wasted lot of time in this..

Check in OMSY Transaction that, Which current month and year is having your comapny code.
and go to T.Code MMPV
enter Next Month of that cureent period and Year
and Execute. You find the message that your current period has changed.
Do the same process month by month till reaches to current period and year.

I am already changing the UOM in the same include and in the subroutine "USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP". But it is again over writing in the standard program. What I need to do, to remain same UOM.

How to change the connection pool configuration on OC4J?

Hi everybody,
I am developing an application with JDeveloper which is running on an OC4J standalone server, we have 2 enviroments, the develop server and the server of the client, and the data base connection configurations are differents.
The problem is that if we try to deploy the application (we have deploy on the develop server) on the client server and try to change the connection pool configuration the application cannot connect to the data base, we need to re-build the project with the client connection pool configuration.
We tried to change the configuration on the enterprise manager of the OC4J, on "JDBC Resources" panel, and the test the connection is ok, but when try to access to the application we get an Exception. After that we try to do that changing the parameters from the datasources.xml file on the application, but the result is the same.
How can we change the DataBase configuration without re-build the project?

Meaning you have created just the empty data-sources.xml and not configured any Connection Pool and DataSource in JDev?
In Oracle AS 10.1.3 you have two ways to do this:
1. Use JDev and configure the data-sources.xml (Context Menu -> Properties)
2. In Oracle AS: Select application -> Administration -> Services -> JDBC Resources -> Create Pool and Create DataSource

I now have a question related to ESS configuration. I want to know how to change the Portal user's pernr assignment in the ECC 6.0 system. Somebody had actually assigned my portal user ID a PERNR in the ECC 6.0 system. But now, for test purposes, I want to change the PERNR assignment to something else for my portal user id.
Could any of you please guide me in doing these steps?

Hi Leena,
You can create a new user name with the username and password assigned to it, with the transaction SU01.
Ex : ESS_USER1
Go to transaction code : PA30.
Enter the pernr you want to assign to the user ESS_USER1 that you have created earlier.
Enter infotype number : 105
Now go ahead and click on the change button.
And assign the user name as ESS_USER1.
Then the pernr number will be assigned to the ESS_USER1 that you have created.
You can check the same when you go to the HRUSER transaction code.

How to change the header of Material BOM in a program for alternative BOM ?

Requirement: An Inbound IDOC creates /change/delete Alternative Material BOM. The Alternative Material BOM can have alternative values from 1 to 99.
ISSUE: I am good with CREATE and DELETE BOM. The issue is with CHANGE of header Material BOM. The fields which we need to change in the header is the base quantity, BOM status, Lot Size from and Lot Size to. Please note that I am able to change the item details of the BOM with FM CSAI_BOM_MAINTAIN. I find no FM /BAPI which would change the header of a material BOM.
Please NOTE that I am using BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE to create alternative Material BOM. This has a parameter in TABLES called "VARIANTS" which has a field CS_FUNCTION which can have value from NEW/CHG/DEL .Also ,there is another parameter in TABLES called "ITEMASSIGNMENTS" which has a field CS_FUNCTION which can have value from NEW/CHG/DEL which implies this FM will allow us to change the BOM. But this does not work when I use it for CHANGE scenario with CHG value. I debugged this BAPI and observed it requires a STNLR(Bill of Material) value . This field is not there in any of the structure. I am not sure if I am passing the right parameters to it.
Let me know if the parameters are passed correctly for CHANGE scenario.
Also let me know if there is any other way(FM/BAPI) to update the Header of the Material BOM ?

Try doing something like this:

}which means you have got to catch the enter-key before the actutal JTextArea does this.
