TiffSv.ImageCompression = Photoshop.PsTiffEncodingType.psTiffLZW
docref.SaveAs(IllustFolder + "\" + IllustFile.Name, TiffSv)
docref.ChangeMode(DestinationMode:=Photoshop.PsChangeMode.psConvertToRGB)
TiffSv.EmbedColorProfile = False
Dim heg, wid As Double
heg = 768 / 300
wid = 576 / 300

  • How do I change DPI in Photoshop CC without changing the pixel dimension of the file?

    I used to be able to do this in Photoshop CS6 by simply clicking the check boxes in the "image size" dialog box:
    scale styles
    constrain proportions
    resample image
    (all boxes UNCHECKED)
    Then input the dpi (usually converting a 300dpi print file to 72dpi for web). And the pixel dimension will stay the same.
    In CC the only option I see is "scale styles" which does not apply to the pixel dimension of the file.
    Please help. I would hate to have to do this function in CS6 all the time.
    CS6:
    CC:

    Just uncheck the [ ] Resample checkbox, then change your Resolution.
    Change the units from Percent to Pixels if you want to see pixel dimensions.
    Once you've successfully run it through (after OK), note that it will remember your units settings the next time you use it.

  • How to change the width and height of the visible part of the of the report

    I have define a report with paper size 'Letter', orientation 'landscape' and 30 columns. Dynamically I am changing width of columns and suppressing many columns of the report.
    Mostly using first 16-20 columns and others get suppressed.
    Now problem is that when navigating the report thru crystal viewer, a huge blank spaces getting display on right of the report. When we take jump to some part of report thru navigation tree, the whole report gets shifted to left and only blank part is visible and it is required to scroll left.
    Even printing is not working correctly.
    Is there any way to change the width and height of the visible part of the report in the viewer thru .net classes? Setting the width and height of the report in Load event handler doesn't help.
    Example: CrystalReportViewer1.Width = 200; - is not helping.
    Is there any other solution?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks

    Hi Yogesh,
    Your suggestion 'reportDocument.PrintOptions.PaperSize=PaperSize.PaperLedger;' along with 'PaperOrientation' setting as follow works fine. I tried to switch between Landscape and Portrait depending on report width.
    reportDocument.PrintOptions.PaperOrientation = PaperOrientation.Landscape;
    But problem with crystal viewer remain as it is.
    While navigating report thru crystal viewer, when we take jump to some part of report thru navigation tree, the whole report gets shifted to left and it is required to scroll left.
    Thanks for your very good suggestion.

  • How to change the Entity dimension

    For practice purposes, I created a PSPB application in EPMA. Apparently the new app had no Entity data so I uploaded the entity information from the sample ads file into the EPMA shared dimension library.  I want my practice application called BUDGET to use this new and imported "Entity" dimension.  However, I can't find a way to assign the application to use this dimension or vice versa.  I didnt think the BUDGET app had an Entity dimension but now that I look at its dimensions, it is appearing there.  Even so, it appears to be different than the Entity dimension in the Dimension Library.  I've tried to copy the dimension to the application, but BUDGET doesnt show up as an available application.  How do I get the app to use this shared dimension or create the app to use it?

    For EPMA then usually you would highlight your dimension, select the category of system in the properties window, update the dimension alias, click save, deploy.

  • How do I change the pixel size of my photos?

    Hello,
    Please give me step by step instructions on how to change the pixel size of my photos from the time I log in.
    Thank you.

    There are basically two ways.
    Image>Image Size... This will adjust the quality of the image, allowing you to adjust the pixel dimensions and keep the full image.
    In the tool bar on left side of screen 5th icon down looks like a sliding picture frame. That is the crop tool, that will adjust the pixel size of a document by removing a portion of the image, allowing you to get rid of portions of the image you do not want.
    There are some other ways to accomplish the above, but these are the basics that everyone needs to know. I recommend playing with these tools on a copy of an image, that way you won't be afraid of destroying an image.

  • How can I change the pixel height and width of a photo in iPhoto without changing the dpi

    I want to change the dimensions of a photo. Current dimensions are 480 pixels on each side. I want to make a copy that is 100 pixels on each side, but I want the dpi to stay the same. In iPhoto I tried exporting the copy using the new dimensions, but the result was a blurred image. Is there another way to do this?

    to change the pixels crop to 100x100 and export with maximum dimension of 100 - see the user tip on exporting foo details on Export options - Exporting From iPhoto
    As to DPI - digital photos have no DPI since DPI is Dots Per Inch and digital photos have no inches hence no DPI - when you print a photo then DPI is a mathematical calculation - dots divided by inches - it is not a setting
    Print a 480 pixel photos as a 1" square and the print it 480 DPI (480 / 1 = 480) and print the 100 pixel image as a 1" square it will be 100 DPI (100 / 1 = 100) - print a 480 pixel photo as a 4.8 inch square and it is 100 dpi (480 / 4.8 = 100) - just a calculation - not a setting

  • How do you find the pixel dimensions of a photo to embed in Illustrator CC?

    We recently upgraded our software from CS3 to CC. I'm having trouble determining the pixel dimensions of the photo I want to embed in Illustrator. In our old work flow, we simply clicked on the object in Illustrator, and then opened a new document in Photoshop, and it would retain the dimensions at our document size in Illustrator. It was then a simple matter to paste the photo into the box, position and crop and save as a PSD file and then place in Illustrator. That does not work any more in Creative Cloud. The object downsizes to 72 DPI while retaining the resolution setting. We need to keep our Illustrator files to the minimum, so embedding larger than needed files is not possible.
    I've researched a bit and I see others with similar problems, but I haven't seen a workaround or a way to determine the pixel size. Document info in Illustrator gives the 72 dpi pixel settings, even though the document is set to reproduce at 200 dpi.
    This is something that used to be so simple I didn't think much of upgrading. Now my workflow is horrendously long. I have to rasterize the entire graphic and then crop what is the inset photo. If there is a simpler way, please tell me. All the literature is backwards, about placing an already sized PS image into Illustrator. I need the other way 'round.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    I think I have a workaround: Make sure the clipboard settings are on 72 by cutting and pasting a 72 dpi file in PS, as it seems Illustrator images are seen that way, no matter what the output resolution is. Click on Photoshop and start a new document. It will retain the proportions of the Illustrator image in 72 dpi. Then open image size and make sure the resample box is checked. Change the resolution to the desired, in my case 200.. Then place and crop your photo, and save the PSD file. Open Illustrator and place the PSD file. This works for me.

  • For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. Nothing there about sizing.

    For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. I don't see anything about re-sizing when I click the adjust tab: only saturation and tint levels. Thank you.

    With respect to digital images, there really is no size in inches. The size is given as number of pixels horizontally and vertically. In iPhoto '09 you click the little "i" inthe lower right side of the window and it will display information related to the selected photo, including the pixel dimensions. I do not have iPhoto '11 installed so I don't know if it is the same there.
    In some applications, such as preview, it has something additional called Dots per Inch (DPI) which you would think would allow you to convert the pixel dimensions to inches. It is not a real thing, though. The DPI is determined by how large or small you have chosen to print your photo and the capabilities of your printer.
    There is also something called Aspect Ratio, which is usually expressed in inches x inches such as 6x9 but that doesn't mean the size on the screen or when printed is 6x9.  It is the ratio of the pixel dimensions.  When cropping your photos, you will have several standard aspect ratios to choose from plus any custom ones you create.
    In iPhoto '09, after you choose Print, in the Print Setting window are the settings for the size you want the photo printed. You want to shoose a setting with the same aspect ratio of your photo. Otherwise, iPhoto will resize and/or crop your photo to fit the size you have chosen.

  • How to change PDF document dimensions - Acrobat Pro 9

    Hi,
    I'm trying to figure out how to change the dimensions of my PDF in Acrobat Pro.
    The original artwork was created in Illustrator and the final document is primarily for screen use (not print) so was created using pixels (600x665px to be precise). However when the artwork is created into a PDF, when viewed (and printed) in Acrobat, it is rather large and I want to make this smaller.
    If anyone can advise on this it'd be much appreciated!
    thanks
    HS

    You might play with the Touchup Object tool off the Advanced Editing toolbar.
    Use the tool to select the image. Any of the four corners can be "grabbed" and a mouse drag will let you change the space occupied, on the PDF page, by the image. Not a "fine control" but, sometimes, all that's needed.
    Or, in Preferences > Touchup category - the associated configuration pane permits selection of an installed image editor.
    Now, using the Touchup Object tool's context menu, you can use the "Edit Image..." selection.
    Edit the image and return it to the PDF.
    Be well...

  • Know how to change the outline shape of a tooltip?

    Hi All,
    I was wondering if anybody knows how to change the shape of a tooltip popup box?
    I've implemented my own UI delegate for ToolTipUI and overridden the paint( Graphics g, JComponent c ) method which I thought would have allowed me to completely control the rendering of the tooltip, box and all. But what I discovered was that even when I did nothing inside this method, the rectangular popup window was still appearing (I stepped through the code, and the correct instance of UI was being used, not the one that may have been defined by UIManager.set( "ToolTipUI", "foo.Bar" )) After a little more investigation, I ended up in ToolTipManager.showTipWindow() which eventually calls
    PopupFactory popupFactory = PopupFactory.getSharedInstance();
    tipWindow = popupFactory.getPopup(insideComponent, tip, location.x, location.y);
    tipWindow.show();To try to overcome this, as a test I extended JButton with the following constructor:
    public TestButton() {
        super();
        setUI( new MyCustomUI() );
        ToolTipManager.sharedInstance().unregisterComponent( this );
    }but this didn't solve the problem either. Has anybody got any ideas on this?
    Cheers,

  • I cannot figure out how to change the photo size on my iPhone 5s.  I was given the choice of small, medium or large the first time I took a picture.  Now I have no idea how to change it to medium.  Can anyone help?

    I cannot figure out how to change the photo size on my iPhone 5s.  The first time I took a pic it asked if I wanted smalll,  medium or large and listed the pixels.  I chose small but am now finding that is too small.  Can anyone help me set it to medium now?  I can't find any setting for that.  I'm a newby to iPhones and have no idea what I'm doing.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

    By "sending" do you mean sending email?
    If so, what app are you using to take the photos on your iPhone 5? Or are the photos from a different source (saved to your Camera Roll from somewhere else, like a web page or Messages)?
    My guess is that Mail gives you the option to send different file sizes when it detects you are trying to Mail a really large photo file. The size of photos on the iPhone 5 is really big and some email providers may stop your mail from being delivered if attachments are too large. Thus, Mail tries to help you by offering to resize the photo.
    I suspect that if you are sending smaller files, Mail does not bother giving you options to save a smaller version. In fact, I have seen this behavior. So, if the photo is already "small enough", it gets sent as-is.
    To my  knowledge, there is no global iOS setting for this. Some apps may have different rules, of course.

  • How to set the size for height of iView tray?

    Hi,
    I have created a ABAP webdynpro component and integrated this comp with iView. Then i integrated iView into Page in portal. That is working fine.
    But the size of tray/window which is displayed in the page is very small.
    How to increase the height of that Tray/window/iView containing my component?

    Hi,
    By changing the maximum automatic height and Minimum automatic height property of the iview you can set the size for height of your iview.
    to do this follow the setps:
    goto content administrator -> portal content -> your folder where you created your iview or directly to your iview -> right click -> open -> object,
    and now in property category choose appearance-Size from the drop down menu and set the above properties to your required height.
    if you want the end user to modify this property set the property to read/write .
