    can anybody tell me how to check the JDK version of a compiled java file ?
    Edited by: gbhatia8 on Sep 9, 2010 7:04 AM

    The major/minor version of the class file is the way to go.
    Also, it's not necessary to write a separate program to get to those. javap prints them out when being passed the -v flag.
    Note, however that "JDK version" is not a correct term, as I can create 1.4-compatible class files with a Java 6 JDK (by passing the -target flag to javac). Those won't look any different than .class files written with a 1.4 JDK.

    How to check the verity version in our PeopleSoft Installation? I am not sure if the verity is installed or not and also if installed what is the version?

    yes. it says the version is 5.0.1
    Is there any difference in installation or configuration when the app and web server are in same machine and when the app and web server are installed in different servers?

  • How to check Solaris update version

    Hi,
    How to check which update version is on Solaris 10?
    I have Solaris 10 update 4 installed on SPARC and I want to make sure that it is update 4.
    The output from uname command:
    bash-3.00# uname -a
    SunOS sun3 5.10 Generic_118833-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V245
    Does the number 118833-17 indicate that this is update 4?
    Kind regards,
    Daniel

    So how it is possible that I have downloaded from Sun download the file sol-10-u4-ga-sparc-dvd-iso-a.zip and sol-10-u4-ga-sparc-dvd-iso-b.zip. Burned and using JumpStart i have installed on the SPARC machine. And this is not Update 4?
    According to me it should be updated 4.

  • How to download a file version from office 365 using csom

    I need to download an older file version from office 365 and get the data into a byte array. I have no trouble downloading the latest version with File.OpenBinaryStream() and I have no trouble loading the previous file versions with File.Versions. But now
    I need to actually download an older version of the file and it seems the only way is to use File.OpenBinaryDirect. So I am creating a client context using my oAuth access token and providing the correct path, but I am getting a (401) Unauthorized
    error. Looking with Fiddler I can see that the call to OpenBinaryDirect is somehow trying to post to my file URL and the server is responding with 401.
    context = TokenHelper.GetClientContextWithAccessToken(SPHostUrl, AccessToken);
    FileInformation info = File.OpenBinaryDirect(context, "/" + _fileVersion.Url);  //throws 401
    //leading slash required otherwise ArgumentOutOfRangeException
    I have to be able to access the older file versions with my c# code -- I don't have a viable app without that ability -- any help urgently needed and greatly appreciated!

    Thank you SO much (Can't wait for the next release)!
    For anyone else who lands here, here's the code I ended up using:
    // VersionAccessUser and VersionAccessPassword are stored in web.config
    // web.Url is loaded via the clientContext
    // myVersion is the FileVersion I got from the file's Versions.GetById() method
    // probably a lot of ways to get hostUrl, it just needs to be https://yourdomain.sharepoint.com/
    // - I'm running my app from a subweb
    // I had trouble following the links to get the full MsOnlineClaimsHelper code
    // (the one on msdn.com was missing RequestBodyWriter, WSTrustFeb2005ContractClient,
    // and IWSTrustFeb2005Contract
    // so I've included the code I used here.
    string myVersionFullUrl = string.Format("{0}/{1}", web.Url, myVersion.Url);
    string userName = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get("VersionAccessUser");
    string strPassword = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get("VersionAccessPassword");
    string hostUrl = Regex.Replace(web.Url, "([^/]+//[^/]+/).*", "$1");

    client.Headers.Add(HttpRequestHeader.Cookie, claimsHelper.CookieContainer.GetCookieHeader(new Uri(hostUrl)));
    var document = client.DownloadString(myVersionFullUrl);

  • How to Check a file in the directory..

    Dear,
    Pl. do suggest me how to check a file (e.g. abc.txt) is in the directory (say d:\Print).
    Do tell me how to check whether this file is exist in the directory or not???
    Thanx in Advance.
    Bhavesh

    Hi
    You can use Win_Api_Utility.Copy_File cmd. IF the file does not exist r the file was not copied to the destination properly, it will raise no_data_found error. See Forms help - Find option for syntax & more details.
    I've used it & works well.

  • How to find .pld files version in Oracle apps

    Hi,
    How to find .pld file version in Oracle apps using unix command or any other way.
    Regards

    Connect to the forms server.
    In the $AU_TOP/resource directory run the following...
    strings -a <NAMEOFFILE>.plx | grep '$Header'
    For example...
    To find the .pld version of INVAMCAP.plx I would run this on the forms server.
    cd $AU_TOP/resource
    strings -a INVAMCAP.plx | grep '$Header'
    This will return the .pld version.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to check amsilent file in Sun Access manager patch or redeploying WAR's

    h1. How to check amsilent file in Sun Access manager patch or redeploying WAR's
    I had a hard time getting all the passwords correct, so I wrote a shell (bash) script that uses most passwords and other parameters in searches and queries. It let's you know before you start if a value is wrong. It does not change anything, only queries.
    h2. One pitfall I found ...
    during the postinstall of patch 05. I told Sun about it, but I suspect it was too late and is also an issue with patch 06:
    Look at the documentation regarding amconfig and the amsilent file:
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2137/adsav?l=en&q=amconfig&a=view
    Two problems that are clear to me now:
    1. ADMINPASSWD in practice, this password is used for cn=puser, not amadmin as it says. Perhaps there is something that makes them the same. It was the same for me, so it probably does not matter.
    2. AS81_ADMINPASSWD is not the same as ADMINPASSWD using either my definition or the document's definition. However, in the amsilent template, it is set like this, which I found is incorrect and the cause of my recent hair loss:
    <blockquote>AS81_ADMINPASSWD="$ADMINPASSWD"</blockquote>
    Also, this one if you use the web server:
    <blockquote>WL8_PASSWORD="$ADMINPASSWD"</blockquote>
    Delete the $ADMINPASSWD and replace it with the password for the app/web server.
    h2. The Script.
    It tests for the above problem, but I just realized it does not check $ADMINPASSWD. If that is set incorrectly in your amsilent, you'll get errors immediately from amconfig, so no big deal. If you make improvements, please post a reply!
    Paste this into a file named checkamsilent. LDAP and appserver must be running. It reads /opt/SUNWam/amsilent. Run it as root or use sudo:
    sudo ./checkamsilent
    #!/usr/bin/bash
            echo "This will test several important parameters of the amsilent file "
            echo "run this as root."
            echo "### read in the amsilent parameters"
            echo "source /opt/SUNWam/amsilent  "
    source /opt/SUNWam/amsilent
            echo "### look for the *server port* with LISTNER, otherwise it's not listening. "

            echo "--------------"
            echo "."
            echo "### Expect to see a line of XML, otherwise the SERVER_PORT is incorrect in the amsilent file."

  • How to check the OLite version and isntalled patches?!

    Hi,
    A couple of months ago we installed the consolidated patch 9535503 in the Mobile Server version (10.3.0.2.0). All the clients (WIN32) were supossed to make a synchronization with mSync.exe and install the patch when exit the sync (similar to first installation)
    There is now a client which faces the same bug (or this looks like) and i don't know how to check if it is possible to check if the above patch has been installed in the client or not.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance...
    Tomeu

    the device manager should be running, if not start it up. the client version should be on the main display screen, and you can see the individual component versions in file>version
    If it is patches you are looking for, open the polite.ini file and there should be a section at the end [DMC.UPDATE] that should show the installed patches

  • How to display sequence file version in report?

    We would like to add the sequence file version number
    (Edit>>Sequence File Properties...) to our reports and record it
    in the test result database.  How do you access this property from
    a step in the sequence?

    OR use RunState.SequenceFile.Data.Version.
    For the Report Header:
    In a ModifyReportHeader callback, add a statement step that has this expression:
    Parameters.ReportHeader += RunState.SequenceFile.Data.Version
    This will append the SequenceFile Version to the header string. You will probably want to play with placement and may decide to insert more than just the version.
    Also, note that the ModifyReportHeader callback is only called when a Sequence is used to generate the report body. See the bottom of the Content tab of the Report Options Dialog (Configure>>Report Options) for this setting.
    For Database Logging:
    If you haven’t done this before, you will need to customize the schema and the database to include this additional “result”. I recommend adding a column to the UUT_RESULT table for this sort of information. If you have taken the TestStand I: Introduction course, this process is covered in Lesson 11. Otherwise, there is background information in the TestStand Help and Chapter 6 of the TestStand Reference Manual. The key will be found in Configure>>Database Options.

  • CVAPI_DOC_CHECKOUTVIEW - how to check´out files to a SAP directory

    Hello,
    I have an issue with understanding and providing the FM CVAPI_DOC_CHECKOUTVIEW to check out files from KPRO to a SAP directory.
    I use CV120_KPRO_CHECKOUT to checkout files to local PC and this runs fine, but not for checking out files to SAP directories. So I found the API.... FM.
    But I am confused about the data required to run the FM CVAPI_DOC_CHECKOUTVIEW . I tried several times but it does not work either for check out to clnt nor to SAP server.
    Parameters for DOKAR, DOKNR, DOKVR and DOKTL are clear to me. PF-CONTENT_PROVIDE is CLNT for PC check out and SRV for Server checkout. But what about the rest?
    I am not sure how to provide the tables and the fields PF_FTP_DEST / PF_HTTP_DEST / PF_HOSTNAME and the PS_API_CONTROL.
    Can anybody help me with the required import data.
    Best regards
    Dirk

  • JDev-SCM Check Out File Version

    When using the RON, I have been able to successfully check out a specific version of a file using the graphical Version History Viewer (and right clicking on the appropriate node).
    When attempting the same within the 9i JDeveloper IDE, however, this functionality does not appear to work the same/correctly? The node turns blue (and SCM believes the file version is checked out), but JDeveloper does not appear to reflect the same....the icon in the System Navigator does not change to indicate the file's checked out status and the specific version of the file is not written to the workarea's download directory (as is the case with the RON)....?

    This is Release Candidate 2 on Win2K with the Windows Look & Feel. I have tried the Oracle L&F, too, with the same outcome. The same steps in the RON, however, produce the desired result.
    Thanks.
